ive have use http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2102677 tut to install cwm and root my device am i still able to receive official updates or no ? and how do i fix that ...

Heyy Guy's I have a nice Rom Ported from the Symphony W72.
It's ColorOS JB 4.2.2 but i don't can Test it...:crying:
I don't have a recovery or a wrong recovery. i flashed a recovery with CTRv2.4 and now i become a Black Screen ...than it boot normaly.
Can someone help me? please mail me a backup from the right recovery please. ps sry for my bad english.

Rooting my Galaxy Note 10.1 to KitKat or newer

Hi,
Apparently I posted this in the wrong forum before based on the reply I got in the General forum...Sorry for that!
I wanted to know if it's possible to root my Galaxy Note 10.1 to KitKat (or newer)? I want to have the download-option in Netflix. I've spent hours now trying to find out, but I'm not any wiser...I'm just more confused how to do this.
Model: GT-N8010
Android: 4.1.2
Build: JZO54K.N8010XXUCMK2
Region: bought in Norway...?
More specifically I am wondering what firmware to download, which will work on my tab.

Could you please elaborate on the procedure?

Root does not give you KK or any rom.
Custom rom decide the one you want first with live download .
Follow its instructions.
Usual is flash custom recovery tar via Odin .
Put custom rom zip on ext sd card and flash through recovery .

hey guys i successfully made a recovery flashable zip for the J106H stock rom ,am thinking to make a stock based custom rom for the j1 mini prime so any help ,advice ,suggestion ??
Note: am a beginner in XDA and am sorry for my bad english

I cant give any advise couse im not a cook but you will help everyone of us if you succeed!
Do it bro ill be willing to test it if you like

j106h was my first phone. I would love to have a custom rom in it. so please go ahead!
