It’s the same. While the official international name is iwork 10 ultimate. The model number is i15 T. But you must be careful . There is a version with Windows 10 alone, and a dualboot version along with android.

Thanks for your reply
actually i will definetely buy the dual boot version, and if i can flash an android version (without windows) it will be the best.
As far as i know it is very dangerous to flash a tabloid like this,
i will expect some fresh ideas from this forum, how can i put a new rom when it will be available.

I'm torn between this and the Chuwi HiBook, also a 10.1 inch tablet PC. This one seems to be a little cheaper, $175 at geekbuying while the HiBook is $239.
What do you guys think?

Hi, I'm also intrested in this tablet.
Can someone tes for me if it is possible to connect an external 2,5" hard disk drive to the tablet without extra power?
Even if it is not working on the tablet, it should work an the Keyboerd with it's 2 full size USB ports?
I want this one or the CHUWI HiBook.
But I want connecting an external hard disk should work, else I don't need it. I often use it on travel, so not often a wall socket in the neighbourhood.
Kind regards

Ever thought of using an USB flash drive instead?

Meet the M.A.G.I.C. - NEW Windows Mobile 5.0 Phone

The specs on this lil (erm...i meant HUGE) bugger are amazing. I, personally, don't really like the device, but new phones introduce better technologies and more competition. I want to see these specs, or better (ie 3G, 802.11g, VGA Screen with true colour, etc) in a better design. But this is a great start!

Edit: any idea on what the battery life will be like on this? I think they'll need a friggin 8000mah battery just to get it to switch on!!
Also, they are planning to port a (cut-down/embedded?) version of Windows XP onto this device, much like that previous device that came out with dual OS
hi moghisi101, what's the brand and model of this monster? Can u get the specific page of the website? Thanx.
http://www.advancetc.com/
Please note that this phone is a prototype. They will be releasing the retail product shortly (at Cebit 2006?). They promise extra features that have not already been mentioned
Bye
It looks no bigger to hold than the HTC alpine although its alot thicker. Its specs are AWSOME! Over 600Mhz OMG! thats a real monster! 512 MB ROM & RAM!! Im saving up now
Kind of reminds, looking from the front view, of the Sanyo S750i which I had a few months back.
You gotta have biiig pockets for that thing to be comfortable! I think I'll stick to my Atom, I never thought the BA was too big, but after getting the Atom I'm gonna have a real problem buying anything much bigger again!
Although I don't care for the device itself, it's good to see some potential competition to HTC. HTC covers way too much of the market and I feel that they think they can 'get away with' some sub-par stuff as a result - at least for the price
man, those are killing specs!
but it is sooo thick..
buzz
inner screen should be vga
I agree with Buzz and Rudegar: This is a great Device - Design and concept are not ready, as i think, but remember how it startet with HTC... It always is good for end users if there is some competition in business... And think of fresh and innovative ideas, another way to understand the ppc-pe etc.
Now that is a sexy piece of kit!
anyone knows the price of it?

I found some rumors that the price will be arround 1000$
does anybody have a rought idea when it comes out
some thing like a month or day preferred
im very excited about this the day it comes out im selling my atom
Selling your Atom and buying a wheelbarrow, no doubt! I will never go back to a "dragable" unit again! Oh, and you should change your signature to "Atom going soon", then!
Got reply from Advantech. They are currently searching for distributors to distribute globally. The price will be around 2000USD.It will be first launched in Malasia and then for the rest of the world. The launch could be in 2nd Qtr 2006
$2k!
I'll pick up a nice 7" laptop for that kinda money
Whats the point of the inside screen at all if its the same as the outside one...
They should have just done a swivel thing and kept the price down..
OR made that inner screen VGA - then it would be perfect.
QVGA LCDs are cheap, especially if you buy them in the thousands. This is a stretch, but it might very well be that the fabrication and assembly process and whatnot for a swivel design turns out more expensive

The sexiest Android tablet ever, the Samsung Galaxy Tab is official now – pics are out, as well as official video. And the spec sheet, is mind-blowing!
Samsung P1000 Galaxy Tab is a sleek big-sized Android phone! It’s expected to be released in this month itself. GSMArena got hands-on pics. It got 7 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen display, capable of displaying 16 million colours, with multi-touch functionality. Galaxy Tab would come with 16GB and 32GB internal storage, with 512MB RAM. It also got microSD card slot, having extra memory up to 32GB. The combination of ARM Cortex A8 1GHz processor and the well-optimized Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system, would be somewhat appreciable.

Are there prices yet or we are still in the blue about it? I would also prefer if it came with linux (easier to run windows applications on it via wine)

It has a 7-inch WSVGA TFT-LCD color display with 1024-by-600 pixel resolution. (Source: http://www.pcworld.com/article/204747/meet_the_galaxy_tab.html?tk=hp_new)
And guess what? Fring works "fringing awesome" on Galaxy Tab.
It wont be the iPad killer unless it gets marketed as such. I even seen music videos with the artist using iPads. I wonder how much Apple pays them to do that? "Heres a free iPad and 50 bucks to have you show it off in your music video" sheesh.
Hands on with it.http://www.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-tab-hands-video
Shame they didn't put at least even and OLED screen on there.
Might have to get one of these badboys! Very sexy indeed.
This will fail pretty badly.
It is not because of Android, it is not because of the hardware.
But the PRICE!
http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/02/samsung-galaxy-tab-reported-to-retail-at-699-and-799-in-europe/
700 - 800 euro???
INSANE!
iPad will be better option in this price with larger screen, doubled internal memory size and better battery.
Good God, Samsung just cannot do business.

It still wouldn't be able to run wine if it had Linux on it.
I don't know a 1GHZ single core processor for a next gen table? I was at least hoping for 1.6 dual core.

Is it that expensive? No way of it being in any way successful. The iPad is a far better choice IMHO.
lol this just pretty much killed it. Apple could sell stuff for 600+ euros and someone would probably still buy because of the brand name but Samsung, some not-so-well-known brand name comes and attempts to sell an "ipad killer". If it had great specs and a decent price, it would definitely live up to its name but this is just disappointing

Agreed. I've long been a Tablet PC owner (HP TC1100) and the iPad is an absolutely killer machine compared to all the other tablets I've ever used. Of course, it's not a Win / x86 machine, but, for my needs (Web browsing, reading / searching in books, playing back videos) it's WAY better than anything else I've ever tested. And, on top of that, it has a GREAT battery life.

It cost 470 USD actually for the P1. Dont know the current price of the Galaxy nexus (2011) right now
The P1 s version cost about 150 USD extra, reaching easily 600 USD, not worth it in my opinion. Why would you pay 150 extra box for 1mm thickness?

This looks similar to the Galaxy S2, similar features too.
Are there many Rom's? and how does the default skin they overlay go?
Is the Camera comparable with other flagship phones out there?
Hmmm, Looks nice, I love that it has SD card support.
Ascend D1 is better for its 720p screen.

Are you in China? Any idea how much an Ascend D1 costs?
It's an amazing cellphone for that price, however;ascend D quad is around the corner, which makes me hesitate.
Just read tech specs about ascend D,you'll like it more.
http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide/productFeatures.do?pinfoId=3265&directoryId=6001&treeId=3745&tab=0
P1 is great! It will be available in Europe starting from August, as far as I know, on prices between 350-400 euro. However, there is the new D2 coming out soon (no idea when it will be available in Europe).
In China, the price for P1 is around 2200 RMB, that is 280 Euros. However, please note that the Chinese version IS NOT compatible to GAPPS! You need to install over a World/Europe ROM.
The phone itself is just geat! The speed is impressive! Camera is good (with some features not encountered in standard camera software). There are also all sort of Huawei apps, that are very good and I mention here a FULL backup software, for applications and data (does not require root as it is integrated). It supports FaceUnlock. There are a lot of other goodies not to mention. My opinion: a very good value for the money!
Just got the latest UI from Huawei. It is really impressive. A little bit MIUI like, but as it is done by Huawei developers, I think that the integration is much better. Could not find a problem yet, I am proud to be a owner of this.
It is an amazing phone

There is no CM for the P5000, and the P5000 comes prerooted from Elephone, or you can easy root it with iRoot.
CM11 is just comming out for the P6000 soon, it will be a while before we will see CM12 (if ever) for any china phone.

Cheap Octa-core phone: UleFone Be X

The UleFone Be X is probably one of the cheapest phones around with an Octa-core chipset. The phone looks good (in my opinion at least ) and the fact that it's just 4.5" inch is a big plus in my opinion! I just don't like all those 5" inch or bigger models. What do you think about it?

- 1.4GHz Mediatek MT6852M
- 1GB RAM
- 8 megapixel camera

UleFone Be X
I'll buy one
Some days ago I discovered this device. I am thinking about buying one. Cheap, dual-sim, not big. The only handicap it has the 1GB memory. And the fear from the main camera's pics.
So I have to wait for the first test. In my opinion it could be a best buy.
Okokok

- 4.5" inch qHD screen
- 1.4GHz Mediatek MT6852M
- 1GB RAM
- 8 megapixel camera
- 8GB storage
- 1900mAh battery
Sure ok ok good phone, the best phone for the price.
But let's talk serious things. How to root? XD

I have the phone at home for a short while now (review coming soon) and to be honest it's quite a good phone. Have been surprised by it's quality. I'll let you guys know when the review is in!

MIUI
If you want MIUI (stable & fixed version ROM) for Ulefone Be X. You can find it on 4PDA forum, MIUI v6 5.8.6, English Installation instructions included. Or on needrom an old version MIUI 5.7.23.
I have a dual SIM uleFone Be X. It's a great little cheap phone, and I've had no problems since I bought it last November.
The other day I noticed there was no signal for both SIM/networks.
At first I thought it was due to the weather, but then I noticed there was no signal in other areas as well.
I soon realized it basically doesn't connect to any network anymore.
So I have tried the following, but no success:
- Switching Airplane mode on/off
- Booting in safe mode
- Automatic search of network: "Cannot connect to this network at the moment. Try again later"
- Manual search of network: "Error while searching for networks"
- Reset APNs to default
- Turn off phone, remove battery, remove SIMs, wait, re-insert SIMs, turning back on
- Insert SIMs one by one while phone is on and on charge
- Preferred network (from the Phone Info menu) is set to WCDMA preferred
- Turn radio off and on again from system menu
Worth a note:
- IMEI numbers are recognised
- Tried with several SIM cards, in both slots, none works
- Same SIM cards work just fine in other phones
Any ideas? Faulty hardware? It literally happened from one day to another.
For what is worth, before the problem occurred I flew from one country to another. During the flight I had airplane mode on, but for a brief moment I switched it off to see if I could get any mobile and GPS signal and check my current position. Could the phone still be stuck at 10k feet in the air?
I think networks disappeared after the flight, but I am not 100% sure. Could have been before, or just after.
Hi!
I've couldn't find anything about Ulefone X, This threat is the closest I've found. I don't think is the same
My phone as arrived 5 days ago, yesterday as received an update to correct some stuff, and did.
But now, occasionally, there's a blank layer over the screen that make very difficult to see what's under that layer. It's not fully opaque but very annoying.
Does someone know how to prevent this?
Thank you.
