Hi,
Thanks for using XDA assist.
Since you have tried two of the most commonly used root apps, it is highly likely that your phone can not be rooted.
There is no currently known method for rooting your device, however if you still have questions, please create a XDA account and post in the following forum below:

Hi,
I can't find anything relevant on XDA for your device. You can see if you've tried all the generic root methods at the top of the list here,
XDA Root Directory
If none work, you will need to ask for help here,
> Android Development and Hacking > Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Good luck!
I have recently purchased one of these and have been having trouble rooting it any thing out there so far I have tried king root towel root and 360 root all with no look.
I am comfortable with linux cli commands so am not fussy about how this should be achieved any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for using XDA assist.
I couldn't find any information on custom recoveries running on your device. I would highly recommend posting in the Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum as there is no dedicated forum for your device. Please note that in order to post, you will need to create a XDA account.

I wasn't too sure where exactly I should place this thread I am sorry. I have an S4 Mini SGH-I257M and I've rooted it once before. After updating my phone to the version 4.4.2 I lost root access. I tried every method to root it and nothing worked. Generally when I used the threads that were about the SGH-I257M, in Odin it would be stuck at RESET even after the phone restarted itself (checked and had no root access). I browsed some more and people said I can use the same method as the GT-I9195. For this one in Odin it said PASS, except when I installed the S4Mini_Rootkit, the SuperU thing wouldn't install and still I had no root access.
Please help! Thank you!

I have two zte z987s. One is still running 4.4.4 and the other 5.1. I had the 5.1 partially rooted somehow ( not sure exactly what I did), but I had superuser access. Unfortunately, I had to reset it, lost SU, and can't figure out how to do it again. I was going to try rooting the 4.4.4 because I had read on one of XDAs great threads that there is a method. My problem is I don't have "Allow OEM unlock" option on the 4.4.4. They are the exact same phone, both from cricket. Can anyone help guide me in the right direction. I am new to rooting and XDA has been a great learning tool. You guys are awesome and I appreciate what you do. I have rooted several other phones using odin, fastboot, sideload, etc. All by teaching myself, so as I said, I am not a noob. Just a 2nd year player learning the ropes. Any guidance is greatly appreciated!
Thanks again guys!
