Hello,
I am trying to unlock my bootloader but I get an error "Your device does not qualify for bootloader unlocking.".
What am I supposed to do? I must unlock the bootloader to root it and install another ROM.
Would appreciate your help.

i saw in threads that bootloader unlock allowed : no means we cant unlock bootloader but is it normal that on sony website they give the unlock key? like i put my imei there and they give me the unlock key but in fastboot oem unlock command it says
FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)
finished. total time: 0.054s
I ran into a rare situation on an old Xperia tablet that said the same thing but had twrp installed. But with your situation u could be looking at a paper weight if u try to flash anything. It's hard to say though. Usually bootloader unlock: no means don't flash or u get brick. Does it say bootloader unlock or unlocked? You also have to realize that just because u get a key doesn't mean u can unlock. An imei doesn't mean much except verify it's a Sony phone
