Moto Camera & Gallery for custom rom's Lollipop 5.x.x

Hey guys, Motorola has pushed out an update to its Motorola Camera app that brings along manual exposure controls, letting users make the subject brighter or darker before taking the picture. Also included in this update is some bug fixes, which is always helpful. Manual controls are nothing new, but it is still great to see Motorola add more options for its users.
I share a zip to get the latest version of the camera and gallery in ROMs CyanogenMod 12.1, Paranoid, AICP and all those with Android based Lollipop 5.x.x
Installation:
Download zip file and copy to sdcard.
Reboot en recovery mode (TWRP)
Install zip
Wipe cache/dalvick
Reboot
Done!!
Download:
Update v3

Camera is active the advanced options (hidden menu)

Fix force close when the photo editor is used in the gallery.
Note 1: Not working slowmotion (confirm if present this bug!) :crying:

Take a nanoid backup..
Flash this (it should work most probably)..
If u r having problems restore backup..
Always the best way to try out new things..

i decided to make the try of the zip on liquid rom kitkat, and it doesnt work hehehe, im fact the zip delete the camera and gallery app, but i have to try, it just for lollipop...
thanks anyway a great zip for those who need the moto camera...!!! i hope i can find the same for kk roms

Well it worked for me though.. Maybe coz im in a 5.1.x rom..
But hey, thanks for trying.. As ur post might just help another person looking for the same answer!

I flashed this over CM12.1. Anyone else get soft reboots when using the camera through a locked phone (shake shake shake)?
Unlocked the camera works fine.

I'm on the latest AICP and I've noticed that flashing this breaks theming Any solutions?

remove the gallery and reboot, quickpic works better

[CLOSED]MIUI v7 Port by Slenderman8090

MIUIv7 is now officially ported and supports CDMA! This includes the Falcon_CDMA and XT1031. At the moment GSM Variants are not supported on this port. It will be worked on though... Download links will be posted! Thanks for your Cooperation!

That is correct.. It wont turn on what so ever... No Bootloader, No Recovery, not even a boot logo...

If it's a rom trouble, just flash another rom

Can't be, I tried to do it even plugged in.

Sounds like you're hard bricked. There is a guide on here how to unbrick a moto g. Probably a good place to start.

no worries!i've been a follower of some of your projects from my previous xperia devices,so that comes to say your MODs are brilliantly working!

The app is plenty dependent of the framework, and sony has its own. It may be possible, but some core code must be ported as well!

[FIX] GOOGLE CAMERA FC's

Hey there, I made this thread because many of the x820/x821 users were facing Google Camera force closes on their phones......I found this fix on this thread and tested it on my x821 with a success.... Please do check and reply if it worked for other users..... It was basically happening due to installation of GApps.... To fix this just follow these steps.....
1. Make sure your phone is rooted.
2. You need a root file manager.
3. Navigate and delete these files.
/System/framework/com.google.android.camera.experimental2016.jar and
/System/etc/permission/com.google.android.camera.experimental2016.xml
4. Clear data of Google Camera and Reboot. DONE.
HOPE THIS FIX WORKS FOR YOU.:good:

The clicks are caused by the focus issues sadly, but the LeEco fix should be implemented into the custom rom im using in this weeks update, so I gotta hold out from using the camera until then!

this problem you have mostly with full gapps
in pico, mini and so on they works without fixing

Did you get root access? On the other hand if you're in pie ROM you don't need to do this anymore, just install an update to the same.... It will work fine:good:

You can use any ROM with Focus Fix toggle, like AEX, AICP, AOSiP, LOS etc:good:
Also take the note that your camera module is good, cause mine is bad and it doesn't work anymore.....

Very nice Puksom. I'm planning on trying the 9.15 on Mi website. They do not point this ROM as chinese or global.

Probably it is compatible. They did not mention because the 8/256 has limited avaiability.

EDIT: And it is stock! System UI is continuously crashing when the language is set to English though
EDIT2: Doing the setup in chinese and then switching to English works

Didn't got it to work, as I have a Mac. Tomorrow I will install a Windows version to use the flash tool. On a different of I didn't get to install .net framework..

Does this mean that when Android P fully releases it'll be completely stock or will it MIUI? Or would you get the choice between the two?

I remember the poll that Xiaomi done on twitter were more people voted for stock Android over MIUI, I don't see how they can get users to adjust to stock with dev previews but then on full release switch to MIUI, that would be dumb
