Putting T-Mobile ROM on D850 - AT&T LG G3

Hello,
I have an unlocked LG G3 D850 but now use it on the T-Mobile network.
Can I put the T-Mobile ROM on the AT&T phone? If so, is it the same process as installing any other custom ROM?

No. Go for it if you want a paperweight.

Like the question the asks, I have a rooted TMO G3 running custom roms and looking at moving over to ATT and trying to see if I need to ditch the root and custom roms and go back to stock condition before sim unlocking. I have posted same question my TMO G3 forum. Any and all help is appreciated.

You shouldn't have to you. My att D850 is sim unlocked and used on TMO. I still have to use ATT roms.
All you do is shut off the phone, put in a sim from another carrier and boot up. You should then get prompted to enter the unlocked code and walla.

thanks for the reply but since I have a t-mobile G3 and been running root and custom roms since the very first days, I am a little wary about doing this for going to ATT

[Q] I have T-Mobile SGS6 flashed with a Metro PCS firmware, can I root?

LG G3 Sim Unlock

I bought a Sim unlocked AT&T LG G3 phone from aliexpress. I want to know if I can install custom ROM without breaking the unlock?

LG G Stylo order of procedures.

Hi. I was given a Cricket LG G Stylo to play around with. Previously I have messed around with my HTC Sensation where I which I unlocked the bootloader, did s-off, flashed a custom recovery, and permanent rooted. Can I do all of that with the Cricket version of the LG G Stylo? Most of the threads I've read only talk about rooting the Cricket Stylo but nothing else.
So basically:
1) would I be able to unlock the phone to be use with other carriers? If so, do I do that first or last? And where can I find this info?
2) How can the bootloader be unlocked?
3) If s-off doable on this phone or is that only for HTC phones?
4) How can the stock recovery and ROM be backed up?
5) Are there any working custom recoveries for the Cricket version?
Thanks

Is it possible to flash the LG G3 D850 with the rom of G3 D855? I want to be able to use any carrier I want.

No. Never flash different model firmware... you can root and flash a custom rom though
To be able to use the phone on a different carrier you would need to unlock it, the software doesn't change what networks it runs on.

If it's not sim unlocked no. You need an unlock code which can be found on various sites and eBay.
