Anyone else get this e-mail from LG to review the v10 and win a $500.00 gift card and 360° Rotating Extendable Mini Tripod?
One of these types?

Yes I got one this afternoon, left a review and checked the box to be entered to win the $500 gift card. The rest was somewhat ambiguous and never did mention the tripod nor that I was going to receive one for fitting the criteria. Said being simple, first 500 reviews on the LG site qualify. Hoping that the link from my email which splintered off quickly into a less specific or indirect route to leaving the review doesn't mean I'm dense and missed a little something along the way. The tripod would be killer. I will not complain though as LG has done awesome by me so far with the battery/sdcard promo. Sure beats Samsung's offers to give me 30% off of accessories if I purchased through their site.
I got the email as well. I did write a review, got an email to confirm the review but when I click the link it just takes me to the my product page....not sure if it worked or not as it does not show any reviews posted. Oh well, I tried.

exactly, couldn't agree more
I had the same experience as a couple of you guys above. Posted the review and nothing else. I did notice right after posting that it said the review needed to be moderated and that would take a couple of days. It would be nice to get the tripod, but even so I legit love this phone.
My review is now up on the LG site
Like many of you, I wrote a review of the V10 so as to enter the sweepstakes and, more important, to get the tripod. Just noticed today that my review is up on the LG website.
However, I have not gotten any notification from LG about the tripod or the sweepstakes. My experience is that LG can be a bit slow in following up. But people have been able to get them to move faster by calling customer support. I don't plan on doing so myself.

Great media-centered smart phone
Bought the phone as soon as it came out in the US. A definite upgrade on my previous Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Things I like: -Dedicated DAC and amp to drive high-end headphones -Expandable memory, which is becoming a rarer option these days -Replaceable battery, also becoming harder to find -Second screen. It's much more useful than I thought it would be: e.g. being able to turn on the flashlight without having to go through a bunch of menus -Capable processor: there are faster ones. But I've not had any issues with stuttering

lovely, thanks
Early last week out of the blue I received my tripod from LG. I was never able to confirm that my review was even on the LG site but true to form they (LG) generously came through on another promo item. Lots of appreciation for the way they treat their customers.

This may be a winner....Ima scoop one up just to check it out.
wow that looks really good, it even comes WITH a Battery! hmmm tempted.... nice to have a spare battery but so far these days my battery lasts me the whole day which is all i need... always a good idea to have a spare though
I'm not certain whether that offer is really outstanding...
The battery is sold seperately for 7-8 USD (shipped), the charger is one of those that you'll get for almost nothing. That leaves 18-20 USD for the Dock.
Not too expensive for a dock but for this amount I'll think twice about a purchase.

By all means, if you can find another horizontal dock that looks like it will fit nicely with the G2 + an extra slot to charge an additional battery please...post away.
1 Month of delivery kills it..
"Delivery:
Estimated between Fri. Dec. 10 and Thu. Dec. 23"
By Dec 10 there will be cheaper docks online or from your local stores.
no offense.. but it looks poorly made..
Check out the thread from the Desire-Z forum, looks like the same dock you purchased:

I held off on ordering one after hearing his feedback on it... Hopefully they have some more selection in the next few weeks.
I still haven't gotten anything yet (lol why would anyone say no offence, I didn't design it, just stated it was the only one I have seen)
Looks like the last post in the post you posted has a good one, he seems to like it, may try that one...still a couple days till pay day lol

It showed up today! I will post more later, but everything works fine. Get it with confidence.
Battery goes in upsidedown (versus what the stock battery looks like. Still 1300 mAh.
Base doesn't lean back as much as I thought it would. This definitely works with the T-Mobile HTC G2. Using the battery right now. Used the dock to charge same battery and connect to the computer to download the photos.
you rock man, thanks
#notworthit
do you think the phone would fit in the dock with that clip-on plastic case?

Na I dont think so it seems to be pretty flush against the dock itself

Hi all,
So yesterday after the Wireless Orb showed up on the play store, I noticed some more accessories showing up next to the bumper and orb (only under the 16GB Nexus 4 section).
The links did not go anywhere but this is what was showing up for me (up until about 2-3 PM yesterday:

These accessory prices are eerily similar to Apple's.
The headphones look nice, but they should of came with the phone lol

I'd rather have the cheaper phone. Bundled headphones are always crap. Give me a cheaper phone and I'll source my own headphones.
Looks like the same headphone from here

Makes sense, it is an LG sourced phone after all.
I am really happy that LG is taking being a Nexus partner seriously. Samsung sucked at it despite getting 3 stabs at it. They didnt give a damn about the Nexus S or the Galaxy Nexus despite even getting thier stupid little moniker on the device name. Also, they still havent produced any accessories for the Nexus 10.
LG, on the other hand, made a superior phone and appears to be making a real effort to keep up stock and source accessories.

As per the original post, the links never went anywhere, and this only showed up for me for about 3-4 hours yesterday afternoon, I can no longer see them when browsing the play store, however these are the links that were attached to the items.
Iv been doing some digging and it turns out that the headphones in the picture in the OP are in fact the LG optimus G/ LG Quad Beat.
http://rageworx.tistory.com/1324
Or search LG Quadbeat. I think they are currently only being sold in South Korea, (Lucky which is where i am atm)
Also selling for 18.800 Won which is about £11.10p
I've had the HTC One E8 for just over a week now and I am thoroughly impressed. The device has a premium display and chip-set at a mid-grade price. The curved edges of the poly-carbonate (plastic) back plate makes this device easy to hold without losing its visual appeal. On the back you will also find a 13 MP camera with a single tone flash. The face of the phone contains a 5 MP Selfie camera, 5” HD display, and two front facing speakers. The “Boomsound” front facing speakers can push out a great deal of sound without losing any sound quality.

Another amazing feature of this phone is Sprint Spark. If you have not had a chance to try out Spark you might be blown away by the data speeds you will see. This was my first time trying out Spark and I could not believe how much faster it is then my cable internet speeds. Check out Spark availability in your area.

How is the phone after a few weeks of usage?
How is the battery life?
What is the Android version on it? Did it get 4.4.3?

The battery life is pretty good and typically lasts me the entire day. Also good to know that I am always playing with it so you might get way better battery life then I do. The US Sprint version comes pre-loaded with Android 4.4.2.

I have had my phone for a few days, and I have to say that I am impressed with the quality of this device for the price I paid.
Sound/speed is much better than my old Galaxy S3.
Multitasking is a snap, and I kind of like the HTC Sense UI.
Thinking of rooting this device, have you had the chance to root yet?

Running smooth, and yes , a great phone overall...

I'm interested in being apart in reviewing this product. but its not letting me sign up and share the link.
Interested and shared the link
Also interested and shared link, as well! I love portable charging devices. Makes things a lot easier
I am very interested in becoming a reviewer for the CulCharge PowerBank, I have signed up and shared the link. I read through the campaign and think this is a very innovative and life changing idea, having a powerbank right on my keys would be a life saver for me and a lot of others as well.
I'm interested. Pretty excited to help out!
Definitely interested in this. Looking forward to it.
I would LOVE to try this out. I was just telling my wife about it the other day. I have a larger power block that I take on trips, but having something that could just clip onto my keys would be great. I also love that it functions as a USB cable when I need to hook my phone to my computer.
My only concern is this: Will the micro USB attachment work if I have a case on my phone? It almost looks too short to deal with any significant case on the phone.
Hey, I'm interested.
Shared the link, let me know.
It's been about 10 minutes since I went through the steps and I'm still not seeing the confirmation email in my inbox or in my junk mail. What can I do if I don't receive it?
ETA: Never mind. It finally arrived. The internet is a strange and mysterious thing at times.
Count me in. Thanks

Hi S6 Edge+ Users,
We are seeking honest and comprehensive feedback from real Samsung users of our cases for the Galaxy S6 Edge+. We are turning to XDA because members of XDA are more knowledgeable than the average user, and we know from reading your posts that you know how to scrutinize products and share your opinions.
For those interested in helping us out, we will provide a product sample of one of our Prestige Folio cases. There are only a limited number of samples that have been allotted to this program. If you are interested, please post a reply and send me a PM. Participants will be selected on a first come, first serve basis, dependent on meeting requirements mentioned below and once supplies run out, this offer will be closed.
If you are selected, you will be sent a case for your evaluation. This is not a give-away or promotion. We need people who are willing to follow through. We would like to get your initial feedback (first impressions) within 2 weeks of receipt and a follow up evaluation 4 to 8 weeks later would be greatly appreciated. If you are not willing to take the time to give us a thorough evaluation, please do not apply.
We are seeking members that meet the following requirements:
• Are actual owners of the S6 Edge+
• Reside in the continental U.S.
• Have at least 50 posts
• Have at least 5 thanks
• Have been a member for at least 1 year
Please let us know which style and color (when applicable) you prefer. (We cannot guarantee that your sample will be the specific model or color you request, but we will do our best to match your preference.)

I would be willing to test out. I believe I meet all of the required criteria. Will send a PM! Forgot to say gray or black prefferable. Thanks!
I would definitely be interested in reviewing a case! I have a RooCase on my Nexus 7 tablet so I'm familiar with your products! Would probably prefer a black case to go with my gold S6 Edge+!!
great
I would definitely be interested in giving a thorough evaluation/video review of your case design and features. I lurk very often on XDA and am constantly looking for ways to improve my experience with my phone and hope to share that improvement with others. Let me know if you are interested in having another tester for your product and I would be willing to test a wide array of situations, such as wireless charging and the magnetic latch. I would prefer Option 1 in black to match my sapphire Black phone.
All the best,
Drew
I'm definitely interested
I believe I fit all the requirements except maybe the thanks-o-meter. But I have the added experience with writing and editing technical articles and columns for a desktop publishing magazine back in the 90s. Let me know how I can help.
I would like to give this Folio case a try, thanks!
I waited a month and the case still did not arrive!
Didn't receive mines either. Maybe the offer is off the table now. I don't know...
I received the case today! Will share a review soon!
I just got my edge + yesterday I'd like to review the black or pink one
