Hello.
I am using Asus Zenfone Go zc500tg . Although the internal memory of the phone is 8gb , I can only use 4gb of it. The other 4gb is being used by the system .This is very annoying . Is there anyway I can partition the internal sd card and use the full 8 gb as my internal memory?

Which part (do you want more specifics about)?
Tried upgrading from microSD 16gb to (microSD) 128gb with image file (in order to get a bit-by-bit copy), but it does not allow me to enlarge the partition after having put the 16gb onto the 128gb card (otherwise the 128 microSD would be useless with the 16gb image defining the partition size to be 16gb).
What am I missing (in the process of enlarging the partition to the max size of the 128gb card)?

Hi XDA Forum!
I'm here because of a SanDisk MicroSD Class 10 16 GB Card.
I was recovered from a antique android phone that i don't own anymore.
But when i put it in PC, it is in a complete lock state. I can't format, write or anything that involves modify cards (i can copy the files to my pc)
I Need a way to get this card back for normal use...
I Have tried almost everything...
Please help!

I have HTC 620G model and it has only 8GB internal storage. I am unable to download and play any game because of insufficient storage. I hav 16 GB SD card which is empty but I cant use it since there is no option on te device to move/install apps on SD card. I want to root my device. Kindly advise me on the same and SD card issue. My device android version is Kitkat4.4.2.

First : what is the benifits of sd card partition ?
Second : what is the ways of sd card partition ?
Third : when i made partition for sd card , the second part disappeared , why and where the second part goes ?
Fourth : which is the best sort to choose fat32 or ext4 , and why ?
( i am interested in downloading too much apps )
Finally : i have 62 gega byte , how much space u advice me to make the 2nd partition

Hey guys. I know this post isnt related to root or anything but I really want someone to help me out on something. I recently bought a QMobile A1 (It's an Android One phone and I think it is the Karbonn Sparkle V changed in Pakistan, so you can consider it a Karbonn Sparkle V) and it came with Lollipop preloaded. So I updated it to Marshmallow and updated all the security patches and other updates. I also added a 16GB Micro SD Card info it and formatted it as Internal Storage. I tried taking some photos and videos but they all saved on my internal memory and it got full really quickly. Nothing goes inside the SD Card except for apps. I'm really worried about this because one of my relatives also bought the same phone and same SD Card but he could save photos and videos automatically on his SD. I asked him if he modified anything but he said he didn't. Please help me out because I only have 8GB of which only 5.75GB is available to me. Thanks.

Nevermind, I solved the problem myself I just migrated the data from Internal to SD and it worked
