I'm on Metro PCS. I setup APN and have been receiving MMS but only getting 3G speed. I haven't been able to get 4G or LTE. The Preferred Netork are does not show any 4G or GSM or anything like that. Would I need to create one custom.

I am a field tech and work with Sprint signal mostly. The S5 will camp on band 41 ( 2.5) not allowing me to see the other 2 LTE bands. Trying to analyse the LTE signal for in building is getting almost impossible since they have not released an amp for 2.5 and in florida thats what i mostly see in metro areas. I am using an S5 and need to know if there is a way to lock the phone onto an LTE band and then unlock it

Hello, and thank you for using XDA Assist!
The 920i is the international model, and thus misses Band 4 (1700mHz) which is used by the USA GSM operators (AT&T, T-Mo, MetroPCS, et cetera). This means you won't get 4G LTE with this device.
Also, if trying with T-Mobile, they alos use 1700mHz for HSPA (3G), a frequency your device does not have either. So unless T-Mo still supports 2G (I remember a planned phasing of that out at some point), your device will not work with their network.
AT&T on the other hand, uses 3G 850/1900 frequencies, so you should be okay.
At any rate, I could be optimistically wrong. So, please create an account, so you cna post in other forums, then either post in the above linked thread, or in the S6 general help thread:

Just at because the sim does the phone might not support that band.

Hi Hyelton, thank you for your reply. The phone does too, its listed on the specifications and it picks up the band and the network when I do a manual search for available networks. when trying to connect it connects to the HSPA+ network not LTE. I believe this is a limitation that ATT might have added. I need someone help me remove it.

AT&T would NOT have a limitation on it. If you do a network search and it comes up, and fails to connect something somewhere else is wrong. Make sure you have the correct APN?
The APN settings have been checked and work fine on a note 3 N9005, somethings up with the d850, can someone help with that please
the phone does, the speck says, roaming 1800 on the att site and even the lg specs say it does. the but i think the stock rom on the att d850 some how prevents it, please help
Just got my V10 today, let me know if I can do anything to help development. I will be happier with root.
For those of us who bought a T-Mobile phone with the intent to unlock and use on AT&T, some screenshots or a list of all your APN settings would be very helpful.

4gLTE for LGV10 on AT&T with unlocked T-Mobile device
Hi, I have an LG V10 that I purchased from TMOBILE. I switched to AT&T, and brought my T-Mobile device with me. Everything works fine, but I cannot get 4G LTE service at all. I have tried 2 APN settings, and that does not help. I live in a large metropolitan area, and I know that 4G is available here with AT&T. Does anybody have any idea why I can only get 4G and not 4G LTE?
Thanks!

Maybe IMEI on account not your v10? happened to me once
Hi Team, I bought HTC one m8 sprint model and using in India on Airtel network.
2g and 3g is working great on this however 4g is not working at all. I Googled it and came to know that sprint uses 1900 MHz antenna for LTE networks but airtel uses 2300 MHz spectrum so 4g is not working. I wanted to know if it is possible to change the lte frequency for phone through any settings or by any application. Please help if it is possible.
Thank you so much in advance.......
