Im new to XDA but i found that OS 4.4.4 (Not Sure if it works with Update.. Let me know) for Galaxy Note 4 can be Temporary rooted through KingRoot.Apk but i found that it reboots device whenever you use a app that requires root permission. BUTTTyou can install TWRP with temporary root, and you can install Supersu through TWRP, which when you reboot device it grants Permanent Root. i will leave link for SU file to install as soon as I figure out how.
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA assist.

So about a year ago i rooted my galaxy S4, and somehow along the way it became not rooted. I don't know how....I think it must have been the phone updating itself. I downloaded root checker and verified that my phone is not rooted.
I tried using towelroot and everything went normal except when i hit the make it rain button it told me that my phone isn't currently supported.
I googled, youtubed, and searched this forum and somewhere along the way i learned that SuperSU might be the problem. when i go and hit the Supersu icon on my phone a message box appears and says "There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem! If you just upgraded to Android 4.3, you need to manually re-root - consult the relevant forums for your device!
I tried to update it through the google play store and it didnt work, also tried to go into my files and uninstall the app that way but the uninstall button and clear data buttons are greyed out.
My device is the Samsung Galaxy S4 on verizon

SU Binary
For me I just followed the root instructions on the S4 page and when it said no SU Binary detected/needs to be updated I just let SU binary install through SuperSU from the play store.
I'm wondering if I can root my phone (Grand Prime SM-G5030AZ) again in a different one tap root way (no pc access) other than other than Kingroot. If yes, the other way will let me use supersu right away. Then maybe afterwards I can do a full unroot using supersu, possibly removing the thing which Kingroot did, leaving my phone saying custom in about phone (voiding the warranty and software updates). The main reason why I'm asking this is because Kingroot does not install the latest binaries and that's why people have issues getting supersu as superuser from Kinguser. I'm thinking that if I root my phone with another one tap root which has the ability to use supersu, I will have my binaries at the latest. Therefore maybe the Kingroot binaries that were leftover will be replaced. This would mean that if I do a complete unroot with supersu, there will be no traces of root at all in my phone after a factory data reset. But I don't know if this is all true. Can someone, please shed some light onto this. Thanks for everyone's great work and I'm looking forward to hearing from you guys.

Hello Developers. I have Samsung Galaxy Alpha SM-G850F and i want to root it..
I treid all method (i guess). I also tried Rooting method of CF AUTO ROOT FILE which i did using by Odin tool.
But the problem is after flashing the file when phone reboots it shows SuperSu on my phone but when i open it to check whether its rooted or not it ask me to update binary. And when i try to update binary from Normal Mode it says installation failed.
I also checked with Root Checker Basic App and it also says that Your phone does not have root access in red lines.
I really want to use my phone's deep features but this wont me allow.
I really expect a reliable solution from here cause this is the only place where i can find some experts , pls Devs help me to root it. ( forgot to mention i also tried the one click root method, and very similar apps to root itself by phone.) Once root checker showed that my phone is rooted when i installed a app KINGUSER , and it was working to give root access to some apps. But i want to root with SuperSu. Got really frustrated:crying: by trying this hundreds of time pls help me. (And sorry for Bad English)

I was trying to root my phone today, and I tried the Kingroot app. The Root failed - but it installed the Kinguser app. When I went to the internet for more info, I saw some posts mentioning why we shouldn't use Kingroot and why it was unsafe. I don't wan't to root my phone anymore, but now the Kinguser app is installed. I can deactivate it, but I can't delete it.
I did try uninstalling it with the method to clear root permissions, but once I click it, the app says the phone isn't rooted and cancels.
How can I remove the app?

Dear friends help me, how to root Samsung J3 Pro SM-J3110?
help
i have the same phone help me to root it
Any one who wants to help?
Wish i could ...i have the emerge version of the J3....i dont really do dev wrk but the cf autoroot for the 2016 j3lte will brick any device thats diffrent. You could get ur boot img..m.make 2 folders of android kitchen and follow the twrp port tutorial using a official twrp with same specs and chipset...then u flash the universal su update to gain root once you boot recovery.....its not extremely technical sinve kitchen scripts do all the work. Search for andrioid image kitchen tutorials..and if you hit jackpot with twrp recovery flash no-verity-disable-encryption then proper supersu file...i believe its version 2.46 to be exact as the other builds bricked my device by using wrong su.update file...so be sure first and make a adb backup....tap build number in about device till ur a developer....enable usb debug....install samsung drivers..minimal adb as well for windows or even 15 sec install by developer Snoop15 ....then type in cmd ...adb device...screen will ask if pc has 9permision ....accept...then type in cmd... adb backup -shared -apk -all...confirm it and then do whatever measures you are wiling to take...its a big risk..research all my steps....its just the info u need to find the tutorials...im in no way responsible for you breakin your phone...its just what ive learned via youtube and xda .like i said its in no way complete tutorial just a method ive started compiling on Marshmallow device since kingroot might[heard its dangerous] not and other one clicks dont support past Lollipop 5.0 . THIS IS ONLY A THEORY .....ALWAYS HAVE A REPAIR METHOD 1ST since rooting manually can brick your device into a paperweight rather quickly.

I got SE permissive with some gsm unlock. If that helps, idk what it means except my wifi and hotspot will not work and LTE is always fluctuating

Try this file to flash with odin and install Kingroot after this you have rooted your phone but if you want to replace Kingroot Su with SuperSu use the Super-sume app.
