So, the other day I went to unlock this phone through HTC dev ( I've done it before, so I know the process) yet, when I reboot into download mode, there is no fastboot option. I already have the "allow oem bootloader unlock" checked in the developers options menu, yet still no fastboot option in download mode, and it does not appear as an option at All in the battery setting... any help?
Download mode is the new fastboot. Boot into download mode and issue fastboot commands as usual

Bought this e3 yesterday from Vodafone as a spare device. Noticed that the bootloader status was not allowed, not a big deal as its only a spare. But fastboot mode is enabled I thought it was disabled on devices that couldn't be unlocked? after all what's the point of fastboot with a non unlockable boot loader?
Same happened to me. Bought device with locked but unlockable BL and fastboot mode worked... I dont know if its "real" fastboot tho
because there are not any custom kernels yet so we cannot try to flash kernel

My BL is not unlockable. Fastboot replies command not allowed when I try, not fussed just thought it was strange being their in the first place.
I have a Huawei Ascend Mate 7 that is giving me an Error at boot and is stuck at the "Rescue Mode" screen. I was in TWRP Recovery coming back to stock Rom. After flashing back to stock, when it rebooted I now am stuck in the "Rescue Mode" screen.(which is basically fastboot) ADB function s do not work, but fastboot cmd's do. My bootloader is unlocked but I can not " fastboot flash system _______" I get the error failed remote cmd not allowed. I can "fastboot update _____" only thing is any zip I create says it's missing android device info.txt and so on. I'm adding the "meta.inf " folder with the update.binary and updater.scripts in it. So I guess my question is what is this "Error! FUNC NO:12 (FUNC_LOAD_IOM3) Error NO : 1 ? And how can I fix without being able to "fastboot flash" any partitions other than just "fastboot update"
Note : I've tried creating an update.zip from the stock software built like a rom, and also built like an update package. But nothing seems to work. I get one of two errors back,
Either : no android info.text or Failed! Remote cmd not allowed.
The device will not boot to any other mode or screen regardless of the button sequence used during boot. Except for the button sequence that is supposed to boot the device into "fastboot rescue mode". Using it's button sequence is the only time I see the Huawei boot logo screen before it goes right back into the " rescue mode" (which is basically the same as "fastboot rescue mode") I've tried getting the stock Huawei Hisuite software on my PC to recognize it and use its restore tool but it sees the device but won't download the software package and restore it. Because it says it can't find phone software info. I assume that's what it needs to see to know which bootloader and software the phone is on to download and install the proper OS.
Any help is greatly appreciated....

and after reboot.. this happend to my cell.. [screenshot attached]
I think I mistakenly formatted the partition of my cell..
I would be so grateful if u sort it out... Thanx
I have the same problem. I have emailed Huawei and they don't respond. I tried to read some of the Chinese forums and I don't think there is a fix. Very little support for MT7-L09.
If you have unlocked bootloader
Flash system, user data, cust, boot, recovery via fastboot and when it's finished write what happened. To take this file use update extractor app

Huawei has a problem bro... I also went to their customer support centre, when I told them that this happened to my phone, they straight away said; "You have to change its whole motherboard, and it will cost almost 250 US$". Very strange. I know they have the solution for this but they dont own. Its very simple, they only have to re-write the "OS", which they dont. Its very bad...

They are **** programmers. I have been rooting phones for several years and I've never had so many problems. On every other phone I have had, it was very simple to flash or reflash roms.....this is ridiculous.

As per your instructions, I flash, recovery, cust, boot and userdata via fastboot... [screenshot of system.img] attached.
Everything went fine and flashed correctly but same [RESCUE MODE ASCEND MATE 7 screenshot] happened... And after simultaneously pressing three buttons, this happened [fastboot.png screenshot].
Phone is not booting.

I've started another thread a while ago on this very issue. No one could figure it out. Still no fix. And like you said how can we restore using TWRP when we can't boot to anything but "rescue mode" and "fastboot mode". We have no recovery. No matter what we flash it either tells us " remote cmd not allowed" or it flashes like it worked then still nothing.
I've flashed, updated , and done everything I think I can possibly do to fix this but its still dead in the water. I think the partition tables are messed up ( size, allocation, implementation order) that's causing this. Only thing I can think of. Hence why we can flash a recovery but it doesn't know the booting order or sequence to boot to a recovery. And why we can flash a ROM and not boot. But this is ridiculous that Huawei won't help. This is what's keeping me from the Nexus 6P for fear the same could happen on it.
Hello, I purchased a used Mate 8 a few days ago and I can not get it to update to EMUI 5.0 (Currently on 4.0), I believe it is because of the C900 build number instead of C432, How may i fix this?
There are also other problems however...
The phone will not let me flash anotherupdate.app via the dload method
The phone will not boot into TWRP, just hangs on "Your device is booting now..."
Flashing Recovery, boot, system and cust.img using fastboot makes the device hang on "youre device is booting now..." and if i relock the
bootloader it hangs on the huawei logo
Huawei eRecovery fails, the phone only works with the NXT-L29C900B192 firmware
If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated, I dont mind flashing anything in order to try and fix this
did you unlock your bootloader and oem lock?
Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-N910C met Tapatalk
I have finally locked my bootloader. After many failed attempts, I've realized doing the next:
Flash a Stock Firmware (most probably an old version)
Boot it and apply all system updates.
Reboot into Bootloader
Run fastboot oem lock
Boot noramlly
and in fastboot mode you have oem_locked or flashing_locked?

I got flashing locked after I did...
And before that, I was able to unlock and lock the bootloader without a problem. Yesterday something strange happened. I entered fastboot mode, you unlocked the bootloader because I can't flash the stock on locked, I installed the latest version from the August patch and strange things started to happen. After starting the phone and entering the updates, I have information about the patch from August, but it also says that the integrity of the software has been compromised and I will not get updates. It is written that I would like to contact the service center to re-program the device. So I went into fastboot again and threw the June patch version. But now I have a situation that. I can not lock the bootloader because when I do it with the fastboot OEM lock command, the phone does not start and gets a message that the device is damaged. Only after unlocking the bootloader can I start the phone.

Its nothing. You first need to flash stock ROM from fastboot and then when your ROM normally.
You now need to have Lenovo rescue tool installed on your sytem. After skipping initial setup in stock ROM,
attach your phone to computer and open Lenovo rescue tool. It will ask for permissions. From there you need to go to rescue option. Once there, the tool itself going to guide you. It will now download the latest stock ROM. Have some patience. Once downloaded just let it flash the stock ROM.
After it finishes flashing and your phones boot to stock ROM. Just go to fastboot again and relock bootloader again. This should work now.

How to do it? I have the same probelm and some extra ones too(OEM unlocking not turned on and usb debugging is off).
Re-flash Stock ROM. Then enable USB-Debugging and OEM-unlock. Afterwards you can apply all the mods you want.
