How to make android device always in wake mode? - General Questions and Answers

After successful root of my device. Now, I need to make device always in wake state. To do so I think I've to accomplish following :
No lock screen - turned off
Sleep set to “never”
Daydream set to “off”
What I found is all about application layer i.e. there are some applications which can do above tasks. But since my mobile is rooted I want to achieve with system files so that even if some other applications try to change above functionalities then they should not be able to do so.

u have to install xPosed framework in ur device.... in xPosed there is many modules that can do it for u

SuperSU / Superuser just an app for rooted apps to get the permission,
What u news is a root explorer and grant the permission and all the craps app u want to remove are located in system/app
:banghead:
hey.. i think u r a newbie... to freeze apps u need a third party app from the play store.. I use Titanium Backup Pro.. It can also be used to backup ur apps+their data....
System Tuner is also a good one..

[Q] Yelo (Telenet) app with root

This app doesn't work on rooted smartphones, before I had a trick using SuperSU (Option to disable superuser) and after that it worked, But now even doing this trick it still say's I'm using a rooted smartphone, so I can't watch Live TV , Does someone now how to hide root from this app?
Thanks in advance, any help is appreciated!

Yes, but it say's it's not compatible with the Yelo app because it uses a special method to detect root or something like that, so it will not work.

Would also like to know as the only reason I'm stock is cause Sky Go doesn't work with root and rootcloak doesn't work either. If XPrivacy works then I'm game to try it

It was way easier before, Then you just needed to disable Superuser in SuperSU settings, But since the latest version it detects root via the native library (built with Android NDK)
deleted
i DISabled su under the shell directory in xprivacy... the first time it didn't work either, but now it does (i might have uninstalled it and then reinstalled it while blocking su at first startup... i didn't disable anything else
i'm rooted and using supersu, i'm on latest stock on both devices, and i use xposed
i hope it works for you too...
here's also some proof

It didn't work for me either, so i was testing all kind of scenario's and SUCCESS I have live yelo tv on my rooted kitkat
The exposed library actually works but the yelo app, caches the root detection once at the beginning.
Uninstalling has no effect because when you uninstall and re-install it still finds this previous detection from somewhere.
I made it work by using titanium backup and there clearing all application data, after that you have to re-input all your credentials and it will tell you "Eerste keer laden, gelieve te wachten" and tadaaa there is live tv
I hope this works for you too now

hi, I don't get it
so you followed the youtube movie,
1. renamed build.prop,
2. Opened titanium backup
3. searched in the apps the Yelo app
4. cleared the data
5. opened SuperSU,
6. disabled Superuser
7. Opened Yelo + entered credentials
Not working here that way. it is also a rooted kitkat.
help? :cyclops:
Xposed +rootcloak? Maybe it works now?

You need xposed + root talk after that you need a reboot.
Then you open titanium, search for yelo app and delete cache.
Now you open help, re_enter credentials and it should work

Ok, let's check what I have, maybe you can find a difference
I have omega ROM for Galaxy Note 3 based on Android 4.4
SuperSU 1.93 -> must be enabled to be able to hide the root (strange but don't forget it)
Xposed installer 2.4.1
xposed Framework:
app process 47
xposedbridge 42 (After update you need to restart)
Xposed modules:
Check that Rootcloack 1.4 is installed and enabled (Reboot required again)
Wanam Exposed 2.8.4
Can you check this all ?
Afterward -> delete all yelo cache/files by using Titanium

[Q] S-Health no longer works. Tried several things. How to fix?

Ever since I have installed Xposed Framework, S-Health comes up with the error "Unfortunately, S Health has stopped." I have tried to changing ro.securestorage.support=false and deleting the S Health cache/data. Nothing has worked.
I am running a deodexed stock rooted 4.4.2 NE5 rom. Any help is appreciated!
Uninstall Xposed, reboot, force stop shealth and then clear cache, reboot and try again?
I have never gotten Shealth to work while Xposed is installed, even if I change the secure value.

Search for "Wanam Xposed" and install it in Xposed mod - I think it has an option to enable the "private" (or secure folder) I forget which affects S-health...
IMPORTANT!!!: Make sure you backup your feature.xml file (in the system/csc folder) - When you change anything in Wanam Xposed mod, it will completely re-make your feature.xml, and I had to manually edit mine a few times to get my settings back to the way I wanted. This is a personal warning from me to you! If you can edit your .xml file yourself, and if you're sure you know what you're doing, you'll have no problems.
I know I read something that S-Health has to do with not running because of the private folder (or system folder/partition or whatever it is...)
Google around if Wanam Mod doesn't fix it and do some research you'll find more info about it.

Had this problem. What I did was odin stock/factory reset. Rooted with towelroot(on 4.4.2) before I did anything with s health OR PRIVATE MODE(MOST IMPORTANT THING, DO NOT OPEN FINGERPRINT, S HEALTH, OR PRIVATE MODE). installed xposed and the module xsecure (samething is in wanam, they are both made by wanam, xsecure is meant if you don't want wanam). And then you can open private mode and set it up, and samething with s health after xposed is installed with xsecure or wanam. Also disabling knox with superSU doesn't seem to matter at all. As long you install xposed before you open any of those apps it should work.

Hey, this is the link from @lahegry that worked for me. https://mega.nz/#F!b9hG1Y4Q!z4xHvUzAjjmr16_oHWAjIw
Instructions:
0) Be rooted (duh)

3) Check to see if it worked properly by going to the Framework tab
4) If you got the green, enjoy! If not, check to make sure root is properly installed and your FlashFire has proper access. Then re-flash and try the process over again.

The other file is the flashable .zip file.
Assuming you already have your Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge rooted, you need to install FlashFire from the Google Play store.
After you have installed FlashFire, click the little plus button and select 'Flash ZIP or OTA'. Then select that zip file you downloaded from my site.
After that, it will pop up a box. Leave the settings as they are and continue, then click 'Flash'
Your screen WILL black out for a bit and take a while to boot. That is NORMAL. Please, DO NOT PANIC. The app will warn you this as well.
Do not install the apk file until you have flashed the zip
Let me know if you need anymore help!

Hi there,
I use YouTube ad away, for obvious reasons.
Xkik for extra kik features such as disabling read receipts and slight theming choices
Whatsapp emoji replacer - choice of what emojis you want in kik, doesn't show for the other party though
Whatsapp extensions - more features for whatsapp such as always show online and more
Rootcloak- for apps that won't let you use them if you are rooted
iFont- change fonts, not only system wide but on a per-app level
Most of these are for theming, and there are probably more I would use, just haven't found them yet.
Xposed working for Nougat with stang5litre 5.0 Edition s7 Edge N Rom
Hello,
This is a update from my last post of Xposed install, no need to do any flash, just install Xposed Installer 3.1.2. I'm running the S7 Edge G935V with Xposed working great. Downloaded Xposed installer by Rovo89 from this link XposedInstaller_3.1.2.apk or "This Link" then updated Xposed Framework to 88.1, works amazingly with nougat!
Here is a helpful link "working modules for Nougat Xposed" I was also able to get Greenify working with Xposed, It will only work with this Beta version, you can get it from this link Greenify.v3.7.1.apk, I have also tried Amplify, convert it to System App and change all files permission to 777, then set "SELinux Toggler" to "PERMISSIVE" mode, reboot your device, once the device has booted back up, confirm the change. I've installed AFWall+ and its working well. One of the apps I installed called Xprivacy has had to many glitches and made the system slow, I wouldn't recommended installing Xprivacy. The new stang5litre 5.0 Edition s7 Edge N Rom runs great, love it!
If you notice a lag, then do a cache clean. I use TB to clean cache, system logs and Dalvik cache, now ram is back to normal. I also use a application from play store called "HEBF Optimizer Root" this application aims to increase the performance of your device.
Hopefully this helps :good:
DONT, do as said in this last post. I did.
Now to figure out how to get phone back to working. Never had to do this without twrp before.

Guide for installing Xposed framework after flashing?

I was looking through the threads about rooting our S7e devices, and ended up not being able to get back to the post where it showed which files needed to flash Xposed framework on our recently rooted devices. So, here is a short and simple guide to installing XPOSED framework, thanks to stormonya! Thanks!
Guide by stormonya:
1. DOWNLOAD FLASHFIRE FROM THE PLAY STORE
2. DOWNLOAD XPOSED APK AND ARM64 FRAMEWORK ZIP FROM HERE:http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960
3.INSTALL XPOSED APK.
4. OPEN FLASHFIRE AND GIVE SUPERSU PERMISSION AND FLASH THE XPOSED FRAMEWORK ZIP YOU DOWNLOADED...
5.PHONE WILL REBOOT AND OPTIMIZE APPS AND LOAD UP.....IT WILL TAKE 15 MINUTES....AND THEN BOOM!!!! YOU'RE ALL XPOSED!!!
Edit:
Version 86.0 does NOT work as I previously stated. I had to revert to 85.1 custom in order to get it to stick. Sorry for the mistake guys.
Here are the two files you need in order to get xposed working properly
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24572330218881466 - this is version 85.1 custom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3383776&d=1435601440 - Xposed installer 3.0 alpha 4 apk
Use flashfire from the play store to flash the zip file. When it reboots, expect it to take several minutes to optimize your apps. After that, you should be good to go! Sorry again for the mistake!

I am searching for which files are needed for installing Xposed framework on our s7e phones, after being rooted. I know it is discussed/buried in at least two other threads, but I am having trouble finding the exact posts while using a mobile browser. Could someone please post a quick run through with links to the appropriate files. I'm sure this will help others as well. Thanks in advance!

Ok guys, I'm sorry for posting that version 86.0 worked flawlessly. It appeared to install fine, and work OK. But, upon rebooting the device, xposed ceased to function. So, I ended up going back to 85.1

It shouldn't ask you for a recovery to use....you select "FLASH ZIP OR OTA" select the zip that was downloaded...make sure it is the ARM64 SDK23 Version. It will flash and reboot.

I really enjoy Gravity Box. There are a lot of status bar customizations, as well as a ton of other customizations for other Android features as well.

I didn't add anything new that should have broken the framework. I'm going to try and upgrade to 86 in the morning. Could have just been a fluke. I'll update the OP if everything goes well. Thanks for letting me know that you got it working!
