So i flashed cm13, and everything"s gucchi, until i try flashing a gapps. ive tried open gapps and benzo gapps, various sizes, and all of them have the same problem - as soon as i try using google apps it says "unfortunately google services frameworks has stopped"
i can go into the play store but i cant download anything, it says "error retreiving information from the server"

Hello. I have a Motorola Xoom CDMA Verizon - Stingray and I have installed CM 10.1 (past was 4.0.4). I followed all the steps on the CyanogenMod web page and I got the Google apps from goo.im/gapps (version 20130301). What happens is that the Google Play was not installed (only Google download manager and Google Play services). Then, I tryed to install a Google Play version 4.x and it crashes everytime I try to open it or refuse to open - message: "Unfortunatelly, Google play has stopped".
I have already cleared the cache, force stop, uninstall. Rebuild the CM 10.1 and install everything again. I tryed to enable/disable Google download manager, tryed to enable/disabled Google play services. Everything. Nothing seems to solve my issue.
Is this a known issue ? Can someone support me on solving this issue ?

I installed CM11 in my galaxy grand duos GTi9082. Now I cant create a google account. There is no option to create a google account. I installed google play, but it closes as soon as it is opened. Same is the issue with gmail app. When i try to open freedom, it says "google account is needed to use this application". When i open in app purchase in the game Hack EX, it says "Problem setting up in app billing. Google play in app billing not supported in this device". I tried flashing gapps but it creates lot of bugs like "process.something.something" etc has stopped. When i press ok another error message pops up. I dont care if i dont have gapps... But i somehow want to create google account...

Also on an additional note, i cant change my rom... Due to many bugs in cm11, i wiped cache, dalvic cache and did a factory data reset and flashed with cm10.1. But after that it stays at samsung logo and doesnt boot....

In opposite direction- If you can't flash any other rom via CWM (BTW- make sure to use lastest CWM version available), try to flash official build using Odin.
-The gapps error can be result of wrong/outdated gapps package, try to flash the latest one (11): http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Google_Apps
Ya jst install latest gapps it will definately solve ur google account problem
I am running Slimkat f2fs. I tried to dirty flash the latest version of ROM + slim gapps.
The device runs well but I get all these errors in the notification area saying that "An application requires installation of Google...." and the play store tries to open but never does.
I think this is all because of my 2-step authentication but I'm not sure.
I even tried removing my google account from the device and adding it again, but now I can't add it. It says trouble connecting to google. Can anyone help?

You must give us more details about your device/ROM. But I this flashing again GApps will solve this error. If not, you can try to wipe cache/dalvik and try again.

I finally got it working. As the notification errors indicated, I needed to install Google Play Services. I was pretty sure it was installed but obviously not correctly.
I downloaded a version of the google play services apk from android police and then the error changed to needing to upgrade Google Play Services (rather than needing to install). After upgrading in the play store everything is working fine now. In the end, I don't think 2-step authentication had anything to do with the issue.
BTW, reinstalling gapps, both full and mini, would not correct the error. Only installing the apk fixed things.
My device is N7 2012, "grouper". I am running the 9.0 version of Slimkat with Mkernel.
I installed cm 12.1 and flashed de gapps, but when i try to sign in with my google account i got a message that says "Unfortunately, Google Play Store has stopped"

I tried different gapps packages but the error remain.
