Most of the kernels available in xda are either for cm 12 or cm 12 based roms or miui 6. I have tried RazorReborn with MIUI 7 and ended up being dead in lockscreen after boot (seriously, dont know why!) . So is there any kernels or tweaks available for MIUI 7? Rooted or unrooted?

MIUI uses an MIUI specific kernel, once your on it, don't flash any other kernels.
Search "galnet MIUI" on google, their latest weekly build should be up by tonight for the infuse. If not Galnet, you can use an MIUI build from HERE(this is the latest build of non-Galnet) or HERE(Some say this one is most stable)
Where can I find a miui kernel?
Its IN the MIUI rom you download...infuse doesn't have any modified MIUI kernels

Yeah no need to flash a kernel because the miui rom has it built in when you flash it. And don't try flashing a different kernel when you're on the rom.
Google galnet miui. The latest build should be up later on. Hopefully.

Hi xda,
I installed miui 2.9.21 a few days ago. It's the ics rom with kernel 3 and it's truly great!
That made me wonder; why don't other devs use the miui kernel 3 for their roms, since it seems to work superb?
It's the same stock kernel being used by other Rom's. Try amitbuddha's modded kernel, you'll enjoy MIUI more.

Hello,
I am using hep's ics rom.
Can I flash stock GB rom and then root it, flash custom recovery and install a custom kernel like franko's kernel over stock gb rom?
Any idea how would be the performance then?
Thanks..

You don't need to do all this stuff, there are a lot of modded stock Roms (custom kernel & rooted) available in Android Development thread, just search.
Try resurrection rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574523
If you look performance then get oxygen gb that's what i use

I am looking for battery life as good as stock ROM..
What should I go with?
1. Stock GB
2. Resurrection Rom
3. Oxygen GB
??
I used CyanogenMod 7 nightlies and I think that the battery life was longer. Now I use CyanogenMod 10.

oxygen gb for sure
Just try ressurection rom. It's really having a great battery life with very less tweaks and of course the best camera.

Do any of the Custom Kernels work on EU ROM (even though it's heavily based on MIUI)
