[Q] How to root Galaxy S duos

Hi everyone,
I have a galaxy s duos and I want to root it, please tell me how to root it i have updated my phone to the latest version.
Sent from my GT-S7562 using xda app-developers app

Please, do this:
1. Install Samsung drivers, you've already got it if you installed Kies
2. www - unlockroot - com
3. Download page > UnlockRoot Pro (FREE download)
5. Run UnlockRoot
6. On your phone activate USB Debug and Unknown Sources
7. Plug the USB cable to your phone and wait a few secconds so it can be recognized (15/30s)
8. Hit the Root buttom and select your phone device (do not install the battery crapware)
9. Wait... And you're done : )
Now go the Play Store and search for SuperSu, which was installed by UnlockRoot and update it before running it.
Once updated, run the SuperSu app and it will install/update the binaries:
- Choose the Normal process if you're on stock Rom.
That's it mate. And if you find that usefull, like many other software/apps, do support the developers.
This one works for Galaxy S Duos GT-S7562 and GT-S7562L as far as I know.

And as there are many Brazilians and people from Portugal with it, here it is it in Portuguese:

7. Plugue o cabo USB ao telefone e aguarde alguns segundos pra que ele seja reconhecido (15/30s)
8. Clique em Root, selecone seu telefone (Não instale o aplicativo de bateria que ele sugere)
9. Aguarde... E feito : )
Acesse o Play Store e pesquise por SuperSu, o qual foi instalado pelo UnlockRoot, e atualize-o antes de rodar o app.
Uma vez atualizado, rode o SuperSu e ele instalará/atualizará os binários:
- Escolha o modo normal se estiver usando o Rom (sistema operativo do telefone) original.
Funciona em ambos os GT-S7562 e GT-S7562L.

can you boot to bootloader? If you have bootloader access still you can flash a factory image. If you have no bootloader you're without any options at the moment, until we either get QPST to work with this phone, or get some of motorola's official flashing tools. The only other option beyond that is if we can get @AdamOutler to get the unbrickable mod to work for moto g3

Hello Hellynton! Welcome to the community, I'll see if I can help you out with this issue.
First of all, xt1543 is a Latin American / Brazillian version, so I'll rewrite this answer in portuguese at the end (could be better to translate between spanish and portuguese than english in google translator).
I got an issue with one update too and my phone only stays on boot logo and I solved with these steps below:
Download the original firmware for your phone from this Thread
If you use windows, download the USB Drivers from motorola website
Download mfastboot-v2 and follow the recovery instructions from this Thread

Tive problemas com uma das atualizações também no meu telefone (é um xt1543 2GB BR) ele ficava apenas no logotipo de boot e resolvi o problema com os passos abaixo:

The big problem is the same, I can not get into Bootloaderer screen.
Ie the mobile screen is all black more when I connect it to the PC it recognizes but can not execute any command ADB Fastboot.
Is there any solution to this problem?
By the way, the phone is locked Bootloader!

If you have no bootloader acces you have no options at this time. Sorry.

Several users have this problem. Some got the phone back to warranty successfully. I suggest to send it back to Motorola.

DOOGEE S86 softbricked

Hello, today i bought DOOGEE S86 brand new.
I tried to root it, but with S86 PRO files.
Now i bricked my phone, and it's stuck in bootloop. I cant open fastboot, or anything else. It just loops between power off and logo.
I can't find firmware or anything else on internet.
Did someone had problem like me, and if, how can I get it fixed.
I live in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and there is no support for DOOGEE phones.
I hope to get some answer, and wishing you all good luck.

Request phone's Stock ROM from OEM and re-flash it when got.

Update:
I recovered my device.
I sent email request to DOOGEE, and they staff send me firmware files.
I believe DOOGEE is going right way in costomer service.

I have the same problem with my S96. I have downloaded the software. But in the SmartPhone Multi-port download tool I have the failure: "(1)COM Ports number repetitive or invalid" and "(2) Brom and preloader have the same comport number!"
Do have any advice??

When upgrading the firmware, please do not select the "format all + download" option

Hello. Could someone help on installing TWRP on the Ulefone Armor X10 Pro ??
I have installed / used TWRP in my ZUK Z2, so I am not entirely new to rooting, but I don't know fully the process, for example if TWRP needs to be programmed / compiled for this specific device for it to work.

Yes! Each phone has your own TWRP.
For ROOT process you not need TWRP. Use boot.img from stock firmwware and follow instructions in the Magisk thread.

Use/Search any video in the YT about: Read Back with Smarth Phone Flash Tool (SPFT). But you need scatter file and that in the stock firmware..........
So you can search in the Ulefone official site about stock firmware because you need have your onw firmware Build Number and the boot.img file is in that. If not have for your phone you can ask Ulefone or wait for that.

So my final advice is for you to ask/write to Ulefone official assistance to get the official firmware download link. The site you mention is very complicated in terms of security and reliability. You even have to pay for everything there.
Therefore, it is best to contact the Ulefone staff and wait a little while to have security and the firmware coming from a safe/official source.

I am in contact with ulefone support, but at first they replied to me saying there's no updated firmware for the device, so in my understanding they are saying they only release phone firmware when it's an update. I've replied to them, now waiting.
