Hi guys, thanks for all the info provided in this forum. My device is actually rooted but i have a problem, my "system" is not writable at this moment because RIC. I have kk 4.4.4 and stock rom. Is there any way to disable it or maybe a working kernel with this option disabled?

Is it possible to add or re-enable the phone feature on the verizon note 10.1? I have searched but I couldnt find anything. But I would like to try to flash the semcphone.apk back in to the device. If anyone who has n8020 can upload the semcphone.apk or can show me how to re enable this feature, I would greatly appreciate it.

You can get any apk you want by downloading the 8020 stock rom. Although I really doubt this will enable calling. I have a feeling VZW disabled much more than an apk. I'm sure there's some framework missing as well.

I have rooted my M2 KK with the method as know in the development section of this foum. After that, I installed Adfree and blocked the ip's from addserver in the local host data.
On JB it worked without any problems, but under KK, the adds are not blocked.
Has anybody an idea or a solution for me ?

I assume you're rooted. Do you have xposed framework installed ?
If yes, you can try Minminguard
i am using android 4.4.2 TW based on my samsung galaxy note N7100, the rom i am using has the old JB icon for GPS. while i want the latest KK notification in that. i dont want to change the rom, this one is working very well. can anyone help me? and yes i am not "eactly" noob, so i have the rooted device and i can do a bit of mods to the framework and all, i understand that. so if anyone wana help me how to do that, i'd be thankful

As you had root your device, there is a module under xposed repo > check here http://repo.xposed.info/module/eun.xposed.gpsnotification

Bros I have just modified a custom rom by adding some of ma favrid apps and some features i have edited build.prop but all the details are not changing then i searched xda and find somethings about edit setings apk in kitkat setings apk i cant find the datas they mentiond

I have Samsung J1 running stock Marshmallow with root and Xposed, is there any way to make the phone have unlimited lockscreen password attempts and disable the wipe feature, I tried LockScreen TweakBox but it doesnt work in Marshmallow! Please help me and thanks in advance!
