Impossible Unlocking and Disappearing Recovery. - ONE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys !
I have an issue with my OnePlus One.
I decided to start fresh with a ROM I've been using (Cyanogen 13). After flashing it, I decided to set up my settings before installing any apps. I created my pattern (4x4) and then, an other guest as I have two google account. One this second account, I created a pattern (3x3).
After a few minutes, I wanted to go back to main user but the pattern was different. It has become a 3x3 pattern and I can't find a way to unlock my phone.
I wanted to wipe everything but I can boot on recovery. My phone shows me the OnePlus logo without Android below it and it stays like this until I turn it off.
So, the recovery might have dissapeared. The problem is that I can't access my main account to turn on 'usb debugging'.
Do you have any solution ? Thank you in advance guys.

You should be able to enter the different accounts by clicking on the profile pic at the top-right of the lockscreen. Lets hope you can enter your phone the way. Otherwise I would recommend flashing TWRP again. Just lemme know if you need help, I'm almost always on standby.

Recovery can be manually accessed by
1.powering off
2. hold vol down + power until the phone vibrates
3. when the phone vibrates let go of power but keep hold of vol down
4. let go of vol down when the TWRP logo (or your recovery) shows. Note you should wait at least 5mins to be safe. Mine has taken 2mins on occasions
I do not think I am aloud to post links but there is a youtube video which I do it in time with If im worried I bricked it
Follow a youtube video called "How to Reset OnePlus One | Hard Reset | Factory Setting | Original Setting | Recovery Mode" from 15s and follow it until you get into recovery (in time with it)

SORRY FOR BAD LANGUAGE...but i really realy realy need help

hi all,
heres the deal. i rooted my defy with superoneclick, it worked great.
heres the problem and what i think is the cause but i need a solution!
PROBLEM: i switch my phone on, it starts normally
motoblur screen
then
T mobile screen
then
the normal swipe unlock
i ulnlock it fine but as soon as i do the wallpaper dissapears/goes black. i cannot access any apps. none of the buttons work (menu,home,return/back,search) but the info bar/ menur bar thing at the top that swipes down works fine and what ever is in it works fine i.e when i plug into usb im able to choose portal and tools and those other 3. but when i just leave my phone on lock then press power button/activate unlock screen. it will show normal background with time and everything looks normal.
the CAUSE ( i think )
i was installing apps and deleting motoblur stuff. but it it was one of those two, i isntalled an app and i deleted a file at the same sort of time. the app installed was some startup app killer or a firewall of some type. or it could have been that i deleted an apk file that had a real short name i think, like blur.apk
PLEASE HELP ME. I need a solution FAST its my first smartphone ever and i paid alot for it. if you need my phone info it was
moto defy android 2.1 uk version but then rooted with super one click
THANK YOU IN ADVANCED FOR ANY HELP

i sent you a pm too. thanks for being so quick to reply. but i dont know how to do that stuff im a noob this is my first androidsmartphone ever but im a very quick learner
all good. For my phone. ( droid incred.) when the phone is off i hold power and the volume up key. then i select recovery using the volume keys. I know the buttons to push are different on some phones so you might neeed to use google to find the right 2 keys to hold down while booting
i currently have it in boot loader mode, it says battery ok, ok to program, transfer mode, usb. and thats all it says. no recovery options at all
Ok, found this in another forum. this is how to get into your boot menu i guess:
The boot menu happends when you press the volume down key and the power button.
When it takes you to the triangle part press the volume up key and the power button this action brings up another menu on which you can reboot and other settings.
the first triangle with exclamation mark inside it with the lil andorid man comes up, but the second menu doesnt, im holding vol down and power to get up this image, the to get second one you say to do vol up and power...i tried it, held it for a while but still no joy
ok, give this a try
"If you swipe the bottom right corner when you see the triangle you will get a menu. From there you can reboot or reset"
Still looking for more
nope sorry still dont work. i really appreciate you spending your time doing this it realy does mean ALOT. thank you i hope the solution isnt far away!
Ok, this is from the t-moble forms:
One suggestion...
Pull the battery.
Hold down the volume down key and press the power button.
Continue to hold the volume down key until you seem something happening on the screen.
This should boot you into recovery mode, you'll see a little green Android stood next to a yellow warning sign.
Press the bottom-right corner of the screen, a menu should appear.
Use the volume keys to scroll up and down.
Scroll to 'Wipe DATA/factory reset' and press 'ok' (bottom-left of screen) - you may need to re-confirm in a sub-menu.
After the wipe completes, scroll to the 'reboot' option and press 'ok'.
If you do that, you completely wipe the handset, same as if you performed a full factory reset on the handset.
Obviously, this will get rid of anything you have on the handset but if your only other option is an exchange, you've nothing to lose really.

it says it worked that it did the reset properly but still same original problem.
it says first line....
E:cant open /cache/recovery/command
that is in the recovery mode / reset
do you have a rom that you can try to flash? any rom really just to rule out a rom issue. you can try to find a rom here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=855&order=desc&page=1
im going to give it a try ill get back to you to let you know how its going within the next 20 mins, thanks for all your help
here is an option for a factory reset.
1. Turn the power off on the Defy (if it's frozen, pull the battery out & reinsert it)
2.Hold the volume down button
3. Press and hold the button until the device turns on
4. You'll get a menu that allows FASTBOOK, RECOVERY, CLEAR STORAGE, and SIMLOCK
5. Select CLEAR STORAGE, by pressing the Volume Down button
6. Press and release the Power
7. Now just confirm your decision Volume Up for YES, Volume Down for NO
it says on rsd lite . fail flashing process. unable to retrieve initialization values from INI (0x07029);phone connected
isnt working for some reason
that menu...mine says
from top to bottom
Android system recovery <2a>
reboot system now
apply sdcard:update
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
(then at the bottomit says...)
E:cant open /cache/recovery/command.
but yet it will still go through the process like it is working but it doesnt fix it
Did you try the top option. Android system recovery <2a>
i wish i had that same phone to replicate this problem
im sorry i didnt write it clear enough the top android recovery thing isnt an option, its like the header/title for the program or page its written in red. the options to choose are in blue

Nexus S 4G Bootloop

I do not know where to post this besides here. I have a SPRINT Nexus S 4G phone with stock Ice Cream Sandwhich. Never rooted or touched bootloader or anything of that sort.
After updating to ICS via OTA.. the phone loves to randomly reboot itself whenever it feels like. Annoying but I could live with it. Anyways I take my phone out of my pocket today and it is turned off... annoyed I turn it back on.. google logo.. animated squares... and then stuck at squares...(Bootloader shows locked etc, recovery does nothing)(I have to pull battery to reboot phone... back to squares though) I understand I will lose data if I have to wipe the phone.. but it looks like I am not going to be able to back up any of my phone numbers.. precious pictures or music? I do not have insurance through Sprint.
Whats the next logical step to fixing this?
EDIT: Bootloader information
Product Name - Herring
HW VERSION - REV 34
BOOTLOADER VERSION - D720SPAKE1
BASEBAND VERSION - D720SPALC1
CARRIER INFO - SPA
SERIAL NUMBER - 33324E0247AF00EC
LOCK STATE - LOCKED
EDIT 2: Downloaded all of the files needed to reflash / stock ICS.. I already use PDANET so I don't need phone drivers.. my phone was in debug mode before it crashed. Plug it in.. get to the Triangle information icon..
"fastboot.exe flash boot boot.img"
< waiting for device >
Ideas? Or how do I properly do this by myself? One Click Stock cannot detect my phone
Ok follow this steps
1. Turn off your phone
2. Press and hold volume down and power button at the same time.
3. Youll see an android logo. Now tick your volume down to navigate to recovery select by pressing power button
4 in recovery use volume rockers also to navigate through options and power button also to select.
5. Now select wipe cache. I think stock recovery have wipe dalvik too. So wipe it too.
6. Reboot
If if your phone happens to reboot itself again after doing this steps. Repeat my procedure this time wipe your data you can select this also on stock recovery.and start from scratch. Dont worry your pictures , musics, videos and other stuffs on your sdcard will not be touch. It will just clear all your installed apps.

Ok. I have had the same problem on my Google Nexus S with the boot loop and also the random reboots. This is what I have done to fix this problem.
1. I download an automatic task killer and set it to like every 10 - 20min to clear running apps.
OR
2. Go to your recovery by going into fastboot mode going select recovery. Once in recovery, press the volume down. I hold both up and down and the power button together. You should come up with a menu that says reboot system now, apply update from sd card, wip data factory reset or wipe cache partition. Then navigate to the wipe data menu and select it. Hit yes and there you go. It worked for me. Reply and tell me if it worked for you. FYI, it should reboot by it self, if not just select reboot now and reboot it.

Help with reseting

Hi,
Yesterday I upgraded the phone to last aospa version (no other modification such as kernel, etc.). Today, I installed Android Auto and also ungranted permissions to some apps to not to access to my location. But then, after 1 hour, i think, the phone got into a bootloop. I can't reboot into recovery as as soon as I get into the screen to choose between "Start"/"Recovery"/"Power off"/... it reboots again. It reboots so fast I don´t have time to choose fastboot or recovery, even sometimes I managed to change to "restart bootloader" but even if I press the power button to select this option, the phone reboots. Also, If I connect the phone to the grid, the phone doesn´t stop rebooting.
So, I can´t keep the phone turn on enough to go to recovery and reset or select the fastboot to reset it from the computer.
I´ve also posted this in the aospa forum, as it could be a software bug.
Help please.
Thanks.
It looks like dead power button. There are few threads abut it:

Moto G7 Power XT1955-5: Stuck in BootLoop at "Unlocked and Can't Be Trusted"

Moto G7 Power XT1955-5: Stuck in BootLoop at "Unlocked and Can't Be Trusted"
I made several attempts to install twrp-3.4.0-0-ocean to this new Moto G7 Power. I was able to Unlock the Bootloader, and even had TWRP running twice., but after it was rebooted it would never go back to TRWP, it would reboot to the Stock ROM. Then, runnng adb reboot bootloader would bring me back to the stock bootloader page.
Each time it boots, it has displayed the "Your Device Has Been Unlocked and Can't Be Trusted." page, and then would eventually boot. Annoying, but ok. It is what it is.
However, this last attempt to reboot from the stock bootloader has created an endless bootloop to that "Cant Be Trusted" page.
No combos of holding down the down volume for 3 seconds with the power key.. or holding down the power key for 15 or 20 seconds.. nothing works. All it does it turn the screen off for a couple of seconds and then goes back to the "Can't Be Trusted" warning page.
Well.. turns out it does work, it's just finnicky. This video showed me how to do it.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fA0DHvbIlWY
Holding down the Down Volume and Power for several seconds until the screen goes black, release the buttons, then waiting a moment will allow the bootloader to appear.
1- Should I replace the stock rom? If so, how? I can't boot far enough along to run adb push.. and TWRP will not run.
What I cant do now is factory restore the device. Where can I get a stock rom, or any suggestions? I am pretty sure that's what I get for trying to use the xt1955_5.img file from Minimal+adb_fastboot_platform-tools_r29.0.6_2020 on unofficialtwrp.com's how to page, right?
Thanks in advance..

Glad you're out of boot loop.
Recovered from bootloop and "dead" bootloader screen! Tips to recovery
I was able to Rescue the device from periodic BootLoops and a dead end Bootloader screen.
I referenced the information on this thread in the XDA forums, specifically the “Motorala Unbricking Tools” section.
I then tried the "LMSA: Lenovo's Motorola Smart Assistant" thread to find the link to the Lenovo / Motorola download page.
The Rescue software is a bit clunky. Powerful, but clunky.
There are also some cool tools such as Clipboard Copy Text between Device and PC, a Gif Maker, a Ringtone Maker, and a SCREEN RECORDER!!
Back on Track with the Rescue:
-Linux or Mac versions are NOT available; Windoze only.
-You will need at least 2gb of ram in your virtual Windoze7 machine to run it or it will not run in a useful manner.
- Parallels16/Windoze7-64bit worked fine.
-WINE based installs will NOT work.
To run, you will need to enable USB Debugging, although there are two other ways to connect the phone I did not also try. There even appears to be a way to rescue even a truly bricked dead device.
To Rescue your device:
Download, Install, and Run Rescue and Smart Assistant.
The Rescue process will NOT relock your bootloader.
Select the Rescue tab, then select Rescue Now. If you need to backup the device, try the Backup button right next to the Rescue Now button.
The application has some bugs, shortcomings.. here's some heads up to reduce Stress caused by those bugs..
The software will ask you to select the phone you own. The slider dialogue UI is badly done, so you will go back and forth a dozen times before learning how to navigate the menu. It might auto-recognize, but it did not on mine. Good luck!
Next, download the ROM.. the progress bar does not reflect what is actually going on. Once the 2bg down is 100% complete, it will sit there for a LONG TIME doing nothing. Dont kill the app and restart. It's actually busy unpacking the .zip Rom file into a directory tree on your harddrive. Just go eat some lunch, and come back.
Then, a similar issue occurs when you install the ROM. The progress bar is pretty much done, it just sits there doing nothing.. Let it go for a long time.. it's actually doing it's job, and the progress bar is just badly done.
If you are going to use the backup.. TURN OFF YOUR POWERSAVING stuff on both ends. If it is interupted by Power Saving/Sleep mode, the software will start at the beginning. The backup process takes hours, not minutes, so this is not a good result.
Once backed up, if you are moving to a new phone, there is a couple of ways to do that. I am going to perform these functions today or tomorrow, and will update with the results of those efforts.

Need help with my Google FRP locked [non-rooted] LGL455DL

I made the mistake of Factory Resetting my phone after a few failed attempts at remembering the Pattern to unlock the phone, in doing so I ended up being stuck in the set-up process because I forgot the Google account I was logged into on it before the Factory Reset, had been an account I just quickly made on the spot months ago just to set up an app on it. I'm posting here for help with this since I'm on day 4 of trying to find a way to bypass this and my head is ready to explode. I feel like someone with a fresh mind would be able to point me in the right direction.
If anyone can let me know if I'm doing something wrong or missing some steps that will help me try any one of these, or honestly any advice at all... I'd very much appreciate it and it'd help relieve a huge chunk of this ridiculous headache this has all been.
Thanks in advance!
What I've tried thus far --
- I know for most ways around this, USB debugging needs to be enabled. But since I cannot get past the initial set-up process, I can't access the settings to enable it.
- I also know that for a lot of Android devices USB debugging is enabled by default in Recovery Mode but everywhere I've searched for the hardware combination to boot into Recovery/Download mode, all say the same thing:
Turn phone off > Power up with Vol. Down + Power button until 'Download Mode' is displayed (for boot into Download mode, while holding Vol. Down + Power button plug OTG cable into device)
- My problem with this is that on my device, Vol. Down + Power button, restarts the phone. So instead of 'Download Mode', I'm just restarting the phone over and over again. I was able to get my phone to boot into was Safe mode using the Power button + Side button.
- I've also tried getting around this through a series of steps which involved the 'TalkBack' accessibility feature, but when I try toggling to enable it I just get a message saying "Complete setup first to continue"
From there --
I started looking up Stock ROMs that I'd be able to just flash the firmware. But for the life of me, I cannot seem to find anything for this device. And this is where I'm pretty much at now.
To remove FRP lock you boot into phone's Recovery mode and apply
1. Wipe data
2. Factory Reset
Every Android device gets shipped by default with Android Recovery.

I can't get my device to boot into Recovery mode. Everywhere I look up, it tells me to Power off device, then Press Vol. Down + Power key until the menu appears. But on my device, all that combination does is force the phone to restart.
