I'm using a Galaxy J5 SM-j500f it's rooted and has the unofficial TWRP flashed
Phone's ringer volume is very low
Please someone make a "VOLUME UP" for this device like it is for galaxy J7

Thanks for using XDA Assist.
I found a post that might help you.
i figured it out. use a text editor that has root and navigate to system/etc. open up mixer_paths.xml. scroll down to the section "play scenario". in that section you'll see "path name="headset". in headset section you'll see rx1 and rx2 digital volume. change the values to what you want up to 100. i have mine at 88. at 88 i can keep the volume around 60% and it is loud with no distortion. so now i dont have to max out the DAC in the phone to get high volume.
if you want to do the speaker do the same steps above for the section "path name="speaker"" and change the rx7 digital volume value.

Hi, i can help u!
Gps fix: go to settings -> local settings press the GPS satelites for about 5sec , go to EPO settings then press download!
Volume fix: download MTK engineering from play store.
Go to MTK settings where u will find log and debugging page and there u can change audio volume!

I have Logitech g930 wireless headphone I bought OTG adapter and I connected with oneplus one and volume is too low plzz help

You can try to EDIT the Volume in mixer_phat.xml in system/etc when you have root access.......
What you using for a Rom ???
And why you Connect your logitech with otg ??? Its wireless?? Try to connect with Bluetooth ?!

Its wireless my phone is rooted and I didn't put any kind of ROM...
I don't know what to do with mixer_phat.XML could you plz tell me or guide it?

i read somewhere that you need to tweak the kernel to usb usb audio on android (i have no idea hot to do that), and maybe it just wasn't meant to work with an android device
It shows on terminal
cannot link executable could not load library "libasound.so" needed by "alsa_amixer"; caused by library "libasound.so" not found

In viper4android you need to boost volume in usb dock section. and not in headset for your device.
No use of viper4android it won't increase volume of headphone..
Can any one suggest to download custom ROM which I can get full volume?
i modified the default_gain.conf for g900h to increase the volume , it worked but while having a call and after accepting it m the phone will freeze and the other person wont be able to hear my voice .
can anyone help me with this problem ?

I am a user of Lava iris selfie 50, OS is KitKat 4.4.2 , I am getting my master volume very low even I up to volume slider to highest anyway
I used many modes already like mixer_path.XML can't help me , because there is no file exist name mixer_path.xml, in the system/etc folder neither default_gain.config file nor snd (something ) file , I also used many sound mod programs like viper4android, currently using DolbyAtmos , xtream music but none of things help me out , my phone is rooted, and I know how to flash , of put files in system folder (this is for those who firstly teaches me "did you enable rw in es file manager blah blah )
My phone speaker quality is good because whenever I set any song to ringtone it plays loud speaker and in headphone too , but when I try to play in music player like power amp, aimp, Apollo, Google music, it plays low , so is there any developer exist who help me out to boost my phone's volume like my ringtone volume or highest ??
I have tried almost every mod, so any help for me ?
I am being so tired of GOOGLING every day for my solution .
Kindly help me out guys ?
