Micro SD to Mini SD Adaptor?

I am looking for a Micro SD to Mini SD Adaptor has anyone seen one?
I am sure I saw a picture of one but I have never seen them for sale. My next phone will take Mini SD but given I spent £60 last year on a 4GB SD last year I am trying to future proof this time and buy a Micro rather than buying a Mini this year then possibly a Micro next year at upgrade time.
Cheers

Sprint HTC ARRIVE "A.K.A" HTC 7 PRO MEMORY

With all the info out there on the internet & all of the picture's also, Is there ANYONE that has ANY Picture's of the Sprint HTC ARRIVE A.K.A. HTC 7 PRO with the Micro SDHC Card being accessed? I have seen other Windows Phone 7 phone's with picture's of how to access their Micro SDHC Card's. I have not seen ANY picture's of the Sprint HTC ARRIVE A.K.A. HTC 7 PRO with the back cover off where you can look inside to check it out for access to the Micro SDHC Card at all.
If anyone has picture's or a link to them, PLEASE post them here.

I looked, haven't found any. I too am very curious to see.
Check this out here. It's from Intomobile.

These are Pictures of the Sprint HTC Arrive / HTC 7 PRO with the back cover off. Check out the Micro SDHC Card. It's very easily accessiable according to these pictures.
that's interesting, because wpcentral says you can't see the sd card by taking off the back cover.

maybe there are 2 different models or the other website used old htc 7 pro pics for the backside.

Interesting, they have some pictures of the Arrive, but the third image is obviously not the HTC Arrive.
Also, the Arrive has 16GB of memory, that SD card says 8.
I guess they got 2 photo sets mixed up.
i have the 7 pro
the sdcard is nowhere to be seen

Phone 7 micro SD
From many posts i've read here on XDA, i believe that ALL Phone 7 series will not have slots to change the memory card. One reason i read ws that it was part and parcel of being a 'Phone 7' device. Personally i do not know why that has to be so, but i do know that i have not seen a Phone 7 with a memory slot...
The picture's that I found was for a pre production model. The SPRINT HTC ARRIVE does have a 16GB Micro SDHC Card, but it IS burried inside the phone. Sorry to everyone for the BAD information.
I received my HTC 7 Pro on Wednesday (in Switzerland, where it is allready available).
It has definitive no directly accesable SD-Card-Slot. This slot is unter the cover at the bottom of the mobile phone (see a few posts before)
If you have any further questions, just ask, I will try give you an answer about it.
BTW: the built-in sd-card has 8 gb.
Haven't looked yet, but the Sprint rep claimed that w/the cloud service that the 16g was internal memory "like the Iphone" and that there was no sdcard in the phone. Any one else heard of this?
Allegedly, we can save right to our MS Skydrive accounts from the phone. Downside is (unless a 3rd party app exists) that people say the 16gb internal memory won't be available to the PC as a drive during a WMDC session. All hearsay until I get the phone of course (as I continue to bite my nails for 24 hours until fedex delivers
I got mine first thing Sunday morning. I was the first one to get it where I went. There are a few thing's besides the Buried Micro SDHC Card that I either just don't like or very much dislike about Windows Phone 7. One thing that REALLY annoys me is the NEW Sling Player Mobile for Windows Phone 7. The access to the DVR is not what it should be or where it should be either. The button for the DVR is not highlighted so you can just select it. You have to click on the Upper bar where it says " MISC " then go down to where it says " LIST " & click that for access to the DVR.
That window has so many icon's on it, it blocks the entire picture.

Here is the link to my post that shows where the memory card is located On the HTC Arrive. Most pictures I have seen on this forum and the web are of the GSM version of the HTC HD7 Pro. There is a difference to where the Sprint version has its memory card located at.

most suitable sd card for the s4

Hi guys, been in and out for around a year over on the s2 page but never signed up till last week when I got my s4.
On my s2 I used to have a bit of trouble with the sd card not working properly, I'm obviously still kinda using it but am considering getting a new one for the s4. I would always get the problem of pictures not being readable on the s2(grey silhouette with black background) but giving how much space Samsung have used up I really will need to be able to store pictures on the sd card.so what's your suggestion? I'm in the UK btw!
Cheers guys

Did the sd card ever unmount by itself or was it just the picture that was messed up? If it was just the pictures then you probably had a defective camera and your sd card would've been fine.
Both SanDisk and Samsung microSD cards are okay.
More info @ The best micro SD card for Samsung Galaxy S4
It kinda mucked up music and other things too, making duplicates and files that were no longer readable. Thing is in my haste and inexperience I think I probably went for cheapest on eBay at the time so most likely is the sd card being faulty!
SanDisk's 64GB card works well in my phone.

SDcard issues

Has anyone had the SD card become loose and need to open tray and reseat the SD card to get it to read the card again.
nopes
change your sd card
or use sd card of some other company which provides you standard size sd card
thanks
You could try putting some Scotch tape on the top side and use a razor to trim tape. Make sure you apply some pressure to tape on SD card, this thin bit of tape make be enough to make your sd card tighter in your device. Like member before me try and buy a original brand sd card. So make fakes on the market it's hard at time to know real from fakes..
I'm using a sandisk card bought from best buy. The card is not the issue, it's the looseness of the slot. I like what Huawei is doing but shouldn't have to rig a brand new phone.
I called there support number and asked if 64gb phones were available. All the reviews say 32 and 64gb versions. Guess the USA got the short end on that one. This one is going back, which sucks because I like the blue color.
Oh, and I've also had software issues with two different SD cards. I've gotten corrupt messages but a soft reset fixes it.

Here's my suggestion:
1. Copy all of your files in your PC or laptop.
2. Insert your SD in your phone, then format the SD.
3. Copy your files back.
4. Done.

All Honor 8 are facing this issue ? Or only this particular device from any specific region or so?

It could be just my device. I've decided to return it and grab a ZTE Axon 7. I was looking for a smaller form factor but the 64gb storage of the Axon is my sweet spot.

Already formatted card once after the first message. I think I just got one with a loose slot. It was the only blue one in San Antonio so no chance at exchange until November. Going to return it.

Exchange it immediately man. You just can't use it well with a loose slot.

You might have a defective tray, in which case you could try with a different one. Better than just exchange the whole phone.
Also, not all SDcard are equal, even from the same brand. My caliper told me so when I modded to have 2 SIM and SDcard in the same slot.
SD Card Loose
Hello, there are differences between the design and actual specifications may mean the SIM card holder fits only loosely into the phone.
Huawei smartphones are tested thoroughly before leaving the factory. The Huawei standard for the gap is ≤ 0.25 mm, ahead of the industry standard (≤ 0.3 mm).
If you still have concerns or issues with your SD card slot, please back up important data and take the receipt issued with your phone to an authorized Huawei service center for repair. [ns]
If you have got it recently and if you have time to return, get a replacement. Else go to the service center to rectify it as said by Honor_Noah

Try with a Samsung EVO card. They're on par with SanDisk.

I'm not so sure. Reliability was always the strong point of SanDisk, but they're quick too.

No problems at all with my 32GB Samsung SD card.
I don't like the flimsy tray for sd card and sim card.

But you don't have read problems do you?
I picked up my blue Honor 8 from Best Buy on the 4th. The exclusive to Best Buy thing with the blue color was supposed to end this month and I thought did already. Newegg had preorders for a 64 GB blue Honor 8 for $50 more than the 32GB one. I just didn't want to wait any longer (my phone was a two year old ~$150 Samsung one and I've been eyeing new phones since February waiting for the right one).
I'm using a Samsung Pro+ 64 GB UHS3 in my Honor 8 and had no problems with it fitting snuggly or data transfer speed or integrity. I'd like to get a 128GB (or 256GB since I've heard reports they work) card to expand my storage even further, but I still have ~30GB free so it's not worth it at the moment.

microSd for portable storage

This one will do the job well, extending the storage of my 128GB S10+, an extra 128GB is a plenty for videos/pics/music and the price was right: $28 on amazon.
Yep that's the one I use on my Note 9...for now.

It's hard to tell what are the real SD card speeds inside the phone, I used USB 3.0 reader and USB 3.1 bus on my desktop so it's not a real world result.
Let's hope that some day our smartphones would do data transfer speeds to match these: ( My desktop C drive Samsung 970NVMe/PCIe adapter)
Agree, would be good stuff for us!
I'm thinking about picking up a 256gb. Any thoughts on which ones aren't scams? Seems like the reviews away include fake cards being sent.
