Hey there, so I bought the Wiko Rainbow Jam (the dual sim one not the 4g) and Kingroot doesn't work on it, neither does Framaroot.
So after a week of searching and being quite afraid to mess this phone up, I decided to ask for some help ( I intend to root in order to get another room in it, maybe cyanogenmod, if you know a better one for it please advice)

I don't know what recovery or ROM to use because there's no choice for my specific phone model. There are a lot of O+ 8.5 users in the Phil and this might help them, too. 1. I can't find any compatible custom recovery.
2. some how i manged to root the device and i installed a superuser app.
My device properties:

Hello, this is herna from XDA Assist.
Regarding what you are trying to get, we can provide anything, as we are a forum where people connects and share its work, but we as XDA, don´t provide those kinds of things.
As far as I could search, your device does not seems to be a very famous one inside this forum, and I could not get even any other thread related to this device.
As far as I know, I doubt there is a CWM/TWRP for this device, you should Google it, and maybe you can be lucky and find some other place where someone got any of those recoveries to work on your device.
In case of the rooting thing, I would try Kingroot app, but I don´t promise this will work, just is the easier way to get it working without having a recovery.
I´m sorry of any of these are the news you were expecting, but this is all the info I have and all the info I can provide.

I've been looking around for a working root for my Huawei Y6 so I can properly use my micro SD card on it. I've tried sevral versions of KingRoot based off information found on this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/general/help/huawei-y6-how-to-root-device-t3218977 but none of them worked for me.

I'm a total noob to this site.
I'm wanting to flash a custom rom to my Cubot Dinosaur, but can't seem to find any ROM's or details on how to go about this procedure. I have (many years ago ) successfully flashed Cyanogen Mod to a Huawei smartphone, but have forgotten how to do this.

I recently bought a Alcatel Shine Lite (Optus X Sleek) about 2 weeks ago and about 2 days ago I looked into rooting it so I could run Kali Nethunter for some pentesting. However after a decent 2 days worth of downloading root programs (King Root, iRoot, Framaroot, dr.fone etc...), looking for CWM and TWRP recoveries, and trying to find the bootloader via Alcatel and Optus's website (Optus is useless imo) even a custom ROM for the phone has all led to dead ends.
I was just wondering if there was anything that I was missing out on at all, or if maybe someone else had better luck than me or even if someone could help me root the phone.
