Hello,
I am running Android Android 5.1.1 on my Sony Xperia Z3 (stock). But I can not play any kind of video. No Facebook, Snapchat, Youtube ect. I tried a factory reset and I installed Sony's version of stock Android, but the probleem wont go away. Is here someone with te same problem? Or someone who had this problem, and know how to fix it?
I love to hear from you. The bug really annoys me!

Hello,
I've got an Xperia L and have the latest firmware installed (15.0.a.2.17). No issues so far except that I've noticed the phone only plays a few seconds of a Live Channel in YouTube then freezes. I've tried with and without the YouTube update.
All other YouTube videos that are played are totally fine. It is just ANY Live Channel in YouTube...it just doesn't work. It'd be nice to know if anyone else is having this problem.

try to clear the cache and the data from the app menu. and then play live channels. It should work. i guess
Thanks for replying but that doesn't do anything. I've now updated to firmware 15.3.A.0.26 and the issue persists.
The only thing that works is if I downgrade to an older firmware like 15.0.A.1.31 or 15.0.A.1.36.
I'd just like to know if others have the same problem. Can anyone with an Xperia L please try playing a Live Channel in YouTube for more than 60 seconds and see if it freezes? The issue is with firmware 15.0.A.2.17 and newer...at least for me it is.
Hey,
I updated to Android 5.0.2 with CM 12. I'm using the Nightly "cm-12-20150118-NIGHTLY". I can't play any videos inside the gallery or in several other video players like VLC. I can use MxMedia Player, because it's using a custom softwaredecoder (I think so). Is there any way to fix this? I found users that have the similar problem but no solution.

I've got the same exact problem. I'm guessing there's a codec missing but I'm not sure what package (or Google App) will provide it.

If anyone comes across this, I found the answer for me. I enabled "NuPlayer" under "Developer options." All my videos recorded in the gallery now play.
BTW - I hadn't really worried about this until recently since I always used MxPlayer which played everything anyway.
Good luck and please let me know if it works for you. Cheers!
Currently running stock, un-rooted CM12.0-YNG1TAS2I3.

Hi
Since I installed Android L I have video glitches. At first I thought it was because of Android L, but since then I installed Android 5.0, 5.01 and now 5.1 and still have the same glitches.
So I can't watch any videos in Youtube or within apps like games. I tried to change it in the developer settings to AwesomePlayer, but still had the same glitches and I tried it with offline videos also.
Does anyone know about this issues? Could it be a hardware failure?
Thanks

Hello from Greece! I am facing an issue after installing the latest software update ( MIUI 12.1.1.0) on my Xiaomi Mi note 10 lite. I am using a payable app for streaming sports and movies (Cosmote Tv) and the problem (which I didn't have before the update) is that while watching, at any video quality, the video lags, like it doesn't have a continuous flow. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, didn't work. I tried to reset the phone to factory settings, didn't work. I contacted the provider, they couldn't help me..I am a bit upset because I use this app every day. Could you kindly suggest a solution for me? Could you perhaps help me restore a previous MiUi software edition; Thank you very much, looking forward to hear from you!

Usually the problems of lag with those apps are not coming from your device but from their end. It's maybe time to find an alternative app
