[Completed] Rooting the galaxy s4 active (GT-I9295) - XDA Assist

Hi,
I tried to root my GS4 Active following the instructions in this site, at first by "Active root" app. but it was useless and only received this message: "This application is only suitable for S4 Active not any other devices. I tried it several times but again the same message. Then I tried another application(Towel root). This time also I had no success but another different and funny sentence:" Please check your internet connection". I tried it again and again without any result. Please tell me what to do for rooting this damn cellphone.
Thanks in advance,
Shahryar Goleyj

If I am not wrong it says I have to go into boot mode to install the root file. Please correct me if I am wrong as I dont wanna brick my phone. I am using the lenovo S820 row 8gb phone. [Completed] Towelroot questions once again.

Okay hi everyone, I literally just joined the forum, and I have questions about towelroot. I tried to use it a few minutes ago on my Samsung Galaxy A3, and it had the message "phone not supported". So I used the method where you input the specific code (the one for Galaxy devices) and when I pressed the "Make it ra1n" button, it went orange, and the app did nothing after that. Nothing more happened, no failed or succeeded message at all. Is there a way to fix this? Even if it is the temporary root, I can work with that, I'd just like to know why it won't respond and if there is a way to fix this particular problem. Thanks in advance.

[Completed] "Software Update Failed" Samsung galaxy s4 Sch-I545

While trying to downgrade from 5.1 to 4.4.2 using Odin for my Samsung galaxy S4 , the process failed and now whenever i boot my phone it says "Software Update Failed" your device didn't update successfully. use the Verizon software repair assistant on a computer to repair your device and complete the update. Then i looked around and found a way to get Verizon software update and pluged in my phone but the software can't seems to recognize my phone even though the picture showed that the phone is connected to my PC. I tried flashing the stock file for my phone (Sch-i545) but they all failed. Please help me fix this problem, i really need my phone.
Thanks.

[Completed] Samsung galaxy tab 3 (SM-T217A 4.4.2)- Any Available Root Methods?

Hi, I have a Samsung galaxy tab 3 (SAMSUNG-SM-T217A 4.4.2 KOT49H.T217AUCUBNI2) and I would really love to root my device. I've heard kingo root would work for it but I've had no such luck with both the app and the windows application. If anyone could give me some insight I would be eternally grateful. My goal is to get root, get a custom recovery, and then hopefully flash some custom ROMs to it. Once again I am extremely grateful for any help anyone can give me. Thank you for your time, XDA.
