Hi my device recently became unresponsive and only boots up to the white htc ONEtm screen on startup. When I connect to the computer I get the CD Drive (F) icon. Is it still possible to access the media on the phone in any other way?

as the tittle says it shows as a CD/DVD drive for some reason, it used to be fine before but now idk and a lot of music files are missing for some reason. everything on internal storage is fine, i hope anyone can help.

Yikes. Is it even turning on? As in, if you connect it to a PC, does the PC recognize it? If so, you may get rescued with cascading boot (thankfully you have an SD card slot). But then again, since I don't know your device, there may be a better option...

Please note how you got to the current situation (looks like the bootloader was overwritten), and your exact model number (yours is a C1904 or C1905, but I cannot tell which based on the post).

I was using the music player and the screen suddenly went blank and came on to the boot screen. I just assumed it was restarting but it is now stuck. I don't know much about phones so please explain to me what to do in basic terms.

1.Try to flash rom using SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1352 & MT6592_Android_scatter file
2.Unfortunately unable to connect the phone with PC as device driver installation failed repeatedly.
3. HTC service center refuses to provide support.
4. I have watched videos in you tube regarding flashing tool. but resolution only possible when the phone is successfully connected with pc.
5. I'm able to charge my phone but when i press power button it got stucked in logo.
6. I have tried to boot the device but unable to to do..
Please help...i'm passing through tremendous mental pressure.
