Hello, my gs6 is very bad at taking selfies, it always does a ****ty effect on faces and make them look not so good... any tip guys?

Have you got something like beautify on? This happened to me and it makes everyone look fake and plastic lol

I have all options in 0 in the beautify mode and still it makes the faces look very unnatural is this happening with you guys?
Yes, but not always, in some light conditions
Maybe it's your face
It happens to me occasionally. Not noticed a particular scenario though

I think each camera shines in its own way, and to be honest either of these cameras is good enough for me. It's the convenience of smartphone cameras that make them great, if I want a stunning photo ill use a dedicated camera meant for that purpose.

its not the final firmware and its still better than all of them outdoors ( IP5 overexpose the images ) , GS4 seems only have little problem with focus indoors ( or maybe he took unfocused image )
edit : the video rec seems suck , its dropping frames like ***** + the stabilization seems useless ( i hope this will change in final software )
Hi. I was just wondering if the new amoled screens on our s6 really benefit from a black background still. I know that this was a potential power saving thing for old amoled screens but is it still true for the ones we have now? Also, has there been any proper measurement of how much battery saving or screen on time is saved when using a black background? If it's not significant then I wouldn't bother. I read anandtech's review and the white background seems to not take a toll on browsing.

i'm sure black backgrounds use less energy, it's the very nature of OLED displays
but i'm not about to go out of my way to change everything to black/dark
On general i use backgrounds that I like and I change them on the go as I feel ... Haven't give it much thinking which one will need more power or not ... I can only say that I was reading the other day an article that Samsung's amoled panels have been evolving a lot and that no matter the bump in resolution s6 has the least power hungry screen from all flegships in S line up ...

I agree with what you said. Just a while ago I was changing most of my apps to black themed then I realized it was ugly. I'm so tired of seeing black.

it will work with a metal strap too. i tried it with the strap of my moto 360 but I liked how the plastic one from my Gwatch R looks and feels so i made the transplant with that one instead.

That is a nifty idea for button sleeves. In the photo the button just about match too. My business shirts tend to use cuff links but so far the watch hasn't been too much of an inconvenience.
Ended up not buying a S8+. But, I have these accessories. Would like them to go to someone who contributes here. So. Let me know if you want them. Free of course, as i believe sales are not allowed here.
