Website and Download
Release notes.
Device specific page on "twrp.me".
Download page with current and past versions.
Installation
Enable USB debugging in developer options.
adb reboot bootloader (The bootloader is not visible tablet will look stuck at lenovo logo, this is fine.)
fastboot oem unlock
fastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.7.0-b8080f.img
fastboot reboot
adb reboot recovery
Boot to Bootloader
You can also boot to the bootloader by holding volume up + power while powering on (release as soon as you see the logo).
Again the bootloader looks like you're stuck at the lenovo logo that is fine and should work.
There is no boot to recovery option from the bootloader, just use "fastboot boot twrp-2.8.7.0-b8080f.img" instead.

@K. Hendrik
Do you mean that it is only possible to get to TWRP by issuing that command in bootloader? There's no easier way? Whenever I wish to enter TWRP I'd like to use just the tablet's hardware buttons. I don't want to depend on having another device with Android SDK installed at hand.

@eried1 Yes unfortunately there is no button combination. (At least I couldn't find one)
I first expected Volume Down + Power to work but that just gets you inside a lenovo specific mode "Lenovo test and reset mode".

Don't forget to boot into Testmode and tape in ADB :
adb reboot recovery
And you can access into recovery mode (TWRP).
Sorry for my bad english.

that is the stock recovery
what were you trying to do?
I'm arrived at step "LOCK STATE - UNLOCKED". When i go on to download " clockwork recovery" and "superuser" mount all on the USB storage, in Recovery i see this.
Look my picture, in background, you see error logo.
No I see the stock recovery logo and that you're trying to flash through the stock recovery.
Sent from my MattedBlues CM7 Google Nexus S!
My Nexus S is UNLOCKED, because i read it in the Bootloader Interface.
I tried to continue the guide right to the end, but when i selected the Recovery i saw this:

After successfully unlocking the bootloader you need to install your custom recovery.
In "Fastboot" mode, (phone connected to computer via usb, phone on bootloader screen) your need to: assuming your working directory is sdk/tools...
at command prompt:
fastboot devices (make sure youo device is detected)
fastboot flash recovery "clockworkrecovery.img goes here" (no quotes)
reboot phone to recovery ( if you reboot back into android recovery will revert back to stock)
If followed the guide, maybe a few steps were missed.
Ok works!!!

[SOLVED] Problem with fastboot/recovery with TF300TG

There is some similiar threads about this, but I still haven't found solution to my problem. I also tried to post this same problem on general: (TF300TG)For All Your Jelly Bean discussions-problems, but I thought if this was better on troubleshooting.
I got problem with recovery/fastboot on tf300tg..
Background: I haven't root my tf300tg, I got 4.2.1 (10.6.2.11) and I have unlocked bootloader from Asus support and installed APX drivers to windows 7 which works with tf300tg. (even when it's not so needed?) Also I got USB debugging on.
Problem: When I press (Vol Down + Start) to get in bootloader and try to start RCK it gives me error ("Virhe" means error in finnish).

}
Second Problem: If I can't use recovery I could try to use fastboot. I downloaded ADB and tried to follow instructions but there is one problem with this. I can use fastboot only when my tf300tg is on normal mode. So I can't use fastboot in recovery or in bootloader mode. I'm not sure if I should use fastboot in normal mode (don't know if it's safe?) to install TWRP 2.6.0 (for tf300tg)
Normal mode:
APX mode/Bootloader mode:
EDIT: After 5 hours of finding, I found that reason was ADB version. Fixing this problem was download: minimal adb and fastboot program to windows.

Unbrick LG f70 d315

Good evening at all!
Sorry for the trouble but after long hours of research and attempts without solving the problem I thought to try to ask with a thread.
I'll explain what's my problem: I have a lg f70 d315 that no longer wants to start.
It has not been used for a long time and I can not tell you what was done to it last time.
The phone stays locked in the boot screen with the LG logo.
I tried to perform a factory reset from the stock recovery but the situation is not changed. (it stays stucked on "performing factory rest")
I tried to start the device in download mode pressing Vol UP while booting but instead of showing the download mode screen, the fastboot commands are shown (as in picture)

}
The bootloader is locked so I can not flash a modified recovery (which I find here https://forum.xda-developers.com/chef-central/android/recovery-twrp-2-8-7-0-lg-f70-d315-t3278742) or flash the file laf.img necessary to access the download mode.
any attempt I do to flash shows these errors
Even when testing with "fastboot boot recovery.img" commands, the phone loads the TWRP recovery but remains locked in the twrp logo screen, without continuing or allowing other operations.
is the device unrecoverable?
Connecting it to the PC is only recognized when it is in fastboot, in all other cases (with mobile phone off, during startup) is not shown by windows.
Thank you very much for your help or just having read the post,
Enrico

My phone bricked after Flash

Hi Everyone, sorry for my bad English if my question not clear enough:
- Phone model: Lamborghini 88 Tauri, snapdragon 801 MSM8974PRO-AB, 3/64 android 4.4.4
- After flash the ROM of LG G3 android 4.4.4 (I cooked but not well) ==> TWRP status sucessed, but No OS to reboot (only 16Mb), so i decided to restore (this steps i did so many times as backed up in TWRP). However when i reboot i shutdown immediately and totally bricked can not boot.
- I followed the guided to use Stock ROM of Oneplus X (same Qualcomm chip) to flash by Qfil in EDL mode, all success however it still can not boot to recovery (Only LED light flashing but not charging). So i decide to Flash another Stock ROM Xiaomi Mi 4 but now can not connect to EDL mode again.
- Facing issues now: Screen if off, could not access so i can not enable USB debugging for fastboot commands & unlock bootloader. Also ADB command can not use as it show no devices connected (Only can use Fastboot). Another issue: i can not go to EDL mode because whenever i connect the phone ==> LED light on and look likes charging mode (tried to keep power button or combine with volume +- but still show No Qualcomm Port... I used fastboot-edl tool, it shows:"done, entered EDL mode" but the driver still available on Device Manager & can use fastboot command, not really in EDL mode.
Really appreciated for You all support.
