New vision, new project

Hello all guys, first of all I am new here so if I am going wrong somewhere please correct me.
As we all know XDA is full of great & contributing developers but as long as i can see this power of XDA speaded so my main aim is concentrating this power to a unified direction towards something good:angel:
So please read full thread and try to understand.
As we all know there are man famous ROM all around androids.(like the famous CYANOGENMOD and its really great) but what about non-rooted device and this also needs a far consideration of PROs & new comers(like me) can't go anywhere with it.
So what i and other newcomers thinking is to get something new which don't need root at all & it should also be able customize phone at best and we can replace it with company app. And if this project succeed then we will also consider to create a new awesome class ROM with it.
So here are some details of this project.
This project will cover all devices(non-rooted and rooted also in some case) from 4.0+ to any other new coming version of Android.
what will we do in this project.
1)Make best apps for basic needs of a phone or any other related task.
now what conditions this app should satisfy?
1)100% accuracy.
2)Light weight.(Should consume minimum RAM)
3)Available for all devices(4.0+ minimum or you an go for more older versions)
4)Should be efficient and good enough to be replaced with company apps(like gallery, camera, calculator etc.)
5)Will not be copy of older versions will be inspired by material design & Android 5.0
6)Having slick & stylish icon( cause first impression is your last impression) & awesome interfaces.
for 6th point developer will be able to take help from this thread for testing on wide range of devices & choosing best icon & interface which most of the users like(because today for developers the only & biggest problem is get to know what his/her users want)
The best example of this kind of apps is AcDisplay(The best yet i see except its available only for 4.4+)
why start with us?
1)You will be able to test it on wide range of device & get best review by other developers also.
2)You will be able to get to know what interaction your app will do with other app(for example camera should be interact with gallery of other developer so it can optimize user experience)
3)Contribute in creating best app packages which can interact direct to non-rooted system & optimize user experience & performance with best looks also(for example CM has best package of File manager, Music player Camera, Gallery etc).
The advantage of this over CM will be is it will be able to work with any non rooted device(4.0+ also) & will be totally secure. And having awesome new slick design & will also be well test & debugged.
And if this project will grow good enough then we will also be able we can also start thinking about making XDA's own app store.
Some guys might think that : Ok, thats quite good enough but where should we start?
So here are some suggetions to start with.
1)File Manager(CM File manager non -rooted & well tested for RAM & functioning efficiency)
2)Apollo 2.0(with new awesome icon cause the old one is not that good yet and free from some bugs)
3)Gallery (A new one with awesome perfomance & inteface with hide option(to hide some secret photos ) and non-lagging user experience)
4)Camera( with awesome new functionalities provided by CM but also available for non-rooted 4.0+ devices)
5)AcDisplay(well debugged & availabe for 4.0+ also:angel
Thanks for paying attention. Sorry if I am going out of topic of any mistakes(Cause i m really new here)
Questions and suggetions are always well invited.
If it seems to be off topic && non-developer content please wait a week before reporting or closing this thread to see response and what others want.
IF you interested start talking about your project and start sharing and testing from here and give it a head start.
And please response if you agree with this idea cuase i need everyone to join & make it a sensation.
If you age just type agee in reply so it will be update & later on everyone who start watching thread can see here at first.
If you are not agree please sugget here ideas which are needed to improve android experience.
Agree
Yes bro you are right we really need such collection of apps.
I means Google play is great & CM is also great. But Google play is not that good yest as CM & CM requires root. So it will be a great deal if we will be able to get best apps all in one package.
And app store of this great forum by itself will also be a great sensation on android world which also might lead us to new OS made by this forum itself/

Requesting a kernel tutorial thread!

Hi! Just as the name implies, I was curious if any of you kernel wizards could maybe start a thread or even here just share some settings you guys use. I've changed several ROMs and currently using squids kernel but I've never been comfortable messing with the values other then headphone gain. I've usually just flashed preconfigured kernels and left it as is. From what I'm seeing certain changes achieve things like performance gain, battery save etc.. I'd love some thoughts!

Kernel Tweaking Settings (Synapse,3c,Toolkit)

I was hoping to get some feedback on what settings people are using either with Synapse-skyhigh kernel or Kernel Toolkit-Sickness kernel (or 3c,kernel adiutor, etc) and what the goal is of your settings (battery, performance, guessing) and which rom you are using. Like:
Rom/Kernel-
Kernel App-
List of anything changed from default-
Governer-
Battery-
Etc-
Reason for settings- (performance, battery, mixture, etc)
Actual result of settings- (terrible, good battery, bad battery/good performance, etc.
Each time I use either Skyhigh or Sickness I find myself going through synapse or 3c and chicken out on changing anything important looking as I have no idea what repercussions are. I was looking in general forum threads for each but am hoping for a more specific to our device kind of feedback.
I really hope there are several responses with various types of setups as it would GREATLY be appreciated as Im aware the time to respond a setting list is not generally looked forward to but Im also aware any thread I start gets a few replies at the most so to the few or hopefully wide audience I thank you ahead of time. To those that laugh at my no reply result know that I am too.

Custom ROM request for ZTE Quest (Wellington) (N817)

I know according to the system XDA uses I'm still technically a 'new member', but I'm hoping someone can find the time to help me out with this, as I have no PC of my own.
I've already taken kernel optimization and CPU tuning to the greatest length stock can get, but there are still too many periods of lag or unresponsiveness, so I'm looking for a custom ROM to help ease the burden of necessary system tasks on resources.
If someone is able to help, I can provide the firmware for my device.
Thank you in advance if you can.
