i have an issue with my microphone not working
(no voice search, not able to call but whatsapp voice messages work) i think maybe one microphone is broken.
However i have a rooter phone with Cyanogen OS and all my apps safed.
The support said i should install Oxygen OS to see if that solves the issue but i couldnt find a pre rooted twrp flashable oxygen.
So what can i do? I dont want to loose root and i also dont really want Oxygen.
Hi I installed Oxygen Os v2.1.4 in Oneplus One and I had similar issue with mic. I installed but in vein, the mic issue persists.

I'm using this rom, and like it very much..
Just one thing, my phone keeps asking me to update software to android 5.0.1
It keeps poping up. I tried it once (wich I think isn't a great idea) but my phone just reboots into recovery (TWRP). The only thing I can do at that point is to reboot system, nothing is changed after the reboot, I'm just back to 4.4.4. Then later the phone starts asking for the update again...
Does someone have a solution for this?

I've installed this rom recently and as far as I can say the update is useless because it's for htc one m7. On the update screen it says that they want to update the one m7 and it happens in my opinion because this rom is ported from one m7 or something, idk I think the best solution would be to sumply ignore the update notification and live life as usual. If I come up with any solution I'll notify as soon as possible :good:

Hey, I've came up one more problem using this rom - my music playback pauses randomly. On the rom forum some guys said they have the same issue and as a solution they use poweramp music player where the issue is gone for them. The problem is that my poweramp is also broken as other music players my in-call audio is fully working because I have applied fix zip mentioned in the main forum. Maybe the problem occurs with music playback because of the fix zip? I'll try to re-flash rom and see if the problem still exist.
I recently flashed cm 13 to update my dad' OnePlus One. It was on was on Sultan Cm12.1(?) before I got a new phone, and gave my oneplus one to my dad. After finally updating the ROM to a CM13, the microphone doesn't work anymore. The microphone doesn't pick up your voice unless you cup your hand near the microphone. But it didn' work. any ideas what else to do? I even went back to 5.1.1, but same problem. I do know that the twrp recovery is not updated, and is still on 2.8.6.0, but i don't think it has to do with anything.
I've been having notification problems for a while some system apps work like Gmail, Android messages and Google now work. But anything else including YouTube , Facebook and other third party apps don't work.
I have tried installing pnf fixer from the playstore rebooted my phone . Installed push notification tester which successfully sent a notification so notifications can send.
I was using lineage os 14.1 so I switched ROMs to paranoid Android 7.3.0 unnoficial still the same problem
flashed the stock rom from Motorola's website. Then I flashed lineage again still the same problem.
I also played around with battery optimisation and doze. I am using the latest build of lineage os from the 5th of January Latest gapps and magisk. I thought flashing the stock rom would fix everything but apparently not. Has anyone else had similar problems is there a fix ?

I am searching for a de-googled rom that has none of the following problems.
- Echo in calls for caller
- No sound during phone calls (i had this problem with my last rom which was cdroid)
- random disconnecting wifi and bt
- very bad battery life
- ussd codes dont work in any of them but i was to understand that had something to do with the missing samsung dialer app.
I have tried almost every single rom available and they all have at least the echo and wifi problems.
How is it possible that they all have that? The only roms that dont have it are roms below 7.0.1 and they are either not aosp or the links are dead.
I have finally flashed back to the latest stock rom and all the issues went away but now my phone is infected with google and bloat again.
Im on G920FXXS6ETI6 firmware now with PHN region
Are there any roms out there that work?
Or ami doing something wrong? I always follow the instructions that come with the roms so i asume what im doing is right.
Anyone else have these problems?
I fixed the issue by getting a pixel 3a and installing grapheneOS on is.
It runs like a charm and has none of the problems i had.

Hi, I have this super-weird issue - my OOS got update to v12 and since then weird things happened:
It started to suddenly and immediately turn off and I couldnt do a thing. I did hard reset and noticed that turning on Gooogle Assistant (or using the mic at all) caused these resets. So I didnt activte Assistant. Unfortunnately, this caused my mic not to work at all.
So i have given up and decided to revert to previous rom - v11. Unfortunately, that is everything but simple:
I have downloaded ROM for EU from here oneplus site and tried both OP local update tool and this weird app named my application2. Both dont seem to work and im not sure why, I checked like 5 different ROM versions and I am kind of stuck. OP Local prompts me that I cannot install lower version of package than currently installed and this other app throws me pop up with this message: "Verification failed". I tried to google it and checked here on forum and I cant find similar thread.
Could anyone help me out with this?
I just went through this. I downgraded from 12L to 11. For some reason some of the roms do not want to be used by the local upgrade app. I used a different one from the one I will direct you to and it said that I couldn't downgrade. Under "signed flashable zips" in the op, click "click to show content". I don't know which one you need global/India or Europe. I specifically used the global/India OnePlus7ProOxygen_21.P.41_GLO_0410_2112101753.
Use the local upgrade tool app. Downgrading will completely wipe your phone. So, make backups of your backups. If you root your phone, make sure to freeze the System Update app to get rid of the annoying update notification. So happy to have root/twrp back.
Thanks, unfortunately I have rolled back to OOS 11 and it didnt solve a thing - i keep seeing this lightning symbol and phone turns off even on full battery, I cant make phone calls because any use of mic turns off the phone immediately and I have no clue what to do next with it.
