Aplication has stopped after installing Project Desire One - Xperia Z5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello.
Today i tried to flash soundmod Project Desire One, The Evolution. Downloaded package from HERE, reboot into recovery, use TWRP to flash this and clear dalvik + cache. After this I get app "My Xperia" stopped and it was showing all the time. I did factory reset on my phone and then i come up with this : LINK DO PICTURE. What i can do ? PC Companion says that I can't repair this phone. I can't use adb, cause phone is after factory reset. I tried be faster than pop-out, but it's impossible.
What should I do ?

Download a firmware for ur device model and flash with flashtool.

Try to ask in this thread maybe someone will help you cause it seems flashtool need an update for the script thing http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920746

I recently updated my FT to 9.19.10 and now when I'm tryin to flash E6633 it stops all the time at "Start Dumping TA partition 1". I'll wait for answer in theyr thread.

Make sure to read the OP cause any mistake can brick your phone.

OK, uninstalled Flashtool with deleting files from C:/Users/xxx/.FlashTool then downloaded 0.9.19.8 and patched it to 0.9.19.10. Flashtool started normally and I sucessful flashed ROM and kernel.
Phone is working now well. Thank's for help

Good to hear.

Bricked x10

Hi, first of all, i know there are lots of post about bricked phones, trust me, i've seen most of them but none of it helped me and i am kind of fraking out. I got a Sony x10 a few weeks ago and I loved it. I upgraded it to Andoird 2.3.3, rooted it, installed xRecovery, etc. But yesterday I tried to install Android ICS, for that I had to unlock bootloader. Read a lot of post and started, and finally used a method which uses kernel downgrade, a batch program and the kernel upgrade, but guess what, it didn't work, couldn't flash kernel upgrade after all. What freaks me out is that I can't install any ftf either, flashtools keeps showing ERROR - ERR_SEVERITY="MAJOR";ERR_CLASS="SECURITY_CLASS";ERR_DYNAMIC="SIN header verification failed". Tried using update service, tried with many ftf files and flashtools. Nothing happens. Phone just vibrates a little bit longer than normal when I turn it on and nothing else. It also turn the green led on when connecting to the charger and flash mode seems to work.
I am desperate, I had to do a lot to get a phone like this and now it doesn't even boot with the SE logo. Thanks and I hope someone has the solution.
I forgot to put this:

complete log, saved when trying to flash stock 2.3.3 firmware
That one should be easy to solve When you choose an ftf file to flash in firmware selection window you have to check "No final verification". That worked for me
P.S. also try to post your threads in the right section
brick
u must try another flash tool the older version
U read a lots, but why didnt u unlock using flashtool plugins? It's easier.

So I have a Xperia M C1905 nicki.

And basically nothing happens...
I did a factory reset. After that tried to flash .zip stock 4.3 rom and got the error from TWRP:
E: Error executing updater binary in *insert .zip name here*
Did a bit of research and found that I need to flash the firmware to fix that, and since I can't do that through flashtool for some reason, I wanted to ask if someone has the solution or can help me with this problem (My phone is like a brick with twrp and being able to go in to fastboot/flashmode)?
Thanks for your time spent reading this.

I think it's due to the bug of 0.9.23.1. download the patch for 0.9.23.2 from flashtool.net and it will be fine. you have only to replace the x10flasher.jar and restart flashtool.

try to redone the steps taken with the phone selected under phone selection before flashing the firmware. If the problem still exist then turn your phone to fastboot mode and flash the system.img of the corresponding firmware. In your case the mm firmware of your choice turn back to flashmode again to flash the whole firmware ftf. Only if you have preserved the folder of the firmware once you downloaded the firmware using xperifirm before creating a bundle in the flashtool.

you meant system.sin because no file with name system.img inside ftf(unzip) folder
there is a suggested solution to delete loader.sin from ftf(zip) firmware then flash it, anyone agree with that?

Ill try to upload later once i came bavk home after work I'm at work right just starting.

I've deleted my phones OS. Please help if you can.

Hello,
I've rooted phones before and never had a problem.
Following the guide on here, I installed TWRP and proceeded to root, I must have taken my eye of the ball as TWRP is saying that no OS is installed. When I reboot I just get a Sony logo.
I managed to locate a stock UK rom in .ftf format but cant install it as flashtool doesnt see it.
Can anyone point me to a zip that I could install through TWRP?
With maybe a few helpful pointers
OR if you could tell me how best to reload the firmware.
Thanks.
Just to add, this is the F3111
First off you might want to take a look at this guide. Just make sure you're following the steps.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/general/tutorial-how-to-flash-stock-roms-t2240614
If you still have trouble then reply and I'll try help find an alternative
Thankyou, Ive just follewed that guide but its still the same..
Ive been working on this for hours and have come a little closer.
Downloaded a folder from Xperifirm, I cannot convert this into a ftf as when I select to point flash tool to it, it doesnt see it.
I also downlaoded the TFT firmware file from an xperia website but that starts off the flashing process by sayin this ;
05/049/2017 13:49:45 - ERROR - root : this bundle is not valid

It then invites me to connect the phone in flashing mode which I do. then it says this..

This all happens in seconds, then it just sits there..
I only wanted to root it to get a sound boost, feel like a bit of a clown now.
Also just to add that in order to get it to attempt to flash I have to use version 09.18 of flashtool as the latest version only sees the ftf file as 'xperia' and will not attempt to flash it.
Forget everything I said.
It's sorted, after a day of headache I spotted the little blue arrow on flash tool that allows you to expand the folder structure., that then enables you to point to the firmware file.
I dont have root, but that can wait for another day..
Cheerio

What i need to do for flash MM or unlock the bootloader?
You don't need to downgrade to MM to install 8.0 and to unlock your bootloader go to the Sony website and follow the instructions but don't forget to backup your TA partition first you will need to search XDA to see how to do that.
You need to downgrade to MM to backup TA partition thou.
Error is "No flash script".
Did you press no when the prompt come out?
If you download from Xperia firm, you need to redownload it again, then exit, flashtool will ask to run the script or not, press yes.
got the same problem. can anybody help? cant do TA Backup otherwise.

this solution for people trying to get Android 7 worked for me, getting the flash script for MM!
Are you using the last flashtools version (0.9.23.2)? The best firmware to backup your TA keys is 39.0.A.1.250.... The firmware that are you trying to flash is not able to make your TA backup. After that you must unlock the bootloader with flashtools ( the app send you the sony site with tutorial ). After that you should be able to flash the Android 8 images. It's better flash Twrp too... I hope helped you.
