Maybe you find it helpful for you. I didn't know I can transfer files between 2 watches too.
Cheers!

I use Bluetooth Plugin to transfer files from my Windows direct to my Gear. It works for me. Yesterday I transferred ROM files to Gameboy Advance emulator on my watch.
This plugin (exe file) works on computer (Windows), not Android phone. You have to run exe file on computer, then launch Filesmaster on Gear watch and click icon with
Bluetooth. Then watch start to listen to incoming files. After that you can choose files on computer, search for Gear watch and Send files. Sometimes it doesn't work
because Bluetooth on watch. Filesmaster author it described on his page.
BT Plugin for computer you can download from http://slandmedia.com/apps/gear/Filesmaster/#aDownload
Here you can read about how to transfer files http://slandmedia.com/apps/gear/Filesmaster/#aFiletransfer
Read part Connecting by Bluetooth plugins - troubleshootings.

I'll have a look at that thank you. Does any one know if it's possible to change the full firmware on the watch. My watch is a Australian build and I'm from the UK, it was bought as a gift for me. I can't use like Samsung pay on the watch because my bank is UK and the version of pay doesn't see my card as supported bank.

[Q] Jdownloader alternative for Android

Im looking for some sort of download manager for Android thats a bit like JDownloader.
You know where you can simply add in your premium accounts for various sites and then download files using the download manager.
Is there anything like this?
I'm interested too!!
However, there are MyDownloads(1,50E) which support fileserve and megaupload, Download All Files(free), Download Buddy(0,70E) but this is a background service, ByteTornado(free) and some other minor things ...but none of these have the configurability and "the power" at least similar to Jdownloader or related download manager for pc.
Regards
Any new app?! I need a similar app! :-(
tried pyLoad?
pyLOAD is a client like jdownloader rc... I need a software that help me to download files directly from hosting site, to my dispositive.
I am currently using an ASUS EEE Pad Transformer, running Honeycomb 3.3...
Please if someone knows any solution, answer the question. Bye
try Premium Downloader apk v1.07
I have found sitesharing manager which work fine, for who is interested.

Is it perhaps possible to use JDownloader via Java-Emulator?
Java (Like the "j" in JDownloader) should be platform independet after all.
Also Jiaz (JD-Admin) hinted that there will be something aimed at android but only after JD2 is finished. (I'm not allowed to post Links, but it translates into something as "JD for android... wait for it, we might have something in the bag of tricks but that will take some time because we got more urgent stuff to do.)
I know, it's an old thread - but I just want to inform you guys that there is an jdownloader alternative for android and it works like a charm
It doesn't need an client on your PC, it's a standalone aplication.

Are any of these apps have the option of jdownloader to restart rooter to get new ip and download again 2
without wait?
I dont think so..
I use JDownloader for 2 viewing/listening offline two sources, youtube and mixcloud. Can someone verify if they work on the tool of your preference. I believe most are with Ponydroid.
Well, I have been using Android Download Manager (ADM) for past couple of months now and it works great. I think it uses the part downloading method same as IDM for desktop, haven't really seen a speed boost though.
To bad these apps don't resolve those stupid advertisement sites the links are hidden in. JD for PC seems to work with 90% of them while PD does maybe 5%.
I use LoaderDroid, so far so good
Alternatief dit jdownloader android

Yes, after tried i decide buy it. Good app

[APP][4.1+] File Beam - Send files with Android Beam™

File Beam is a quick application to send files using Android Beam™ (requires 4.1 and NFC hardware)
You've probably used Android Beam™ before, the AOSP Gallery, Contacts, Browser etc all use it.
However, I haven't seen any file managers that implement sending files using Android Beam™, so I made this app.
To use it, tap the share button on any file in any file manager, then tap two devices together.
The API to send files using Android Beam™ was added in 4.1, so the application won't work on anything before that (both devices need 4.1, but only the sender needs the app)
This application is ad-supported, there's a donate button in the app, but please note, it does NOT disable ads, this isn't a con scheme or anything, but this is my first Android app, and until I figure out how to track donations using an API or otherwise, that's how it's going to be (patch welcome though!)
The application is also open source, licensed under GPLv3, with the source available on Github: https://github.com/MohammadAG/android-file-beam

Does it use the Bluetooth to transfer the file or Wifi Direct? Just to be clear, what I know is that NFC is only used to initiate the connection, then depending on the application it either sends the data by Wifi Direct or bluetooth. So which one does this uses? Sorry I haven't tried it yet, I only have one phone but Good Job mate.
Best of luck for the future.
EDIT: Sorry my bad, just read the description in the playstore and it uses Bluetooth.

The official docs say that Android Beam decides what to use. So afaik it should use either WiFi direct or bluetooth depending on the situation (in all my tests it used Bluetooth)

I love the concept of this app but why not force it to send files with nfc+wifi direct? bluetooth its useless for sending files, too damn slow :crying:
All I get is a notification on the device receiving the file saying "Incoming beam", and bluetooth turns on for both the devices, but no file is ever sent. I'm using the N4 and N7, is anyone else getting this?
Thank you for this! I just used NFC for the first time today and I was shocked to see this wasn't a built in Android feature. I saw the article on the main page and I quickly downloaded.

Blank & empty Samsung gear app store

Just tested again on my wife's LG G3 isai, the store showed up without any problem. So maybe something from Huawei is blocking it in my phone
I also have a huawei x2 (china rom), same blank screen in app store.
beside, there is no message app in the watch.
is your huawei x2 a china rom, or international rom?
did the s2 watch show message app icon, when it connect to your watch, or your wife's lg?
I have to install Google message app to get message showed up in S2

I did try to root my phone, install CFW (remove all Chinese app included Phone manager..) but still no help

did you try replace a international rom?
Have the same problem on my Meizu MX3 (totally blank and empty Gear Apps Store). Everything else works fine for me (notifications, S health, settings in Gear app).
I installed Samsung Gear, Gear plugin, Samsung Accessories Service, S Health from Play Market without any problems. And even Samsung Account and Galaxy Apps marker from side-loaded apks.
Have anyone resolved this problem?

well, it allow me to install and launch galaxy store, can see gear's apps over there,
when I try to install any gear's app, it say my gear is not connected(but actually is connected).

Can't find speedometer

Hey there, on Samsung's official videos, we can see a speedometer (like this : https://youtu.be/r2sXbVjrEck?t=17s) which use GPS to track the speed of the user but I can't find it on my Gear S3, I got the Altimeter/Barometer but not the Speedometer. I bought it yesterday in France, everything works fine expect for this. Does anyone have an idea of what could I do to recover this functonnality?
Thanks !

There is a Speedometer app in the Gear Store
.
I am interested in this too. Nothing in the galaxy app store looks like the app that is displayed in the official Samsung video. The speedometer app in the video looks like a Samsung Electronics LTD app, just like the stopwatch and the timer apps.
Same here!! Spotify, Samsung Pay and the Speedometer all still unavailable. Poor. Loving the watch though.

On Samsung Gear Store, there's nothing but themes for the watch with Speedometers
I think it's not cool for Samsung to show things which are not there in the definitive version of the watch Especially when people buy it for these functionnalities

Not true. There are two apps, one is called "SpeedLimit", which looks good and free, however only has Km/h option but does also offer road speed limits (where supported on Open Street Maps). The second app is called "Speedometer MPH-KM/H" Not as attractive but offers MPH and costs £1.35
No sign (yet) of the Speedometer app that appeared on Samsung's launch videos.
.

This is nuts. Only making apps available in certain markets doesn't make any sense. I bought the Frontier so I could run Samsung Pay and now Samsung says it isn't available in Canada even though I can have Samsung Pay on my Phone?? As you said, none of the apps in the app store look like the speedometer apps on the advertising. You watch, Spotify will come out for the US and no one else??
The Speedometer app was only just released. It's available in Australia.
EDIT: I saw it in the Galaxy Apps store yeste4rday, but it's not showing now for some reason.
Now it is mia in the United States. If I search for "Speedometer For Gear", it does not show up. If I check "my apps", it is listed there.
It's back in the USA, as of today. This time it loaded fine and is working.

Is the app there, because I just got the gear sport and I don't see that app.

So, apparently the S* has no camera surround shot mode (or am I dense)?

I loved the camera surround shot mode on my note phones, but can't seem to find it or where to DL it for the S8+. If I recall correctly it had to be downloaded with the note phones.
Am I missing something, or doesn't it exist yet? It was cool shooting surround shots and then viewing them with the Gear VR.
Thanks!

Thank you, Captain! Your post gave me a clue.
Like you I also had it installed on my previous phone, a Note 5. But like I said, the option to down load it is not presented for my S8+ for some reason. Even searching for "Surround Shot" didn't work.
However, thanks to your clue I was able to open the "Galaxy Apps" app and then at the top of that app next to the search bar there are three little dots. I tapped the dots, selected "My Apps", "All", and then I was able to see all of the Samsung Apps which I have ever DL'd onto any of my previous Samsung phones. All I had to do was download "Surround Shot". Nice!

Rear-cam selfie
Beauty face
Sports shot
Dual camera
and a ton of other Samsung and 3rd party apps and plug-ins.

As far as I can tell the mode doesn't exist for download yet. I can see other modes to DL, just not surround shot.

Nice!

Thanks, that worked for me!

Thank you!
I had it on my S6E and when I wanted to install it on my Note 7 I couldn't find it in Galaxy Apps or anywhere. I did a search yesterday to install it on my S8+ since I have a Gear VR and it still wasn't there.
Doing the above gave me back Surround Shots.
It shows up for me as "Virtual shot". I didn't have to download anything extra.
