Have you tried making sure the correct APN settings are configured properly? I had a Note 4 and I know that there was a data zip that needed to be flashed along with the rom to get data working. Sorry I wish I could help more but I don't have this phone or a Note for that matter, Nexus 6 on the way

Heres the link for when I had this trouble with my note 4. **Keep in mind this is for the Note 4 not s5, I am not sure of comparability or if this is even the issue your having** Hope this helps.

Hello.
I'm kind new to Samsung phones, so I need some help. I bought a branded phone, and it don't have the Nougat update because is from my operator.
So, I want to know what I have to do AFTER update it manually or via "software update" on phone or from Mobile Switch (Samsung support tell me to use it, but it don't update my phone).
I saw some info on "software update" on my phone, like "version G610MUBU1AQF3 / G610MZVV1AQF1 / G610MUBU1AQF1". I guess this must be changed to get an update, right?
What I have to do? I know I have to use ODIN to manually update, but to avoid problems (like kill or brick while in warranty), I need information on how to update correctly.
Thanks in advice!
Update From ODIN Will Change Your CSC, For Check For Update, Just Go To Settings And Click Software Update, Sorry If Im Wromg. Senior Member Please Help

So, I just flash the new ROM with ODIN? No need to change something manually?

Thanks for information. Nougat isn't available for Brazil, but I'll download for another country. I'll update this post.

I Used The Indian Firmware Too For My J710FN
Hi guys, i'm no longer able to record my calls... i previosly use the app total recall... but when i updated to android oreo 8.1 doesn't work.. anyone can help me??
I'm in the same boat. Check this thread -
https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-xl/how-to/to-root-verizon-pixel-xl-downgrading-to-t3738613
basically, Google blocked the call recording APIs by default starting with 8.0. You'll need root access to get around it.
So there are no solution about it?

Try ACR. It works fine and I'm running 8.1. Although my device is rooted.
