[UNOFFICIAL] Ascension Q & A

This is a tribute thread to Recognized Developer Flappjaxxx's AOSP ICS ROM "Ascension".
The last "Official" Version of Ascension is V7.
I Know that many people were daily driving this rom and would continue to use it regardless of prospective future updates.
At this point little is know by most of the community why this ROM is no longer being supported, but we must respect his decision regarding the closing of his threads!
That being said...
This thread should be your place to post any questions or comments about Ascension ROM, thus keeping XDA somewhat orderly.
This thread should be monitored and responded to by anyone posting here.
This is not an official thread and support is not guaranteed, but my belief is that our community is plenty capable of answering most questions based on this ROM, and thereby increasing the longevity of the ROM and prospect for a return by its developer.
Please be respectful of others and I will try to help as much as I can (which isnt much), while I would hope other Ascension user would have input also!
This ROM was a great addition to our phones and hopefully will live on through our community!

Although a thoughtful idea....please contact the DEV OF THAT ROM before opening such a thread. He may have closed down his threads for now but may be back VERY SOON. You should give him some time. Please remove this and talk with Flapp, the actual DEV of the rom before posting anything.
Thanks
again, thoughtful idea, but out of line without permission.
Yes please consult any developer before trying to Q&A his rom. This is a matter of respect.

HTC One S Roms?

Hi all, new to the HTC ONe S, and I am wondering what roms are available that are fully working?, I see a few here, but one of them you have to be a paid member to get...hmmmm.....and the others are incomplete, or have issues, I know everyone probably scrambling but was just curious on what roms are available?...TIA Dirtylarry
Hi to all
This is just to remind you this is for development only. As this device builds momentum, i suspect this section might become busy. So i post this to remind you of the rules of the development section.
Please do not start Question or request threads. These threads go in the general section. I will usually close these threads if posted here.
Do not ask for ETAs on Roms, it just clutters up the thread and annoys the developer.
Anything i condone as spam will be instantly deleted.
Please do not post thank you. That is what the thanks button is for.
If anybody feels a post should be a sticky, please PM me with the reasoning.
Please report any posts that are out of place, or contain questionable content. They will be dealt with quickly!
So basically please only post ROM Development, Hacks, Mods, Fixes and Tutorials in this section.
Thank you for your attention, if you have any further questions. Please feel free to PM me or one of the moderation team.

Yes, does not work at all and GSM and phone application. Version iokp_n8000_official_2013-12-01.zip and iokp_n8000_official_2013-12-28.zip. That's why I started this thread.
I'm confused! I need an adult!

You know the forum rules, and guidelines, that XDA makes you see when signing up? and how they go above and beyond to try to get users to take a moment to read? They stress the importance of following rules, for this exact reason, to keep forums clean and organized, yet people still don't pay any attention.
This is not a request forum, this is why your post is confusing people. This is development forum where developers post their ROMs, and work. Users are expecting a download, yet they are presented with this.
Please take the time to read the rules! I am sorry if I come off as a jerk, I don't mean to.. But being a member of this site so long, it gets frustrating after awhile when users continuously do not pay attention to the rules, especially since XDA goes above and beyond to make users read and understand the rules.
15. Keep threads / posts on-topic
Whilst a minor amount of off-topic posting may be overlooked, the general rule is that your posts / threads must be relevant to the Forum / thread in which you are posting.

You can click here to read the full list of official rules, and guidelines.
Click here to go to the proper forum for your request.
You will probably have better luck with your request being answered there anyways.
@lifeofcoding good luck on your quest of being moderator. But why quote me?

[Completed] Request for dev forums privileges

Hi, I've been a long time lurker and ROM customization / modding enthusiast, although I'm not an active dev, I have frequently over my years reading XDA come across development threads that I could participate constructively in if I had privileges to post. May I respectfully submit for your consideration that my account be granted aforementioned privileges? The threads I currently have to use to create posts to establish this according to forum moderation guidelines leaves me at a loss, and I would prefer not to post frivolously just to gain the member status I'm requesting. Cheers!

Greetings,
You earn the right to post in Development sections after you have made 10 useful or helpful posts. Do not spam "thanks" or "+1" types of posts, as this could get you into trouble.
I suggest going to your device's Q&A or General sections and see if you can contribute there. If you don't have a device with a dedicated forum, go to one of our General or common Q&A sections and try to contribute.
Thanks!
