Memory Optimization - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all!
I have a N5 820 16GB vers.
ROM: xTraFactory (Latest MM)
Kernel: ElementalX
In my others smartphones, I liked include the system application updates in the system memory using Link2SD , but now this is impossible because my memory system is almost fully complete.
As a result, now I have several system applications occupying system memory and internal memory.
What do you recommend?
Do I remove and reinstall applications so that only occupy internal memory? ummm...
thanks!

[Q] Use of ROM (Memory) in Android Devices

I am going to ask very basic question regarding ROM in Android Device.
Searched for Android Devices and found as below (different devices):
1) Memory - 1 GB RAM, 4 GB ROM
2) Memory - 1 GB RAM, 8 GB ROM
3) Memory - 1 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM
because of ROM size, prices are different from one another.
Is it just the normal internal memory which they are labeling as ROM, or does it have a different purpose altogether. Because once phone is up and running the OS is loaded in RAM and not ROM.
If OS is installed in ROM, it may occupy 1 or 2 GB, what is the use of remaining space.
1) user can install app of his/her choice
2) app data storage
3) cache / delvik cache
3) anything else
if someone purchase with Memory - 512 MB RAM, 4 GB ROM, what approx Internal Storage he/she will have to install apps?
I would appreciate your help and response.
Regards.

Free up internal memery on ART (without memory increase script)

Hello All,
I have HTC Pico (has 150 MB internal memory) and switched to ART running android 4.4.2. Now it has 11 MB free space with only user app as file manager.
I have deleted unwanted system apps (like gapps). Can we free up internal memory space without using memory increase script?
Thanks !

there is a option in cm11 roms that automatically set the internal memory script!

[Q] Apps installation denied

Hi everyone.
I have Link2SD installed and i have improved my memory space for data in ext2 partition.
Now I have 350mb available in my internal memory (/data) and 500 mb in system memory (/data/ext2).
The issue is that I can not install some apps, but others yes, even if they have much larger dimensions (e.g Google Apps).
I have change the path installation by Link2sd from internal to external, deactivated the same app (in conjuction with the Plus version) and reactivated but nothing good...
I have ViperSV 1.6.0 on board, and this is a restored version from backup. Earlier with the same rom, this apps were regularly installed on my sd card (moved not linked), but now, after I have restored my rom, I can not do the same thing.
In the meantime, however, other 14 apps are reguarly moved to the sd card and 51 are linked...
Please help me...

Combine the SD Card with System Storage?

All of my Note II's storage is being taken up by newer versions. It has about 15 gigabytes of RAM storage, which is all being taken up by the system (likely still not enough), however I do own a 128gb SD Card, and I would like to know if I can combine both of the storages FOR THE SYSTEM FILES like RAID. I know that I can do this with media files, however I'd like to be able to do this with system files. Currently it runs Lineage 14.1 because it has just enough storage for Android 7 for functionality (without GApps and most apps crashing quickly), and LineageOS 16/Android 9 (compliled for Note II) doesn't run at all. So, would it be possible to use an SD card for system files?
I doubt that the Galaxy Note II has
1. 15 GB RAM -> 2 GB will be true
2. the "Adoptable Storage" feature what allows the Android OS to format an external storage media as permanent internal storage is built-in: Samsung typically doesn't support this feature, that was introduced with Android 6, by default.
