So I have a sm-v700 Samsung gear lying at home.. Is it possible to pair î with my moto g without root. If yes please share links to the gear manager and steps to do it.

My name is Kuba and I have a rooted Sasmung Gakaxy S4 with Cyanogenmode 12 and Samsung Gear 2 with tizen 2. I have a working Gear Manager on my phone and when I try to connect watch with phone I see this Error : HostManager has stopped working. Film in anex.

Ok. So Gear Manager 2.2+ is not supported for none Touchwiz roms. And specially Lollipop. You would need a stock TW Lollipop rom to have the latest Gear Manager app working. I recommend going back to Kitkat if you want gear 2 to work with none TouchWiz roms.

1. Download and install the following apk (from internet)
a- Gear Plugin (v.2.2.03.16033141N)
b- Samsung Gear (v2.2.16022241)
c- Samsung Accessory Service (v2.16.125)
2. Open the 'Samsung Gear' app and connect the mobile with the watch
Hey guys! I recently bought a Samsung Gear S2, and later I saw some topics about the non-compability with the Galaxy J7 ( running on Android 4.4 and higher with over 1.5GB RAM). So, I'm going to explain how I connected my mobile with the smartwatch
1. Download the following apk files, and later put them on the mobile.
2. Download/Install:

b- Samsung Gear (v2.2.16022241)
c- Samsung Accessory Service (v2.16.125)

i bought the the j5 2016 (android 6.0.1) and my father give me a gear2 for my birthday gift "thank my father any way :good:!!"
but when i try to connect my gear2 with samsung gear app it say check that your phone is NOTcompatible !!!!!
can i pair it or not.
plz help me guys i tryed everything but still the same.

can either install android wear on gear 2 or root your phone change device id to j5 to glaxy s5 or any supperted samsung device

android wear doesnt need a rooted phone and i did it.
but android wear doesnt support full hardware of gear2 (cam and hp didnt work) and battery life is sh***.
i hope to use samsung gear manager and tizen on my gear

I can not connect my smartphone with my smartwatch (Samsung Gear 2 Neo).
I have installed the APP Samsung Gear,
but when I run it, after you turn on the Blutooth and tried to connect,
Samsung Gear responds "Verify that the Samsung Gear app is compatible with your device and if an update of the software is needed".
You can help me ?
