I have a Sprint Note 3. I really need/want to have the wifi hot spot enabled. I'm completely new at this so I'm looking for a step by step procedure on hacking/rooting the phone(if that is what it is called) and then enabling the hotspot. Please help, I have been searching these forums and found some info, but more for those who already "rooted" their phone, which I don't even know how to do that. Please help.

U can enable it only by custom roms ok so i suggest u to use Sac23 Roms or any other custom roms for sprint n3 , as it is already added there ok ..

Whats up guys Im new to the forums Im not sure if this is the right spot for this topic but iv just only recently figured out about rooting. I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 from Verizon, could any specify me to a page or something where I can find out how to root this phone or to files that I need to root this phone. What are the perks of rooting I already know some, plus will this void my warranty, and is it true that if u unroot your phone before sending it in to your carrier for whatever reason they wont find out you rooted your phone? Thanks for the reply man but ik there is different models or whatever for the S5 i have SM-G900V will towelroot work for that plus im using the latest update for my phone so will it still work. Sorry im new to all this lol thanks though.

I have an unlocked Samsung Note 3 N900T, I want to use it with AT&T. I can make call. But I cannot use data connection although I have tried many different APN settings, nothing has worked so far. Can someone help me with this issue? Thanks

Hi I have Galaxy S7 DUOS (dual-SIM model G930FD) which I recently rooted. I have enabled CSC features related to WifI calling but still WiFi calling option does not show up. From what I read here I might need different ROM (BTU vs EE). I am not sure I totally understand the difference between the ROMs. Could somebody please explain to me what ROM I need to get WiFi calling and what are possible implications of flashing it compared to one I have now? Thanks!
My current software build number is MMB29K.G930FXXU1APB6. I plan to use WiFi calling on T-Mobile in US.

unlock means u can use any sim card into that phone.

I bought a galaxy s5 used and found out that it is sim locked through sprint. After trying to unlock it I also found out that sprint is one of a carrier that u can`t unlock! I was told that it can be rooted to work with other carriers and I think that xda has instructions on how to do this. I`m not a programmer or developer but I do investigate and try my best to learn. It would be appreciated if someone could help me.

View this forum in a browser on PC or on your phone,,look for the XDA search bar that says "search all forums".
In that bar, type:
"Sprint Galaxy S5 root"
Then you will find what you are looking for, you'll also find more information and possibly custom development for you device.
