DIY Book Case

Hanging out with my friend, Mary Jane last night got me in the handy/crafty mode. Since there isn't many case options in Canada, I had to improvise. Should've waited till she "left" because it could've been a better thought out and executed process, bringing better result (ie. placement of materials and using a ruler to cut straight lines...lol). Next time...I'll be going to the flea market to find a leather bound for the next one.
Cost - $0, supplies I found around the house.
Materials needed
- hard cover book that suits you (I'm a herp guy and fav color is green), so this book and its size worked perfect
- piece of felt fabric (protects and strengthens the binding from daily use/folding)
- piece of thin'ish foam (protects the screen and comfy when holding)
- heavy duty Velcro (clean look with easy tab removal, amplifies sound with spacing created, acts as feets to prevent back from scratching when not in case)
- spray adhesive
- vinyl sticker, optional (my book had a rip, so I had to find a way to cover it. It also serves the purpose to protect the edge and corner from wear)
- ruler, exacto knife, scissors
Things to do in the future
- bungee cord or magnet to keep the book closed (need to test effects of magnet on wifi).
- get more vinyl to cover back side
- how can I make it stand???
Install
- pics speaks for itself
Enjoy!

This program allows you to measure your body fat (new functions such as BMI counting, lean weight and much more will appear of course) using a caliper* and flexible tape.
It will be useful for weight loss control, for bodybuilders, fitness fans or just for curious ones.
At the moment it allows to count body fat percentage using a skinfold (Jackson-Pollock 7- and 3-site formulas) and girth (US Navy) methods.
_____* wiki says that caliper is a device used to measure the distance between two opposite sides of an object. In our case we'll use it for skinfolds

It's still in beta, but I have been getting very positive feedback from my users. I hope you like it as well.
It lets you read webcomics with a fast and comfortable interface, just like browsing the Gallery.
Archives are constantly updated with the new strips.
I only add a webcomic to the collection when its author gives me the permission.
The framework I created lets me extend the collection very quickly, and I am waiting for the permission from a lot of webcomic authors.
The collection currently contains:
A Softer World
Amya
Ava's Demon
Blue Milk Special,
Completely Serious
Doghouse Diaries
Dressed for Success
Dynagirl
Eat That Toast!
ExtraLife
For Lack of a Better Comic
Gunshow
KiLA iLO
Marooned
Oyster War
Rumble Fall
Something of That Ilk
Stupid Snake
Features:
Visualization commands
Pinch and pan gestures to zoom and move the image around
Fit the image entirely, by width or by height
[*]Navigation commands
Go to the first, previous, next or last strip of the archive
Jump to a specific strip of the archive, by selecting the strip number
Swipe left/right to go to the next/previous strip
Set bookmark to the current strip, go to bookmark
[*]Performance
Pre-downloading of nearby strips, so they are ready to be displayed when you navigate to them
Caching of downloaded images locally, to avoid re-downloading
[*]Other
Share strip link with friends
Save strip image locally
View the strip's mouseover text
Open the original strip webpage or just the strip image in your default browser
For webcomic authors: if you are a webcomic author, and want to know more about Carbon, please read this introduction, in which I explain my offer in terms of ad revenue sharing.
For any suggestion, bug report, feature request, anything, feel free to write me at [email protected]. I am very interested in any kind of feedback.
Carbon is still in a very early launching phase. Any help in spreading the word is highly appreciated. If you like Carbon, please rate it and leave a comment! Thanks

Nice application, lots of useful options and very easy to use, plus very intuitive, highly recommended for physicians, I see great potential on this. Keep it up!
Suggestion: Maybe adding international presentations of drug concentrations per ampoule/vial would make this the go to option and gold standard of must have for physicians?

Thanks , I tried to stick with the international concentrations specially in adult drugs. I know pediatric drugs are more local but the good thing is that these drugs collections are dynamically generated from my private server, so after some time I will add drug localisation by region and according it should display the appropriate concentration(user selects his region). Untill that time, any one can edit the concentration by long pressing on drug name

[GAME][4.0+]Memory and Speed Reading Training

App to improve memory, attention and speed reading
The app includes 5 mini-games:
Remember this (4 rows)
The playing field has 4 rows; each row contains 10 dots. At the beginning you have 10 seconds to see the figure which provides you one variant of these dots linking. After that you need to connect dots as well as shown in the figure.
Remember this (5 rows)
Plus one additional row
Schulte table
One of the most effective exercises for developing attention, concentration and speed of visual search. Also this exercise is the most popular method to increase your speed of reading. The essence of Schulte table is consistent finding of all numbers in the table. Regular exercises with Schulte tables help you to expand your peripheral vision. Wide field of view reduces the time for information searching in text.
Schulte-Gorbov table
One of the most popular tests to analyze the speed of attention switching. Psychologists use it for assessment suitability of professions which require high concentration and quick reactions, such as air traffic controllers, train drivers. Red-black Schulte-Gorbov table is a modified version of the single-color Schulte table. You are invited to indicate black numbers in ascending order and red numbers in descending order. The number from each color group, you need specify in turn - first 1 black, then 24 red, 2 black -> red 23 -> 3 black -> red 22 etc
«Memory matrix» game
In this game you need to remember the location of the shaded cells and then reproduce them using your memory. One game required you to play with 30 different variants of placements. The playing field and the number of shaded cells will increase every 5 cards.
