Evening guys and girls,
I just received a shiny new Xiaomi Mi Note Pro, and after having flashed the stock ROM I'm disappointed to find there is no Google Play Store
I was wondering if someone could help me install it from a trusted source? I've tried downloading the Play Store itself along with the Play Services APK but it just keeps force closing.
Any help is really appreciated.
Best wishes for 2016 everybody!

International MIUI version has Google Apps pre-installed (and chinese only stuff removed). It should be good for everyday use.
That ROM posted above works great! But if you don't want to use that, try to uninstall play store then reinstall.

I bought a Huewai Mate 9 from an online store saying it was a UK store. The phone arrived, its a chinese version with no Google Store, GMS or Playstore. So I cannot install my apps or get my backup files installed from my okd phone. Any help appreciated - thanks.

Visit Huawei's app store. There you may download GMS and Play Store.
GMS - http://a.vmall.com/app/C10611057
Play Store - http://a.vmall.com/app/C10057661
Good luck to you.
hi im planning to order a find x2 pro on wondamobile in the future but i want to ask if by them sideloading google playstore does it has the same problem like huawei mate 30 and p40 regarding gms?
Wonda ships all phones with Google Play store installed. They install it themselves. I don't think it will have the same problem as the Huawei phones regarding GMS. Huawei doesn't want you to use GMS, so people who want to use Google services most likely have to find new methods to install them after each new update. Other Chinese brands probably don't care.
I used to have a Chinese model of a Xiaomi phone and I'm pretty sure it didn't have Google Play Store installed out of the box, I had to install it myself and I had no issues whatsoever. Everything worked fine.
bought a China firmware XiaoMi phone, downloaded google play store on apkmirror, but it just stucked at the Play icon while i open it up. Is there any other setting i need to do?
Google Play Store app only works as expected if GMS Core got installed before.

Yes, you can install the Google Play Store on your Xiaomi Mix2s and Mi11 China ROM directly from Apkpure/Apkmirror, and it should work fine. However, updating the Google Play Store itself might be a challenge.
But don't worry, there are solutions available. You can try searching for the latest version of the Google Play Store APK file on reliable websites like Apkpure or Apkmirror and manually install the update.
By doing so, you'll be able to keep your Play Store up to date and enjoy the latest features and improvements. Hope this helps, and best of luck with your Play Store updates!
