Hi ,
Has anybody created a rom with Xperia apps (Camera, walkman, Keyboard, Contacts etc) for Mi4. I want to download the rom. I am okay if its MIUI or CM. I saw Mi Xperia rom for redmi 1s but coluldnot find for Mi4.
I tried flash xperia camera, Key board and walkman on Mi4 but even flashing is sucessful i can not see those apps in settings or widgets.

There is such a rom in mi3 forums. Any rom for mi3 woild work with mi4. Go ahead and flash that.
Ok. But both have different hw and possibly different kernels. So will it work.

bro no problem with rom dev also confirms
because rom is based on official cm 12.1 snapshot cancro (mi 4/mi3w both)
im using it since 3 week on my mi 4 w
no problem

Don't worry. They both share the same kernel and have the same miui Rom(cancro). So you can flash it without any worries.

There is no development for Tipo dual right now... Tipo single is just starting the roll with a future KitKat ROM!
So...later coming a New rom for the x-tipo dual

Hi guys,
Porting later flavors of Android other than ICS for Tipo Dual is not currently considered by anyone. :crying:
We Tipo Dual users have some option of Custom ROM as follows.
1. Use Gimlo 2.0 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2123835
2. Use Gimlo 2.1 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2547428
but these are basically ICS..
3. Use T.Rex CROSS-FLASH option. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2594389
Literally this option turns our phone in to Xperia Tipo (NO DUAL ANYMORE :angel. I used it personally with FXP kernel and JBMP 5 JB ROM. Works well. But high battery drain noticed. Don't know why. SystemUI won't have options for Dual Sim and Quick SIM change button wont work either. Actually the fix flashes ICS baseband from Xperia J to our device. then only one sim started to work. [Digged from FTF MANIFEST.MF FILE]

Thats what I found out..
Fellow dev jjm34 managed to get a working CM10 for E DUAL with help of Code Aurora Dual Sim Implementation.
If any dev listening to this if we can do the same to our TipoDUAL? Problem is E DUAL is upgradable to 4.1.1 JB. If using that upgrade the CM10 built? But no JB for tipo dual..
You see the fix for the signal of the SIM of cm10

It's a seriously long shot, but how about you people flash the baseband of a single SIM Tipo, then flash whatever ROM you use? Using this trick, many Xperia E single owners (me included) were able to run stock-based CM10 ROMs.

I'm using Gimlo 2.0 with Xperia T launcher. Performance are not vary for the two roms. But 2.1 has modified installation process and It has been removed non-working apps and mods and have fixes to FC apps.. See the thread.

Hi, i was working in a Patchrom for xt1032(Before, i did patchroms for G300, Y300 and u8650), to bring to the device a fully functional and bootable miui rom, this build is compiled from source and should be completely functional.
The rom has not been tested yet because i need some betatesters, i'm uploading it and i will share the link when it's ready.

I'm using the ue version of xiaomi but I don't like because I'm having problems with some apps and I'm gonna try with official version but I don't howni can do it.

Hello,
you can try and flash china stable rom from xiaomi, but you will likely have same issues...
If you flash official china dev rom with twrp you will lock your bootloader and probably you will end in a bootloop...
Xiaomi rom aren't so much customized, they remove the bloatware and optimize some thing, if you have problems you will have with any other Miui rom...

I had installed a rom from EU to get Spanish and the play store. This Rom don't works very well with the keyboard and sometimes the apps just close them.
Yesterday finally I installed the stable version of miui and works perfect in the phone. Just I'm having a problem with the icons of the apps because they don't look very nice.
I'm gonna try to have a look why this happens with the icons. Maybe it's for the play store that I installed.
Which version do you have?

I'm on sMiui 6.1.28 and it works very well, but i'm using english language, so i dont have translation issues...
Miui have a whole set of different icons for popular apps, many of your apps will look differently...

Yes, I had the same version. It works fine but sometimes I was having problems with the apps. After I tried the official Chinese rom I can say that works better.
About the icons I have tried to install some themes but I don't know why the play store icon or WhatsApp looks horrible! I would like the same icons than the EU version.
I will investigate more about this!

The guys at Xiaomi.eu make their own icons, that's why they look different. You won't get the same icons with the official China ROM. I hope you're not flashing China ROMs with TWRP. You're just asking for a bootloop eventually.

Thank you!! I didn't know why the icons were different!
I had the Chinese ROM (stable) but I came back to EU and after the installation I did a wipe and now the phone works fine. We will see how works along the week!

Yes but it had bugs if you don't clean flash.

One noticeable difference of this are the chinese bloatwares are gone and gps toggle is in the quick toggles. In chinese miui10, it wasnt there.

If i flash this, is it replacing TWRP with stock recovery or not ?
Ive tried flash to stock miui from custom rom before, and after flashing stock miui, my twrp was replaced with stok recovery. And i dont have pc right now to flash TWRP again if lost.

It is just a modified version(runs script) of xiaomi.eu, so I suggest you to use stable version of xiaomi.eu
