Hi, I got problem on my phone D855. I updated my phone using kdz file of marshmallow a week before but got security error message. Then, I tried to flash Lollipop which i used before using marshmallow, but got error message on flashtool. I was unsuccessful flashing lollipop on my phone. The crazy thing is i am able to flash the marshmallow firmware (but get security error message on boot), but unable to flash lollipop as well as kitkat firmware. I am able to goto download mode. I even tried to flash tot file but failed. I even tried lg mobile support tool. It downloaded the kitkat firmware via online but didnt success to flash that firmware.. I am only able to go to download mode. Recovery mode is also not available in this phone. Please help me to repair my phone.

Hey everyone I'm quite new to android, and I'm currently stuck in Download Mode after trying and failing to install Twrp 2.7
I was previously rooted, tried to install Twrp via Autorec, however when I ran the app it soft-bricked my phone and put me into Fastboot mode.
I followed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2476972 method, and got back to Download Mode.
I am currently in the middle of returning to stock through http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 using the .TOT method.
I'm fairly close to repairing it but my only issue is that I cannot get my computer to recognize my phone. Neither in Device management nor adb devices anymore.
Therefore I cannot change the port to COM 41 to flash the .TOT file.
I constantly tried installing drivers for the phone both 3.10 and 3.08 but still no recognition can anybody help?
Some more info about the phone:
it's the D801 variant but its on Wind (Canada) not T-mobile
it was previously rooted
it did not have any recovery software installed
no roms had been flashed previously.

i was running CM 12,1 on my xt1033 but since i wanted to revert back to stock firmware i flashed the 5.1 stock firmware onto it but the phone got stuck at 'warning bootloader is unlcoked'. then i went to flash both the 5.0.2 and 4.4.4 stock firmware but it still got stuck at warning screen on both. i'm also not able to flash a custom recovery since i'm getting error 'can't load recovery'
please help n resolving this

I tried many instructions to get a custom rom on my device, but I failed.
I successfully unlocked my bootloader. Then I flashed the newest TWRP Recovery. I think Root was not successful for me even after trying different methods.
I have the 41.1A Bootloader from my latest original 5.1 update.
First I got the "Installation Aborted Status 6"-Error with the CyanPop ROM sometimes. Then it suddenly worked, but the Gapps installation failed. It said "Gapps version ist not compatible", but it was gapps 6.0. Then gapps worked, but the "setup-assistant" crashed constantly, so the phone was unusable.
I tried the unofficial CM13 ROM, but I stuck in the Bootloop after a successful flash. Sometimes I got an error like "could not find the binary of the zip" while I flash a ROM, but then suddenly it worked again.
It is possible for me to flash the 5.1 Stock ROM (Retail EU 5.1 Stock ROM (Optimized) v1.0 (336mb)) , but I don't get a working mobile connection. The device finds my SIM and I enter the pin, but it doesn't get a connection.
Then I tried to flash the Retail EU 5.1 Stock ROM (Untouched) (522mb) for a hopefully working mobile connection, but the "could not find the binary" error occures again. Edit: Installation succeeded now, but I still have no mobile connection afte rentering my pin.

Hi I've been trying to get back to stock as I have been having problems with both stock based custom roms (random reboots and not detecting sim card). I have restored my TA partition via TWRP/ADB and then have tried flashing stock via EMMA but error message that bootloader is locked appears.
I have then tried flashing Nougat rom UK customised via flashtool and it does flash however when trying to boot it says update failed and to reconnect to PC
I have tried connecting to PC companion however it keeps repairing with Software version 39.0.A.1.213-R3B which is marshmallow based and does not allow for any updates (Security patch July 2016 and think software is up to date).
Please any suggestions
My phone stopped booting when I installed the wrong root for my android version, I tried to reflash with the tot method but it just says ready and does not flash, any help?
