I have been experiencing much confusion regarding unlocking the bootloader of my Mate 8. Form member ajsmsg78 provided a link to the official Huawei bootloader unlock website but the link is dead for me. I would appreciate if someone could share a working link from that site and also a detailed guide of what drivers I will need in order to connect my Mate 8 to my windows 10 PC.

Google for DC Unlocker, follow instructions and pay 4€ to get unlock code.

huawei didn't sent some u8950-1 owners bootloader unlock code so our devices are still locked,unrooted and without CWM.
i think according to other unlocked u8950-1 device it is possible to provide some way to unlock u8950-1 bootloaders just like that offline way for u8950d that is available over the internet.(a small update file that remove bootloader lock fast and easy on u8950d b949 firmware)
so if anybody is able to solve this problem please help us.:good:

I received my unlock code within 48hours from Huawei,,
and today I rooted my phone G600..

I've receive my unlock code for about 20 hrs and follow instructions on this forum to unlock and root my g600 with no problem at all

all ppl who have bought this phone in iran , have the same problem with getting unlock code from huawei . there is sth wrong with s/n that are available in iran . i have sent them my s/n and imei several times but still no success !!!!

You Should Of Gotten A Picture Of Ur Bootloader Code. Man, Ur Too Late, Now, You Gotta Pay Money Just To Get Bootloader Code.
Hello everyone
I got my Huawei P20 Pro 6/64 CLT-AC01 today in the mail.
It is locked to Chinese region, and doesn't has any of the gapps installed.
I looked for several hours through the forum and on Google today, and I can't find any way to flash a different region ROM to it (often referred to as Debranding)
Also, I read that Huawei canceled the option to unlock the bootloader - I tried it on several ways today and got to a 404 on the unlock page.
Could someone tell me how do I change the region of the device to a normal international one?

Yours is uncommon one indeed. 90-99% P20 Pro out there is 6/128GB, yet you have 6/64
I talked to Huawei support in 3 countries.
They refuse to supply me with an unlock code and it looks like i'm stuck with this device
You probably got either a early test device or a fake one.

I was in the same situation, same model of phone, two weeks ago but I had luck getting the unlock code the last day. When the unlocked bootloader I could debrand the phone following the guide in this forum. As they won't give the unlock code, your only option is funky or dc-unlocker when they support the phone. Also I found an indian guy that maybe could do it, his webpage is called ministry of solutions . But I don't know if it is reliable.

I got the code through the EMUI webpage (which doesn't work now because of Huawei's decission)

Yes, It is possible.
I unlocked bootloader of my phone on 06.06.2020. Huawei website doesn't work but dc_unlock2 tool works but tou have to buy credits for it from a play store app of it. There are many good youtube vides explaining that.

There was a time where you could request bootloader unlock code from huawei offical website without using money, but then they removed it. There are now services where you get the bootloader codes of huawei devices, but it may cost money.
