[Q]Odd brick?! - LG G Flex 2

Hello guys, I am on xda for long time now but this is first time I am posting something so plz dont kill me
I have H955 running v15D...
So here is the problem. I flashed modpack http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-flex2/development/dec-21-stock-lollipop-flex-2-ls996-t3275531 v3.5 and now I cant flash any KDZ and I want to start fresh.
So almost like with other people BUT I can still boot to the system. I tried many combinations but nothing works. LG flashtool always stucks at 9%. What should I do?
I am trying to flash new KDZ because my speakers are too loud and distorted and I am missing stock LG keyboard (long story dony ask...)

If you can still boot to system why not flash stock system backup through dd command? That should erase the mods...

I didnt made system backup. Even if I did, I still dont know how to flash it nor how to u se dd comands. I got this phone 10 days ago. I never had this type od problems on good ol' m8. Please help me

Follow the guides... You said you can still boot to system so do as the guides say to restore back to stock 15D or the rootedsystedm.img of 15D.

Which one ? I tried 2 methods and both failed. I still have strange narrow font and too loud sound. Basicly nothing happens, even wallpaper staid the same...

Use the Go back to stock guide for your model, copy the stock or the rooted system.img then from download mode restory the system

I did it, but in my one special way hahahaha basicly I flashed rootedsystem.img (v15D) on flasher that is designed for h950 and ls996. After the fash I was stuck at LG boot logo but somehow my pc detected it as download mode. Then I flashed .kdz with no problems in LG flash tool v15c

1. Download system img for your build (mine was 15D)
2. Download system img flasher FOR H950 AND LS996 link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-flex2/general/p-restore-recovery-to-stock-tool-h950-t3171550
3. If you dont have LG mobile drivers download them...
4. Enter the program while phone is normally booted and then choose ls996 (at least I took this one)
5. After the flash I was stuck at bootloop in which my PC recognised my phone in download mode (I dont know how but k)
6. When my phone got recognised I closed h950 and ls996 app and opened basic LG tool for flashing kdz
7. Flash KDZ
Finish

Yes it works thanks man <3

Tried and true on H950 5.1.1PR, I used H950 option in the flasher and it worked right off the bat, no bootloops. After that I flashed KDZ with flash tool and everything's fine and dandy, though I still cannot access recovery via button combination and it says no command

LG P920 brick after factory reset

Hey guys, I have done a factory reset on my lg p920 after which the phone
only boots into the recovery. So this means I have no way to enter my phone again.
I have tried to reflash the kdz but I can't get my phone back into emergency mode.
So the only options I have now with my phone are holding the 3d , down volume and power button and choose between
- flashboot
- recovery
- normal
So is there a way to recover this brick and get back to ics ?
Thanks in advance guys

if you can get into fast boot you can flash one of xbsall's ics images for o3d this should then let you flash his ics rom using the all in one tool in the development section. this should fix it and then you can install whatever you want after

Did you try flash stock ROM?
Did you try to get into fastboot and restore from there ? Theres a thread with the images of stock 4.3and how to do it...
Same thing happened to me, got into fastboot (Vol Down + Power) and restore stock using ADB, and everything is fine now
EDIT 1: Theres this tool, but ive heard that sometimes restore does not work, but maybe thats already fixed ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2635706)
EDIT 2: And here it is how to restore stock Moto G (the link for thestock images fof specific carriers/country are there too), just remember that the fastboot commands can change from one carrier to another (Mine didnt had system spacechunk1/2/3, just 1 system file --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2542219
Hope this works, and if this is not your problem than at least i give it a bump lol

Can I install custom ROM from stock recovery mode?
First of all you shouldnt have made a factory reset.
Did you have a rootedsystem.img or system.img in the root of your internal sd card?
If you did all you had to do is dd flash that image and your phone would have returned to life. If you read the instructions to rooting you shouldve made a backup first!
If you flash ZV5 TOT you will hard brick your phone.

Well I thought u had custom recovery, never mind, u just need to enter in bootloader and flash the stock ROM. This might save u from soft brick.

Thats not the answer
Thats bootloader looking your boot.
You must reflash the kdz ot tot file.
The other solution is reflash only system with dd command from download mode
If you cant do it, send me a pm

Yes sr, there is a root guide with a pullfile or something like that, similar to send command. You can send files to any location of the phone.

There is a push_file.exe used for other LG phones to upload files in the download mode.
However, there is a size limitation and system image files can not be uploaded. I've already tried. As for uploading build.prop files, the system directory is locked and the permission can not be modified.

To root, you are not writing in the system folder but actually replacing the system folder by overwriting the whole memory block using dd command.
But to use dd command, the modified image has to be already in the internal storage. External SD card is also can not be mounted and not accessible.

I am not and will not be accountable if this guide does not fix your phone. I also will not and should not be held accountable if this guide is to further damage anything of your phone.
PROCEED WITH CAUTION; Please Pre-Read this guide and understand it before proceeding
.Okay so I will guide you through on how to fix the security error problem most people have on their LG devices
download the LG Mobile Support Tool
After downloading that place it on your desktop and run it as administrator
After you run B2CAppSetup.exe it should automatically open the Mobile Support Tool, if not there should be a new .exe created on the desktop called LGMobile Support Tool just double click and open that.
Let the program update and install any necessary files that it requires. (It should automatically start to update and install, it should just prompt you with a UAC window)
Once you see the program open, click on the Install USB Driver button on the top left-hand side
Then a new window will come up asking for you for the phones carrier and the phones model number.
Once you are successfully done installing the drivers, we can proceed to the restoration process of the phone
Okay now we need to put the phone in S/W Upgrade Mode.
A. make sure phone is off
B. While holding down the VOLUME UP BUTTON insert the microUsb in the phone while also having the USB side connected to the computer already. (To enter S/W)
Once the phone is in S/W Upgrade Mode the computer will start to install the drivers and the LG Mobile Support Tool will automatically detect it and start the restore process
A.Keep in mind that this process takes its time and should more than likely complete successfully giving you a working phone
If all goes well you should have a fully functioning factory restored LG phone. Congratulations!!!!

You must install stock rom first and at the developer options change Oem unlock to true and USB flash debugging
There's another way too and in both ways you lose root.

No, Odin flashes .tar files, not .img.
What .img are you trying to flash? If you want to flash an .img on Samsung, you need to use TWRP(it can flash .img files) or you can try using a Terminal Emulator or adb shell to dd the .img using dd commands.
