I have the opportunitie to buy me a LG G3 AT&T, but I'm not sure I can use them properly here in the Netherlands.
Are there any restrisctions?

You can if its unlocked. But you may or may not get 4G/LTE. As well as no updates due to it will only update with an active att sim in it.

hey there, im kinda new in here and also kind a noob, to my doubt is if i buy an one x for at&t unlocked (on ebay) should it work with my carrier on mexico (telcel)?, having said that im considerating buying the at&t version based on the fact that i think that it would work on telcel's new 4g lte, cause its 1700/2100 im i right?

i did the same. (AT&T version for 4G LTE)
and i can tell you that it works fine. i live in chihuahua

You'd have to get the GSM version from Motorola.com or Amazon.com.

Nope. You'll have to have it shipped to a US address.

I emailed both, Wind Mobile and Motorola Canada, asking if and when will Moto G be available on any other carriers in Canada. Got same reply from both:
"We don't know." LOL
From what I've read some reports said Telus had a months head start, some said two months, before other carriers get it. So that puts it around holiday season or in January... Hopefully Wind will be one of them.

It's a great phone, I brought mine off becextech. I've got my 32gb black model running pretty well on Telstra. The problem is if you wanna do customisation (you will want to with this phone) you can't due to all its restrictions. I think you should do a little more searching around because it's not perfect.

Yeah sorta, the 3G/hspa bands that Telstra uses in rural areas arent supported on the G Pro 2, or at least my D838 model.

I might just steer clear of phones with stupidly secure bootloaders because I can't stand not being able to flash a file through TWRP
Hi Guys,
It has been a while since I used an android and the usual problem with carrier phone is they lock some bands (dont know why they do this) and undeletable bloatware.
Saw some ads in eBay that are selling refurb pixel phones and the price is not that bad.
I just want to ask will there be some issues of using verizon pixel in Canada or is it possible to change the firmware of the phone to make it global so it can unlock the bands,

New firmware will be floating around. Try to take the update to your device. See what update it tries to push.
Hopefully it does a good thing for you..

I bought (and live) in the US and use it in Ottawa. Connects to Rogers.

Were you able to update to Android 10 even though you are not in USA? I think I read somewhere that the phone can only update when it is connected to Sprint's network.

It works, the LTE speeds are slightly lower then my v35 but still fast enough for HD streaming 20-40 mbps (in a city). Just got a security and software update as well from LG. No Volte, however.
The service menu code ##DATA# (or #Data##) may be able to tweak some settings.

I just got a software and December 2020 security update from LG and I'm on ATT.
