Hellos,
A little over 2 weeks now, I accidentally deleted all my files with TWRP Recovery and didn't make a back up to my files so I used other forums to try to get the system again so what I got from it was that I had to use Odin to get it back, so I did and my phone worked again, which was a great relief, however, ( HERE'S THE PROBLEM), two days ago I turned my phone on and saw that I had no service, at first I thought it was locked, but it wasn't, now every time I turn my phone on it says invalid Sim Card and it has a red cross in the service tab on top. But the weird thing is that the IMEI is correct, but when I want to back up my EFS folder with andromizer it says that the file wasn't found. What can I do to solve this? I didn't know I had to back up my files, EFS Folder nor my IMEI, I didn't even know what they were that's why this is happening, please help. Thank You.

Hello All,
I have a collection of problems in my samsung galaxy gt-s7562 (s duos) android 4.0.4!
Firstly, i dont know why and how this happened but my phone shows my EFS folder to be empty ( through all kinds of browsers ) , but i have everything fine (IMEI , wifi , phone ) except the lockscreen. After seeing this, i took a backup of my efs folder using EFSpro backup and the backup file size was around 20kb. I have tried restoring to a previous nandroid backup and many other things but none helped.
Secondly, due to the first problem i tried restoring my phone to stock rom. i downloaded the file form sammobile, flashed it on my phone using ODINv3 1.85 by putting the file in the PDA section and allowing ODIN to do the rest. But before all of this i had taken a nandroid backup of the phone. I lost my root and cwm recovery. Moreover, i saw that my phone flashed a yellow screen of info on the home screen. I dont exactly remember if the sim was working at that time or not. So since i wanted to go back so i flashed the recovery file through odin with suto reboot and fresettime checked. Then i went into cwm recovery and did a restore from there. It had restored succesfully but then i saw that my phone was unable to receive a network signal!! It showed signal when the phone starts then it keeps on decreasing, turns off and on a couple of times and then it permanently turns off!! PLZ PLZ HELP !!!!!! ;-( ;-(

You posted link on I9070 thread, I came from there. Lot of users had similiar problem with I9070 when they changed GB for JB. Factory reset from recovery helped. Try that.

I suggest you ask on your device thread that is allready there: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1912654
I use I9070, maybe things are differend and someone already have solution.
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S3 - i747m 16GB
Rom: Cyanogenmod 10.2.1
This is an FYI, and curiosity post. FYI in case somebody else thinks to try what I did, and curiosity as I'm not 100% sure what I did wrong. Apologies if this is the wrong place for this - first post.
So, I flashed a bad modem update, and hardbricked my phone. Used the methods described here to debrick via SDCARD (SGH-I747M-UEMK5, so I guess I was using 4.3 bootloader - figured this out later - used a SANDISK Ultra 32GB UHS-1 card BTW). Got my phone back to the point where I needed the SDCARD inserted for the phone to function. Attempts to flash the bootloader via recovery didn't work (didn't check, but seemed that it "worked", but might have gone to the SDCARD, and not internal memory). Reading further, posts suggested that I revert to stock.
As I now had download mode available again, fired up ODIN, and with "I747MVLUFNE6_I747MOYCFNE6_BMC" (which is 4.4, and I didn't realize I had a 4.3 bootloader at this time) from sammobile, proceeded to flash with no warnings. Succeeded. Phone rebooted, and I received the "stock" samsung boot animation with sound. It did its thing for a bit, and then came to the "decrypt phone" prompt. My phone had been encrypted a while back, but wasn't when I started this "journey". I recalled having this problem once before when reverting to stock, and no code entered worked (needed to wipe data). For fun, I entered the code that was previously used to encrypt the device. It actually appeared to start working (that green Android picture with gears showed up when you put in the right code), and I could see the outline of the statusbar. It sat there for about 30 seconds, and then powered off. I thought it would reboot, but it didn't. No powerup, or lights visible, and I've tried virtually every debrick image on SDCARD (NE6) to no avail.
So, I'm getting the phone JTAG'ed tomorrow, but thought I'd throw this out as I initially thought I had solved the problem, but guess not. The only thing I can think of is flashing 4.4 stock vs. 4.3, however, the phone initially booted. Could it have flashed the bootloader again after ODIN and during the subsequent initial boot, and somehow screwed itself up?
Update after JTAG:
Took the phone to a reputable repair shop. Unfortunately, the JTAG was unsuccessful. Speaking briefly with the tech, he said that they tried writing at different speeds a couple of different times, and each time the write was successful, however, still no dice. They were using a Riffbox.
Unless something drastic happens, I feel that this is the end of this one (also, open to more "exotic" methods now lol)
I made a full nandroid backup on twrp about a week ago which included every option including EFS, when I went to (fully) restore the backup due to a faulty ROM it got stuck at 36% and wouldn't continue, I left it overnight to see if it would work and it did not, so I pulled the battery out and went to re run the restore but it has dissappeared, it wasnt on my SD card anymore and I couldn't figure out what had happened so I restored a different backup that only included data, system, and recovery, and when I booted my phone it said it was in Factory mode right away, but it didn't have the yellow text in the background, I have access to my cellular network but when I turn WiFi and then open an app that uses it, the phone instantly shuts off, I was reading online that the EFS was corrupt but the whole folder was empty, not a single file in it. I can't find anyone else who had the same problem and would greatly appreciate any help, I'm quite desperate to get this fixed

Good luck!
Hi I am new to rooting and soft bricked my phone on a Sprint Samsung S6 Edge G925P, I was messing with titanium back up and I clicked run on one of the batch files I believe it was replace apps with new versions but im not for sure. A lot of error messages kept popping up saying "name of app" closed and i could not finish my back up with titanium it was stuck at 50%. I went to go look at my phone and all the google apps such as play store and youtube were down and was replaced with the green android robot logo. I panicked and decided I should restart my phone with a factory reset. However, I can not get the reset to finish it always gets stuck on checking for updates or just a sec after waiting for long periods of time.
Please Help!!!

I Think that in this situation i recommond you two option
No.1- if you have done a backup in cwm recovery than you have to restore it
No.2- if you dont have any backup than flash your phone stock rom with odin
I hope that this will work 馃槈馃槈

It honestly took me a entire day to find the right files and fix it ,but I just now fixed it im so relieved. It was a huge pain in the ass after trying several files and methods ,but luckily I got the right files now and have them saved on my computer now. I didnt see your message til just now but luckily i saw it on my newly fixed S6 edge thank you for the reply im new to XDA forums
So i've had a rough couple of days with my S7. It all started when I used fdisk on /dev/block/sda thinking it was my usb. The phone froze and so it rebooted it, i would bring me directly to the download screen where i was able to install twrp.
Then I had problems with the /efs/ folder mounting, and like a noodle, i wiped it without a backup. So once i booted the phone. I had no service provider. I spent all day trying to figure that out.
Next I tried to install my stock firmware which always worked in the past. At this point i kept getting "dm-verifty" errors. TWRP bypassed it so i tried to flash it again, only to notice FRP lock was turned on on it's own. So let me sum it up.
I can't boot with stock firmware, i tried multiple all leading to "dm-verity error" "No DRK"
I can't install TWRP because FRP is ON.
Even if i figure this out, i have to deal with my imei and efs problems after. I read about Combination but Odin seems to refuse it.
I haven't even had the phone for a month so I may be able to return it but i doubt it because my void is 1 (0x500), which looks bad so..
If anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it, thanks in advance.
