Odin flash failing urgent help needed - Note Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

HI everyone I flashed this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-edge/development/req-sm-n915g-fw-2-11-15-n915gxxu1cojb-t3239089 using Odin but Odin flash failed giving error Volume size is too big or Invalid ext4 image..Please someone help me to get out of this..
My phone model is SM-N915G (Indian Version)..This is my only phone..Please help me ..I ll be very thankful..

So flash another, it means you need the pit file as the partition table is wrong for your Edge. Its easier toflash another rom thanto play around with the easily brickable pit file to find the right one...

really sorry mate - but i think you've hard bricked the thing..

this could be your issue..
omg...i thought it is soft bricked as i still able to access into download mode ~>.<~
Verifies that the firmware package that you downloaded is not corrupt, then enters in download mode, flash with ODIN ,if it remains in bootloop enters into recovery and performs wipe date , factory reset, should start ....

The same to me, maybe superbrick.
Try to download pit file for P6200 and reflash firmware, pit file via Odin.
If not work, send it to SS service for warranty or repartition use pit file, look for at Gnotes, Tab 7.7 box.

Probably the files on : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1681047 are not ok for p6200....... the files in that guide are for p6210 wifi only ( without 3g module like p6200... ). Or not?!?!?!

I would expect that if you would find the files for the 6200 version that it would do the same thing. It's already borked. Is it under warranty

Hi mate
What error do you get ?
Try with this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s7/how-to/official-stock-firmware-update-odin-t3369431
When I'm trying to flash the original rom in the AP part it fails, says system read only, but I already manage to flash superman rom, although I would like to flash stock again

Flashing with odin should not matter but your bootloader is unlock (developer options)
Try to flash it as described in the guide i posted before.

You're not going to be able to downgrade to the lollipop bootloader. The MM firmware you are running is rev 3, the lollipop firmware is rev 2. You can't downgrade revisions.
If you want to go back to lollipop then you may be able to flash just boot and system images, but ymmv.

They are stock images so shouldn't trip knox.
Extract the required images from the firmware with 7zip then repack those images into a tar archive with 7zip.

You've got me well confused now. Why on earth did you delete sbin? Also by CM do you mean you had CyanogenMod installed?
If that is the case then it may be that CM has corrupted your EFS partition.
This is not the first time that someones build of CM has done this.
Did you have custom recovery installed?

Odin is the only way.
Try these troubleshooting steps for a failed Odin flash.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/general/guide-t2345831
Odin can still flash the device while in the "encountered an issue, connect to Kies" screen.

There should be a 3 letter code that represents the country/region/carrier for each firmware version.
Find the newest version for your model number that matches your country/region/mobile carrier.

I usually recommend a version of Odin that was released shortly after the device was released because those versions were updated to be compatible with the device, whereas newer versions of Odin are less compatible with devices that were released a year or more before it.

The custom ROM that you tried to flash, was it for your model number? Or was it for a different device?
Try different USB ports, try a different PC, try a different cord.
If all else fails, try finding a copy of your device's PIT file and flash that in Odin along with the stock firmware. Place the firmware where it goes then place the PIT in the pit tab in odin, make sure the "re-partition" option is checked in Odin then start.

Hello, This could be kind of weird but
Download the Unified Android tool kit
Do a copy of the frimware you want to flash
remove the .md5 extension from the file name of the new file
the image file should now transfer into a zip file
extract it in the Unified Android tool kit INPUT folder
Run the ToolKit
it will do an update check
now type 99 and press enter
a list of choices will appear choose the " create tar files from image files" it's maybe number 8 as i remember
now choose to make a separate tar files of each image file
once done , the tar files will be placed in the OUTPUT folder
try to flash System tar file alone without the other partitions.

Sorry to report but you got hit my the rmm lock again. You will have to wait 7 more days for it to reset again. Sucks I know I've done it myself before. Basically you can't ever even start to boot full stock with oem unlock on and TWRP flashed and without the bypass patch in place or rmm resets and you wind up in 7d flash jail.
A strategy that has been successful so far is to flash twrp leaving auto reboot off and then booting to twrp immediately without even ever loading stock, then first thing before anything else flash the rmm zip. Then you will be safe even if you forget other stuff. Also if you ever flash stock vendor.img again you have to reflash the zip as it changes stuff in there.
Solved

regular odin can only flash stock firmware for ur model.. modded odin can flash combos or switch between U and U1 firmwares..
modded basically disables hash checks i believe.. u cant flash anything but allows for a bit of flexibility with stock signed firmwares
