hi OP, ive been searching for forums and sites on the g730-u10 for installing custom roms, especially any upgrades to lollipop. would you be so kind as to share with us your guides and tutorials? i'm sure there are lots of people out there with this device waiting for these guides.

Too bad there are so many people in need of that and is not aware of this/your intention.
The device is not bad at all although there are newer releases. Even though being able to update/upgrade it it's good for everyone.

Will be great to get some newer ROM for this device. Really like it, but there is lack of soft support for it.

Plese help me update my huawei ascend G730 to lolipop 5.0

Please help me flash the stock rom, I rooted the device, but I cannot proceed with flashing the stock rom or any custom rom. Phone works but some of the functionalities are missing, there are very few post regarding G730-U10 in the net and the Huawei site also has nothing much to offer.

I am waiting as well to upgrade my huawei to lollipop. I am certain many people are desiring the same but have not discovered this site.

i dont think Calingo has any concern about it anymore

People didn't vote but al least 10 post are asking to support this device! Me too i like to update the huawei ascend g730 with lollipop or kitkat and huawei is not releasing any update, and no cyanogenmod for this device.

I can't enter engineering mode as specified in the other thread u linked, can you tell me how you did? I really really need to increase volume.

Got it. I have been trying with an extra 6 in the middle. I have done the volume fix and its working fine.

My rom now is S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 is very good.

Have you tried flashing the latest Mi4c ROM from the European forum? Would you have to reset the phone to flash the ROM? What are the differences between the European ROM vs. the Chinese one? Sorry, so many questions, but I really wanna ditch the Chinese ROM asap.
I would link the ROM but apparently I'm not allowed since I'm new here. It's part of release 5.10.8

[Request] HUAWEI GPLAY MINI/ HONOR 4C (CHC-01) Roms

Hello, guys. Newbie here. I just bought a few weeks ago a Huawei Gplay Mini (chc-01) with the ideea to install a custom rom and use it day by day. But, suprise, my favorite place with custom roms, xda, don't have anything for my phone. The phone is very good for the his price.. But i like to try some custom roms, but no one is developing one . Can anyone help me? Maybe the moderators can make a special category for this.. I don't like the roms made my huawei, but the phones are good and cheap. I had a huawei, and after that samsaung s3 + s4, and now again to huawei. The samsung phones are broking too easy. So anyone can help me with a custom rom light (maybe clean android) and maybe a special category for the phone? I know they are many guys who owns the phone, so xda please, do something. I'm watching this forum everyday for something for my phone., but nothing. Sorry if i post in wrong category, or my english sucks.Have a good day, greetings from Italy.

i olso wait, what number firmware you have in your device if i can ask ??, i do horrible things for my huwei i find somewhere loolipop but not for my phones and i extract and install now i have some madness information , before i have xxxxxb069 and no for this model, ****... i must find orginal stock rom but i dont remember what have number only last

It recently sent Official Marshmallow update to G Play Mini devices to Asian countries. But sadly there are no custom ROMs for this device.

'Simple' procedure for updating my one plus one to lollipop

I have been given a one plus one by my son who has upgraded to a one plus x
I am used to standard android lollipop and my son said the one plus one is not really stable.
I see a lot of comments about rooting etc but I havent really found a simple definitive guide on how to change the OS
..any other suggestions are welcome

There is no best ROM, only the one that YOU like more. You will have to go through the ROM section and look at them and make your choice. What you like is not what i like and so on, for example i am very happy with the stock ROM and don't see why i would change. But some people hate it, so to each his own, as they say.

Galaxy tab4 sm t230 updated firmware

Hi guys
I'm looking to update the firmware on this old tablet as it's a bit out of date and a bit sluggish it's been a long time since I've rooted or flashed anything android. I own a Linux satellite receiver and have flashed firmware images bootloader etc so hoping this will help me. I'm basically looking for a guide from start to finish to bring this tablet a bit more up to date, hope somebody can point me in the right direction.

What to download is in the thread (rom, gapps and twrp), and you can find instructions all over the internet. I've wrote something in my thread of lineage 16 and twrp on how to install them (lineage 16 has the same instructions as the other ROMs I've linked you) too. What I advice you is to understand well what you have to do before doing everything. Otherwise, it can happen that you'll come back and say: "device doesn't boot anymore, what to do now?"

Yes I'm trying to gather as much information as I can so as to avoid any problems when I actually try to do the flash process. I will read up some more.

No, since there aren't any devs with enough interest/knowledge to make them.

Hi there. I have found an old SM-T230. I need to install some apps, which require at least Android 7. Will the above Custom ROMS work in that way, that i can install apps build for Android 7 or higher? I fear, i have to find some GApps but thats a other story... if someone can assist to find the right ROM and GApps, this would be nice...
