Nice idea of app!
Maybe you should think of adding the possibility to create some MCQ or small questions/answers lists.
I will really enjoy to see this feature to learn my lists of vocabulary

[APP][4.0+] memosaic: A Neat Note Taking App

Hi everyone,
Thank you in advance for taking the time to check out our new Android app: memosaic.
We built "memosaic" with the goal of making it easier for users not only to note down their thoughts and ideas on their mobile, but to make it also easier to re-arrange those memos in a visual structure that can add logical relations among content of the memos, or simply a visual layout for clean and organized memo.
While the above scenario is the idea behind the app, we think the current implementation is simple enough to allow much more creative ways of using it.
Since the early days after releasing to Google Play, most of downloads have been from Japan, but we believe the concept is universal,
and we would love to get feedback from as many of you as possible. Hopefully some would share the same enthusiasm for the app as we do.
App Features:
1. Can take notes by typing texts, importing photos from gallery, or directly from camera app
2. Allow to arrange the pieces of memo in a visual tree structure with constant spacing for better overall visibility.
3. Can copy/cut/paste or swap memo pieces, we call sheets, to re-arrange the content of the note.
Download link:
Could not post link, so please search for "memosaic" on Google Play.
package name is co.memosaic.mg. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Feedback is most welcome.
Hi everyone,
Big thanks to those who already checked memosaic out.
Your honest feedback and function requests are the most welcome.
Thank you for the time.
Sincerly,
Team memosaic
I really like the concept of this, being aesthetically pleasing is a huge plus as well.
The one thing i'm picky about is the ability to get data out, do you have any export possibilities planned? preferably in some way that is readable by other software (whether it be on a computer or android)? maybe html or xml?
I really don't like using an app for a long period of time, then finding out it has turned into abandonware and there is absolutely no way of exporting it in a human-readable format aside from yanking whatever database it uses internally and trying to reverse engineer a way to export it.

Thank you very much for checking out memosaic, and bigger thanks for the feedback. We are so glad you liked the concept and the design that we tried very hard to keep it as simple as possible.

Yes, yes! Exporting data out is definitely a key feature that we are taking a little time to get it right. HTML is the format we are targeting for, so stay tuned.

We have a few ideas on how to backup/share memosaic notes, and we will try to make it as smooth as possible. With you +1 request we will work even harder on this.
Thank you again

Thanks for the reply! I'm excited to see it progress, the functionality has grown on me ten-fold since I started tinkering around with it, the grid system is ingenious

[App] [4.1+] Planets

Hello all!
This is my first post on this forum so if I'm posting this in the wrong place, let me know! I would like to show off my latest Android App that I've been working on for the last few months. It has been a long path of changes, changes, and more changes! I've really enjoyed how far I've come with learning development. So here it is!
Planets is a educational app that is centered around providing users with information about the planets in our solar system. It also has info about other objects like the Sun and Pluto. I recently redesigned the app to make the content easier to scan and make it a little more fluid like. I have a community[1] set up with Beta testing for the people who want to test stuff before it's released to the public. I am looking to gain a larger user base but my main goal is just making the app look nice and easy to use. You can download[2] it on the Play Store and feedback/ratings are appreciated. So far, I've got about 1,400 downloads and I'm hoping to get more! Also, you can view the full source code for this app[3]!
See attachments for screenshots.

Wonderful application, always been an admirer of Astronomy and this is just brilliantly put together. Will come back with a decent feedback soon .
I know it is easy to pick on any application but knowing how much effort might have gone in does help (through your github post).
Is it possible to convert the given units into scientific units (e.g. mass of sun = 1.9891 * 10^30 kg)?
Hi, I'm a fan of astronomy but I'm also a graphic, web-designer/developer... I love you app and, if it is possibile, I want to make some themes for this app!
Very nice app. Informative and yet easy on the eye. Looking forward to further updates.
Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Free mobile app
I'm always up for more astronomy. Great work, keep it up. :good:
Very nice! Love the UI, looks very intuitive.
Some suggestions:
- use translucent bars on KitKat
- make the back animation consistent with the open animation. For example, when you tap a planet, the card zooms in to fill the screen; but when you hit Back, the screen kind of fades away (the default Android exit animation). It would be nice if it zooms back out.
- like @orville87 said, it would be easier on the eyes to express the units in scientific notation.
- Pluto isn't a planet anymore, right?
I would have asked for info on extraterrestrial moons, but it would seem too outrageous a request.
Subscribed, awaiting further updates
Which of those are the app that is being shown here:

Not enough information. Can you tell me how is this app better than the others universe related apps in Google Play? I appreciate your effort but if you want your app to be competitive he should add more features or at least more info because the info included here is common and can be found in wikipedia for example. There are also apps who also provide 3D model of the solar system with the orbits of all planets.
I'm not trying to offend you, don't get me wrong.

For being a high school student and balancing life and school and this, I take pride in the work that I've done. Sure there are better apps than mine with more info and awesome 3D renderings of planets, I'm not afraid to admit that. However, I'm proud of the work I've done and if people don't recognize that it IS work from a high school student and not some average middle-aged developer, then so be it. Thanks for your feedback :good:

As I said in the beginning of my post I appreciate what you do because I love astronomy and physics so it's good beginning and I'm not hating. But yet you needed something to stimulate you to develop your app. I wish you all best and I'm sure that you'll keep developing this app until it becomes competitive to all the apps out there.

Open source app development

Hi guys.. first of all i'm new to android dev and this forum. so excuse me for any mistake.. The reason im posting here is i had an idea for an app i always felt need about and couldnt find on play store. I call it irevise.
Its a simple notes making app for students(yes there are many) but with a change. A homescreen widget with additional features to make it easy and convenient to revise/memorise the study material. am studying myself and so had started this project.. have got it into a decent app as of now for my use but there are many additional features to be added, and due to lack of time/expertise/funds i may never complete them all.. so came up with the idea of opensource. Ive released it under Apache license 2.0 on sourceforge. sourceforge.net/projects/irevise/
Invite you all to come and develop together to make this into a cool app
Am providing brief info below for anyone intrested..

Yes but very effective!! And with so many exciting features lined up it could end up as a really awesum tool.. So why waiting, lets code it !!
Features
Quick Revision Tool For students
Supports android 2.3+
Homescreen Widget (Auto Updating)
Backup/Restore Notes (to be added )
Share Notes (to be added)
Study Circle (to Be added)
Inviting everyone to work on the features mentioned and any extras which may be useful.. Also haven't been able to publish on play store as my old account was suspended by google(dunno why) and i dont have an additional card.. so apk also available there only...
its a nice oppurtunity especially for newbies like me to improve our sills, work as a team and get a useful app built in the process.. the biggies can always practice and show off their skills too

Android application for coffee lovers

Hi!
My name is Maria, I live in Minsk (Belarus)
I am a web designer and I was thinking of creating my own project for a long time
But what could I do?
I thought about the things I really like. And decided to make an application dedicated to the rich amazing drink - coffee
I collected 100 best recipes of cold coffee, hot coffee, coffee cocktails and alcohol coffee. Besides I added 25 recipes of wonderful bakery with coffee.
It was not so easy but I am proud of the collection.
I also joined great pictures to each recipe for you to see the approximate result
My husband coded the app. Together we worked hard on each detail - starting from colors and up to animations and interactions
We wanted to make an app that you will like and enjoy daily.
We wanted to share our recipes collection and our love to coffee with everyone.
Today I am happy to introduce you our application for Android OS - COFFEE WORLD
The application is absolutely free, has no ads and requires no permissions!
You can find it on Google Play, Samsung Market and Amazon
I will be happy to receive your comments and opinions to make the app even better and more usable so don't hesitate to contact me with your feedbacks!
Have a great day!!!
It's a wonderful app.! So cute and the animations are great! I wouldn't change a thing about it. If I had to, I'd say add touch feedback on the cards, and I'd change the opening animation on the coffee recipe card, something about the expanding thumbnail seems off to me. A header on the main page with a logo would be aesthetically pleasing too, as well as removing the back arrow on the front page as I don't really see it as an essential feature. All in all, you both did a great job on the app! These are just minor issues that shouldn't even be considered issues haha I'm just giving my feedback so I can help you out. It's also 5 am here and I can't sleep so I said why not ☺ I'll be keeping this with me btw the recipes seem to be real interesting
Here's the play store link so people can download it:

Sure, we will add new recipes periodically
At the moment we try to make the app more usable and attractive
A "Favorites" feature would be nice too. Maybe like a little star option so people can go back to the recipes that they like. It'd be a nice addition to fill in that last empty spot in the front page

Please give me some feedback on my Student Planner app!

I have spent quite a long time developing this app and am still trying to add more features. My main goal with this app was to make organizing assignments easier. A lot of kids at my school take a picture of the homework board, so I made my app able to automatically get the assignments listed in a picture and add it to a digital planner. I am constantly looking for advice as I definitely cannot improve my app if I just look at it from one perspective. So I would appreciate if you would please check out my app and give me feedback!
The app is called Easy Planner, you may have to type it in as easyplanner without spaces. It is by Student Apps
