Hi, my vibe shot has been dead for 2 days now. I bought it from ebay due to the fact that its arrival would be delayed in my country.I took the z90-3 instead of z90-7 cause it cost less and thought the only thing different would be the memory(16GB vs 32GB). It came out that i had the chinese rom installed with its bloatware. 2 days ago i decided i wanted the international rom so i flashed my rom based on a thread of yours. Everything was great till i realized my sim signal was dead. then in my panic i tried to flash again with an unsuitable firmware. Now i have a dead phone. It wont open at all, when i connect and disconnect it doesn't light up the led only be shown on ports(Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008(COM3)). Is there anything i can do to revert the functionality of my phone or should i consider buying another one? I would apprieciate your help.

This is my first post and am completely new to smart phones, and have got out of my depth. I bought a new Samsung S2 i9100 from China about 6 months ago. The GPS stopped working (something I discover from another thread here, is not uncommon), and I tried to update the firmware using Odin.
This failed and the phone is now soft bricked as I understand it, as I learnt from another thread here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/help/how-to-replace-chinese-firmware-t1192575 ) that Chinese Samsung phones cannot be flashed with European firmware.
I have looked on samsung.com and Sammobile and the original firmware is not listed anywhere (I9100ZCKG4). I have tried installing, using Odin, CWM Recovery and the stock firmware listed on samsung.com for China, but both fail.
I have read the thread on this site on this issue and following suggestions from here this takes via Chinese sites http://bbs.gfan.com/android-2099143-1-1.html and then I eventually end up at http://bbs.gfan.com/android-4920184-1-1.html where I think there is a link to the firmware I9100ZCKG4. The link takes me to http://115.com/5lb/ and neither myself of Google translate are unable to make any sense of this page, and I cannot get any further.
The other problem is that I think I enabled USB debugging before starting ,but now cannot be sure.
Maybe I have learnt and expensive lesson, but any help would be most welcome, especially if expressed in terms a beginner is likely to understand.

My Note 4 told me to do a system update, so, I did, and after about an hour of my phone flashing on and off on and off, I took it to the nearest Tmobile store and was told that, there was nothing they could do for me except sell me another phone, which I was forced to buy. So, I now have a phone I used to love, and cant use. The guy at Tmobile said that someone tried to root my phone but was unsuccessful, and only rooted it part of the way. So, now it is stuck in this half rooted mode. Is there anything I can do to recover my favorite phone? Plz help....

but the seller doesnt exist any more
i did something wrong trying to remove a virus and the phone ended having no O.S.
i also cannot flash a custom recovery
i tried factory reset but it didnt work
currently even the screen does not turn on
the only respond i get is when i plug cable to my PC
it just says "device connected" and after 4 seconds it says "device disconnected"
i believe i pretty much destroyed my phone
but you are my last hope
is there any chance fixing it?
thank you

Wow this forum has changed a bit since I was last on here, anyways.
My friend would like to clear all the crapware of her phone because its only a 8gb model (1gb free..). Well I'm having trouble finding anything about this model, the OT Idol sure, but nothing about this Pop Star, or at-least I believe thats what it is. I included the model number (A521L) to be more specific. The device in question is on 4.4.4, I think it'll be fine to stay on it, but possibly fine to go up to Lollipop if available.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I couldn't find much information about your device here except this thread
[MEGATHREAD] Alcatel Onetouch Pop Star
Try posting your query there. It has no replies yet but the OP claims that kingroot 4.8.2 works.
Good luck

Hello all,
I got a budget Samsung phone a while ago, the SM-J737V, expecting the usual 2 years of updates, from oreo > pie, and then to Q. But Samsung (or maybe Verizon I suppose) screwed me over and only gave me oreo > pie and then nothing.
What I'm here for is to ask all of the kind developers on this forum to please assist me in finding a way to unlock the J737V's bootloader, so that maybe one day this phone may see Lineage OS or AOSP, and so my phone will not die less than 2 years after I got it.
Thank you, and godspeed.

You can check this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-unlock-bootloader-samsung-galaxy-j7.3409080/
But IDK if this will work on your device. Best to ask in this thread first before flashing wrong files to your device.

Nope, didn't work unfortunately. My J7 is a newer one with no fastboot support and a locked bootloader.
Good day, I have a Samsung Galaxy j7v for about 3 yrs or more that my friend bought from a person overseas and from I got the phone it keeps asking me for a pin. It seems the phone is tied to an organization and as such I can't use the phone, is there anyone that can help me with removing this organization thing from the phone please?
