Thanks for the info. So this international version receive the slowest update of all. And idea when this variant will receive the lollipop update?
International a beta (5.1) has already received. Chinese not.

Ok. Thanks for the link. Now I understood. For eg. In my phone the current firmware is MT7-TL10V100R001C00B120SP04 and the firmware i tried installing was MT7-TL10-V100R001CHNC00B127. The difference is in the name itself . Chinese version has CHN extra in its firmware name. Right sir?
True, CHN must not be in it, then it is for Asia. Because you realize whether or Internaional Asia. If before the B look like this: MT7-TL10V100R001C00

As you have instructed somewhere that for installing lollipop beta phone should be running B125 update.
I downloaded MT7-TL10V100R001C00B125SP02.zip but dload option failed saying there is no update.app . software update failed.
I am currently on MT7-TL10V100R001C00B120SP04 update.
What to do ?
Only works with the B125.

I bought a XT1541 on Amazon, but the phone received had a Spanish 5.1.1 ROM while I live in France. So i have flashed the "XT1541 OSPREY RETEU 5.1.1" rom and now it didn't find the Marshmallow update ..
I have the 8Gb version, setting says "System version: 23.41.47.osprey_reteu.reteu.en.EU retes" and a friend with the same phone show the right version ("23.41.47.osprey_reteu.reteu.en.EU retfr")
Some help required to change retes to retfr
Thank you in advance
Why don't you install the stock MM firmware instead of waiting an OTA update?
However, I just installed CM13

I haven't ever seen "retfr" in any Moto G3, but you should forget this, CM13 is very good and very stable. What image of RETEU did you install?
PS: I am spanish and I bought my Moto G in Orange and I have received the OTA.

All french Moto G3 with stock rom i have seen have "retfr" like this:
I have tried all RETEU firmware (5.1.1, 6.0 and 6.0.1) and same problem..
"retes" can't be edited in build.prop, i have only the line before ("23.31.22.osprey_reteu.reteu.en.EU" for exemple in the uploaded image)

7.1 ??
Then version 7.v20b that is? People who have installed version v.20b speak about fixed failure of battery expense and of the greater stability and fluidity without lags than v.20a of nougat....
Version 20b is nougat 7.0. Same kernel that v20a
Enviado desde mi LG-H850 mediante Tapatalk
I finished cook new rom based v20b, TIM network, Italy. Testing continually
Any Changelog?
I've never been more confused on XDA
20b = 8.1.2 (Android O) [emoji6]
LG's 20b update = Android 7.0 Nougat.
It's a bug fix / stability update, nothing to get too excited about!
This is still the November security patch and Android 7.0
Most likely 7.0, anyway I wanna get the update haha, the V20A has some battery drain problems

Nope. Drain has to do with your apps / the person in front of the phone.

Thanks god someone who reasons a bit Here :victory:
Really, my battery is even improved after the update, maybe whe are blessed, who knows... Lol
Using the same apps as with MM I found out that the time the phone isn't in deep sleep has a little bit increased using N (caused mostly by google-play services) As the CPU runs only with low frequencies during that it has not really an effect on battery life, means battery life 'feels' the same.
December security patch
So i updated my honor 6x (BLN-L21 EU Version) to android 7.0 (emui5) through an app called 'Firmware finder'. Now I can't find the LTE option in the settings and when I activate mobile data, I can't see 4g in the notification bar.
It worked normal on emui 4.1.
Official or BETA release ?

I think that this is a beta.
LTE works for me BLN-L21 with Nougat.
I am on 342 which is the beta and I have LTE/4G working just fine. It just always worked, I didn't have to do anything.
Sent from my Honor 6x using XDA Labs

Yes, check Reddit Moto x4
Same as brazilian variant, but we received one or two weeks ago.
Same for me, XT1900-7 (RETEU - Germany).
Very frustrating...

Oreo 8.1 is for the Android One version only. "Stock Moto" version is still stuck on 8.0.

You can flash 8.1 ROM on your phone, but you will not receive any OTA after that, only the retus software channel will receive OTA.

I think it's the 4G working frequencies and the software channel.
But if you flash the XT1900-1 ROM, your carrier will work without a problem, I guarantee that.

remove password/pin/ any type of lock you have, reboot.
Was looking to flash 8.1 (PAYTON_OPW28.46-13_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip) from here: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=746163614322270003
Anyone know the difference between OPW, OPWS and NPW, what do they mean?
I am still on 8.0 (OPWS27.57-40-14) on the XT1900-7 32GB/3GB Europe standard/retail model and can't receive official updates.
I have Magisk and an unlocked bootloader, can I just wipe and flash this or do I need to do something else beforehand?
Thanks.

OK, I found it!
I changed the USB adapter, what I used it before, and OTG function work again. It is strange, because it work with charger, but it don't work with my Pen Drive. So the solution was a new micro usb adapter for me.
can someone share download link for XT1900-7 firmware?
edit: when i type in cmd "fastboot oem unlock" it will unlock bootloader, and locking also work without code. is it normal?

Here you could find Retail, Amazon and Android One versions.
You need code for the bootloader unlocking only first time you did it.
So XT1900-7 *still* doesn't have 8.1?
I thought I was reading everywhere that unlocked X4 should get it...
