Will the Marshmallow GPE ROM Connect with MetroPCS Network? - Verizon HTC One (M8)

Does anyone know if the Marshmallow GPE ROM will work with MetroPCS cell network?
- I successfully installed the Lollipop GPE ROM and it is working successfully on the MetroPCS cellular network.
- However, now I continuously receive a message saying there is an OTA for Marshmallow.
- In other threads I've read that it's best to avoid installing an OTA on a rooted phone, hence I'm considering installing the Marshmallow GPE ROM.
Thank you,

If the LP GPE ROM worked, I don't see the harm in making a nandroid backup and flashing the MM GPE ROM...

:( Moto G Australia Version Kitkat failure

Bad news!!
I was so eager to update to Kitkat for my Australian Version Moto G, then I forgot to backup my stock rom before flashing the CM11~ Following the instruction, I have flashed the Modem for 4.4.2 as well. However, The SIM card cannot get reception, and while searching for the operator, it popped out that "your sim card does not allow a connection to this network".
When I am trying to flash back the 4.3 modem back to my device, it said that "this is for xt1033, and this device is xt1032"。。。
Is there anyway that I can get back????
Looking for help......

will return you to total stock. then you should be able to OTA update to kitkat as well as it was just released for the XT1033

[Boost] Moto G. GPE Conversion questions

Hey guys, I ordered a boost mobile Moto G and it's arriving in a few days. I was wondering how would I go about converting it to GPE, and what does it entail? For example does conversion allow it to function correctly with working wifi, and to receive OTA updates directly from google, or would i have to manually flash lollipop roms for boost?
The first step is unlocking the bootloader which will void your warranty!
I am not sure if its possible to convert to GPE firmware with the Boost model.
I've tried to flash gpe on my xt1031, afterwards radio (calls, data, etc) weren't functioning, no matter what radio or baseband I flashed. It only worked once I went back to the stock boost ROM.
I've been searching for a way to do it for months, and have had little success.

Be thankful and grateful that you can unlock your bootloader, root, flash a custom recovery and flash roms. I had the xt1028 Verizon prepaid and none of that is possible if you're on 4.4.4 which my phone came with preinstalled. Phone is not eligible for bootloader unlock.

You can't flash any gpe rom on the boost variant if you use the radio. I've tried flashing modems but it just doesn't work with gpe on boost.

I would like to second that. Based on all of the posts I have read (a lot!) the gpe version is for gsm phones and won't work on cdma (boost).

can Samsung KIES, firmware repair tool revert 5.1.1 Roms to stock 5.0.2 ?

Can the official Samsung KIES Flash tool program correctly flash 5.0.2 software back onto my phone
after I install a 5.1.1 Rom?
Everyone says you can not return to 5.0.2 rom after flashing a 5.1.1 rom.
is that 100 % correct ?
the Japanese softbank sm925Z Galaxy s6 Edge is still 5.0.2. it never recieved a 5.1.1 update.
I want to try to find a 5.1.1 rom for another country. but I do not know if the official samsung KIES flash tool
can return me to stock 5.0.2 , if the 5.1.1 fails to connect to wifi and cellular.
is there a way to backup my modem-imei-efs information, and import that to new ROMS ?
I have tried other 5.0.2 roms, and all of them lose access to the wifi and cellular service.
Should I abandon all hope on roms with the japanese sm925z?
or is there an option I dont quiet understand yet?
I have backed up my stock rom and efs partition with rooted twrp 2860.
but replacing the EFS partition ontop of new ROMS does not seem to resolve the wifi - cell service issue.
I thinks the answer is no.
Kies, no.
ODIN, maybe
It should or ODIN should because you are not updating the bootloader.

Rom with Functioning Fingerprint scanner and data - International

Hi guys, I have a G900p on 4.4.2 rooted with Phils recovery. My goal with this phone was to be able and use data internationally once it was unlocked, data didnt work on stock software. So I flashed Shohat Rom v5 and that made my data work, but my fingerprint scanner was unusable. What rom can I flash into this phone to have functioning data and functioning fingerscanner. Please consider that I am in Mexico which is international and I need data.
Thank you
the newest stock rom now has international data working

Hi, I also have a G900p sprint S5 on 5.0 software - G900PVPU3B0G1, but it also picks up no data at all here internationally. It picks up signal calls and all, but no data and I cant find the way to downgrade it to 4.4.2 since every time I try with Odin it simply fails. I wouldnt want to upgrade it to that new version, since then I think it would be even harder to downgrade to 4.4.2? hope you can lend a hand and let me know.
Thanks

well you cant downgrade the bootloader to anything below OG1 if your on stock. but if you root it you can install any custom rom through the custom recovery you added when rooting.
including flashing a 4.4.2 rom as long as your rooted with custom recovery.
when you flash a rom in the custom recovery your only flashing the rom itself not the bootloader. so you can go back to whatever rom you want but it must be done through a custom recovery. so to break it down
even if you upgrade and it doesnt give you the data your looking for you can root and flash an old rom.
one old trick that used to reset the data was a dialer code ##SCRTN# (press those digits in the dialer pad) it resets the entire data profile for the phone . so good luck the rest should be in the forums
If I'm on OG1 and rooted I can flash back to 4.4.2 ? Do I need to flash modem and kernel from the older version I'm flashing ?

Xt1250 on latest Verizon 6.0.1 update

I was curious if others who have a Motorola Maxx 1250 were having problems with the latest official Verizon 6.0.1 update installing and connecting to cellular network and WiFi. I have the 1250 on Verizon network, and used to use @computerfreek274, 5.1 rom to successfully use Volte but with both cf's newest 6.0.1 rom and the twrp flashable official rom by @TheSt33v, I am unable to connect to either WiFi or cell network.
I am, however able to use @iiWoodstocK Brazil version, which functions properly although no VoLte. I also run into no problems with the CM version of 6 and 7 roms.

If your flashing my new mm ROM. If it is all booting up and you updated radios. Reflash boot.img out of my radio/bl pack. I believe it is just the boot.img / kernel not updated. Drop me a PM I will try and help you more later tonight.

If anyone else is having issues getting Verizon VoLte on xt1250 / marshmallow, see this post in CF's forum. It's what worked for me.
