Xposed framework compatibility issue - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am running nexus 5 5.0 stock along with elementalx kernel.
I installed xposed installer from play store and then using twrp tried flashing the framework. The log stated installation to be successful.
But when I open up xposed installer app below is the image which shows the issue.

Xposed for versions later than Kitkat 4.4.4 isn't that easy to install. You'll have to find the appropriate zip and flash it through recovery, the installer app will not work. Make sure you uninstall it before flashing.
Besides, how did you install it from the Play Store if it isn't available there?

Do you use TWRP? If so use the built in file manager to delete the apk from system apps folder and reinstall latest version from xposed.

look for Sense5Toolbox.apk - thats what you want to update - not xposed!
So now when I xposed xposed update in the app so the framework should yes then the phone reboot but with the option that is the app included. That would be then start new software and device reboot. So when I re-start device selected is not permited and if I reboot software anwähle it comes true after I updated the framework. But after the restart when I get in for a chop modules sit back and Neustar anwähle remains the phone hang boot process while the. And I turn it off then and after I back up drive is back I will update the framework.

Xposed on 5.0.1

Has anyone had success installing xposed framework on the m8 running a stock rooted lollipop rom? I have tried multiple times following the guide in the xposed thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811 with no success.
It worked for me on adrenaline 2.1 but not on a couple of other roms I tried.

What were the steps you took to install it?
I opened xsposed installer >framework > reboot. I only downloaded a couple of modules but they work.

I downloaded the files from the link I posted above..
Install the xposed installer .apk
Reboot from within the installer and grant root privileges.
Flash the framework via TWRP
I have also tried to flash the framework first, install the .apk, and reboot from within the installer to grant root.
Neither way has worked for me.

I have it running on stock rooted, here are the steps I took.
Flashed the xposed arm zip file in TWRP
Installed the 3.0 alpha2 apk
Once installed I went into "framework" and hit soft reboot.
Once the phone was done I installed a module/made it active and soft reboot again.
I don't think you have to take these exact same steps but this is just what I did following a YT video. In "framework" it always says "Installation is only possible maunally via recovery for now." in red letters. That confused me into thinking it was not installed properly but all the modules I'm using are working fine.

I have tried to install this exact same way. After flashing the framework and installing the alpha .apk, I activated greenify and rebooted.
Upon launching greenify, I saw a yellow dialogue box that said auto hibernation service has stopped (auto hibernation worked fine before trying to use xposed) I attempted to enable the xposed features and a screen popped up telling me to install the xposed framework.
I have since restored my nand backup I made before flashing xposed, and greenify is back to auto hibernating, just cant use the xposed features.

Have you tried installing other modules? Looking around the greenify sections here on XDA seems it wasn't ready for 5.0, but there is a beta thread that you may want to take a look at.

I just found that beta thread, and I am now trying to install xposed again.
I also tried Xsense, and did not have any luck.
What modules are you using? I will activate them and test.

Currently I'm using
Sense 6 lockscreen mods (LP)
Sense 6 Toolbox beta (to find the beta you have to change your settings, open the module in xposed/scroll all the way right to settings/change to "beta")
YouTube AdAway
YouTube Background Playback

I reinstalled xposed, and updated greenify to beta 11. I also installed Sense 6 Toolbox beta. Everything seems to be working just fine.
My problem was using modules that were not updated to work with lollipop. Thanks for all your help!

How to install Xposed in C2305?

I installed the iSiddharth Lollipop ROM of Xperia C well it actually changes the basic layout like menu, lockscreen, settings but can't use to install lollipop required apps(it shows 5.0.1 though). Now I went for xposed installation, downloaded a zip and flash it but nothing happens then found another zip flashed it over previous one (because of no backup) and it worked I updated framework to latest version and was able to install all apps. None was working. I tried installing Youtube background play, instagram zoom and download, 1 click video downloader.Activated all and reboot the phone and no effect of any app. So I uninstall all of them and removed the xposed using system app uninstaller(as I had no backup). After all this I need to know is there any simple working way to installed xposedI was unable to download xposed modules of lollipop

Xposed on Original Tablet after 4.2 update

My caring and loving wife updated my tablet for me while I was at work. Now I don't have xposed. I already reflashed TWRP and have root with SuperSU but any time I flash Xposed it acts like it doesn't exist. All the framework files are there but it doesn't show in the app drawer.
I have tried both 86 and 85 with no success and no errors show up when installing.
Anything more I can answer but I am out of ideas to try.
So... I just did some digging on the Xposed XDA forums like I should have a while ago. I did not realize that you have to install the xposed installer app in order to manage modules and the framework. When I last did Xposed I only had to flash the zip from recovery and it installed the app for me.
If anyone needs the link, here you go. Just download the attached file and install on your tablet.

You don't need Lineage for stock/rootable/hackable/adaptable Android

The Planet Computers ROM is pretty much bone stock, but with the improvements that allow the Gemini to function like a phone.
Right now I'm rooted with TWRP and running Xposed modules no problem, and it's about as stock an experience as you can get. You're able to use Gravity Box, etc with no issues whatsoever. The Xposed you need is arm64 sdk25 and the rooted boot-verified.img is provided on Planet Computers' website.
All you need to do is:
Flash stock rom with replaced rooted boot-verified.img through FlashTool
Boot ROM and enable USB Debugging
Throw MagiskManager apk, Xposed apk, Xposed flashable zip on internal storage
Install MagiskManager in Android
Turn off phone and flash TWRP through FlashTool
Boot to recovery (hold down power button and Gemini assist button as phone boots until TWRP appears, then release)
Flash Xposed through TWRP
Reboot phone and install Xposed Installer apk
Profit
Lineage is nice, but unless Gemini fails to update in a timely manner and we can get newer and complete builds from flashing Lineage, I'm going to stick with this process.
Is it possible to remove the gapps and google libs with that process?

I managed to remove Browser, Chrome (these two browsers need to go together) , Hangouts, Duo, Keep, Youtube adn several others through Titanium Backup on rooted android with TWRP and Magisk, os I think so. I mainly went for applications cluttering the Play store, but I think may more can be removed. some might be crucial though.
Is it possible to root WIFI only device using the same procedure?
That is by replacing rooted boot-verified.img in the firmware and reflashing?
