Which Method can i use to root Alcatel one touch pop star 5022D
Have already tried Almost all the root app, vroot, kingoroot, iroot, kingroot, towelroot, and root genius, both pc and mobile version.
Pls help me out.
Where arevd developers in d site, why are you guys ignoring post on this particular topic? Some created this same last since last week, you guys ignore him, same
with mine, d first time I created this topic, u saw it and close it, cos i included "changing of imei to the thread" what is your excuse this time?
If you did not have a solution to the thread, simply say it so i can stop hoping.

Believe me, when it comes to ''low end'' devices on this site,you're wasting time..I've learned the hard way,best bet is to stay away from Walmart and the dollar stores,I purchased a Lg Lucky L16CV11a not 10a the 11a is patched and nothing,absolutely nothing can root this phone..Next stop,Ebay LG 3G all the way 100%
KingRoot 4.8.2 apk can root this phone.
I have successfully rooted my alcatel onetouch pop star (5022D).
Go to this website kingoapp.com (I cannot post link as I am new user)
and download the android app from their website and voilaa!!!!.
It worked for me.

I bought my phone last year and didnt care about doing the rooting for my Viewpad7. But recently i feel annoy with such a limited program in my phone. I read throughly in this forum about VP7, and the best SuperOneclick version is 1.7. But the thing is i cant find any link to download. Someone pls help me with this. I tried the new version, it's not working.

So, I didn't want rooting exactly, I want delete default apps on my phone. It's enough for me if I can. I know it, we must root phones for do something via root privileges, but, any other way for delete default apps except rooting?

I am also in the same boat as this user. I just want to remove the default apps that came pre-installed. I have searched the forum with key words 'Alcatel OT922' and didn't get many hits.
Make that 3 of us. So far, I've tried One Click Root (failed), Superoneclick (hangs on step 7 every time) and 74root (failed). Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I found a guide that explains the permissions to root this phone, but in the end the most beautiful, they put a photo on the phone that is compatible, and the flash was under and I think it's perfect, but then I read that in the battery slot c 'it is written "model: I9220 PAD". I've written in my "model: N9000." I can not understand how I can afford the root. The above suggestion in quotes is quite useless when it comes to china phones :good:
Listen Conventional tools don't work for the mt65xx series.
Go to " COLONEL ZAP's " blog.
just do a google search.
You will need these ingredients :
1. FIRMWARE or ROOT files to flash with.
2. sp FLASH software.
3. usb vcom drivers...
4. stop reading this and goto THAT blog. ( it has everything )

i used SuperOneClick on the China phone just got and did it in 60 seconds. I can post picture of Super User Installed.

Hmm.. Then I want to apologise, for the two phones had n9770 and n9776 (a friends) both needed to be flashed even though i tried a custom app ( don't remeber now) and SuperOneClick.
Anyways mamarco32 , go for the flash a little hectic if you don't have the know-how and if the SOC app doesn't work.

So I have a friend who has this tablet, a Visual Land Prestige 7, Model # : ME-107-L-8GB, Android 4.2 JellyBean. He tried to root the device using a market app called Towelroot before I could get to him. He says he ran the app and now all his tablet does is freeze up, and as far as we can tell it is still not rooted.
I have successfully rooted 3 separate GS3's and an HTC Evo, so I can say I know my way around a tiny bit, but I sure as heck would never trust any apk to do the rooting for me.
Anyway, I cannot find any support for this off brand or model on the site, so i figured i would ask here. Any one know the correct way to root this particular device? any replies appreciated. Thanks in advance. Sorry if this is in the wrong place, please move it wherever you think it should go.

Try framaroot.apk,super click root ,z4root.apk may be one pf them root ur device

You could try toweroot root as well...
I have used Bin4ry's method and never have any problems. You can get it here:

Of course that is a little more involved, but that to has never failed me.

I have 2 Iconia one 10(b3-a30) and for some reason after weeks and months of waiting and trying KingRoot PC and Kingo countless times including the most recent updates... I'm entirely clueless has to what's wrong... They are both up to date one of which is really close to OEM "bloated and mostly vanilla" and mine being as minimalistic as i could without loss of stability.
Would a hard reset and removing my sdcard try again with KingRoot do it? I just don't want to jump off the bridge just to end up where I am now....
I m open to ANY solution that can apply to my case... Please inquire for more information if necessary

I too have a iconia b3 a30 and i have tried lots of apps and pc programs for rooting.
Unfortunately i have not found a single one that successfully roots the tablet.
Somebody please help us
